and hami is.... DEAD! We had a bumpy start hazy cleared up some things via tells that I had not considered. It would of been a much longer raid had he not made some suggestions and had we not tried a few other things. Good run all. That was the first hamiraid I've led, thanks for having patience with me.

The zone setup is different and it brings more attention to redside I guess. *shrug* I've never been to a redside hamiraid and I never see anyone lead them on redside. Figured it might be fun to change things up from the usual blueside stuff.

Going to attempt a redside hami raid this saturday around 8pm eastern. EoE farming friday night as soon as the msr concludes (Usually between 10:15 and 10:30pm est) at Monster Island (northern sub in grandville)
Villain, Vigilante or Rogue aligned characters are required obviously. -

At this point I'm thinking of possibly hosting the raid this Saturday with EoE farming after Friday nights shipraid.
EoE farming will also be conducted at Monster Island on villainside so bring your villain, rogue or vigilante that you plan to play or just store your EoEs in a base table or the market window.
Monster Island is the north red dot in Grandville. -
Id really like to see a series take place after ds9's Dominion war while some of those people are still living to make reappearances for parts of the series. How did things turn out for Sisko after he joined the prophets? What about Odo finally joining the great link and what becomes of the people of Cardassia after dominion occupation? The series really ended with a bit of a cliffhanger.
Enterprise also deserves another revist. It was supposed to have atleast 1 more season before it was canceled and it really was a great show with an interesting story line. This series really got interesting in the 2nd and 3rd seaasons and I think the show would probably do better this time around especially if they add some additional seasons for past fans. -
Shipraids every Friday and Sunday at 9:30pm est with league formation at 8:45pm est until posted otherwise either here or in the LBMOTD.

Im thinking a saturday would probably be best with shipraids and CoPs on Friday and Sunday I don't want to make things too inconvenient on myself or others to attend.
I don't know what Saturday either, Just post below with the villains, vigilantes or rogues that you have available and when the soonest is that you can attend and perhaps we can work out a good time. Even if its not a Saturday.
Keep in mind this is my first time leading a hamiraid so suggestions are welcomed. Below is a signup sheet so we can get an idea of who will show up. I don't expect all 20 - 48 league players to post here.
If you have a character you'd like to bring make sure they are vigilante, rogue or villain before whatever raid day we decide upon.

So work has been killing me again and with my new added homework time needed for school I have missed some gaming days till really late at night. Both Halloween and winter stuff has already been finished for the year or just Halloween? I didn't see any information about this posted anywhere. Figured it was something that hasn't even been started on with the work for freedom. Either way it would be neat stuff to see at some point in time.

Halloween and Winter are both approaching very quickly and with that I'd like to make some suggestions for new unlockables to be added to trick or treating and the events
Halloween
New lore pets:
Croatoa enemy groups: Firbolg, Tuantha, ghosts and cabal witches.
These must be unlocked and you still have craft them to use them.
Costumes: Firbolg head with firey eyes and without firey eyes (male/female) Cabal Witch shoulders(female, unless a male version can be made) and tattered skirt available in all skirt types if possible (pleated, unpleated, flared, mini, etc).(female)
New Weapon customization:
Burning firbolg head mace (warmace)
kill skuls mace - plain and simply a skull on top of a mace (warmace)
Emotes:
/em gotarock A halloween decorated paper bag appears in your characters hand and they reach in to pick up a small rock, they glance at it and shake head in shame and then promptly drop it.
/em sharecandy Your character empties a decorated bag onto the ground and makes a friendly gesture to have some candy.
Winter:
Winter Event
First and foremost I'm still going to hope for weather to be added to the game at some point. With that snow in the winter and rain at other times and perhaps sandstorms if we get a desert zone someday.
New lore pets:
Winterlord guardian, etc, and redcaps
Frostling pet for jack frost customization:
I've always wanted one of those winterhorde creatures to use. A frostling or something. Since earth control got the customization for its pet already I think this would be a welcomed optional change. works just like the earth control pets when you unlock it, you select the new pet or keep using the old one if you so choose.
These must be unlocked and you still have craft them to use them.
New costumes: Santa belt (male/female), Fur trim skirt (pleated, unpleated, flared, mini, etc)(female) ski mask (male/female) ski goggles (male/female)
To complete the weapon based character:

Dual ski poles (dual blades)
single ski pole (katana, ninja blade, broad sword) Maybe a larger version for titan weapons?
Emotes:
/em eatcandycane Just like other eating emotes.
Prestige sled sprint:
We've got rocketboards so how about a sled to sit on instead of skiing in the winter chalet?
Events:
I'm still thinking here. But I'd really like to see atleast 1 new event added to halloween and 1 new event added to winter. Last years halloween and winter events were a big letdown in regards to new content. Malleus mundi and lady winter were pretty small additions compared to previous years. -
Just noticed this too. I had deleted 4 characters in the past and now those slots are locked. In reality I have purchased and unlocked all 36 slots on the liberty server. Now I guess I need to go look at the other servers as well.
edit: the ncsoft store appears to be down. That maybe the reason why the slots are unusable. -

If it did there would have been a rush to an about face in reverting the terribad system that is I13 pvp.

It was definitely more than 5%. Another thing to note is many of those players also had several accounts. It wasn't a good loss either way.
I personally never cared for pvp in this game and think its even worse now. But that's just me. -

PvP was never popular in this game. I joined a week before Issue 4 introduced Arena's. One of the things that drew me to this game over others was the fact that it had no PvP. Once it was added it was strictly created as being optional for that very reason, a large chunk of us didn't care for it and would've rioted if forced to do so.
After CoV launched, we started getting a serious PvP crowd. All the same, on most servers Siren's and Warburg were desolate zones. My namesake Blaster spent his entire 24 - 28 levels running the repeat missions in Siren's for the extra bonus they (at the time) gave. In the months I flew around the zone I only saw 2 villains. Ever. It was a blast being chased all over the place by a Stalker that was hunting me for a few days, He'd gank me coming out a mission door. I'd then stealth stalk him and wait for my chance. We had the entire zone to ourselves, during primetime, for days...
PvP is dead. No interest from us means no interest from the Dev's. Fact is, something would have been done by now if the PvP crowd was large enough to warrant it. Since PvP is all but ignored by the Dev's we must infer this to mean the vocal PvP crowd is insignificant to the big picture and would thus be a waste of valuable resources.
As an aside, I'd be in favor of turning one of the existing hazard zones into a FFA before I'd ask for an entire new zone dedicated to a small select group of players. Take Boomtown and have it be infected with a toxin that makes everyone go nuts and attack friend and foe alike, but you have to risk it to do X. -
They say its for hardware upgrades. But if thats just for bigger harddrives to store more characters for the freedom program Im not really happy. I've been hoping for hardware upgrades that would greatly increase server / client performance and communication. Things that would finally end power lag. I have noticed the last 2 shipraids have had nearly zero powerlag but things like the baf and the rikti zone invasions still do.

I had always planned on getting my hands dirty in the hami gelatin. I've got a vacation coming up and I don't plan on going anywhere just relaxing at home. Maybe get some attempts going then.
