I actually found that by focusing almost solely on + dam, + recharge and + acc in that order, I can get by survivability-wise by simply living in retsu that is up more then down.

However, the crash tends to be an evil midget popping out of the corner(AkA Con) at the worst possible time.

A WB bash against protector sounds hawt on a day so close to my Bday.

  12. Building toons is part of starting pvp. I honestly have given new players builds, including my elec/therm's, only to have them get ripped apart.

Post a build, and we can halp.

I dunno, I am feeling really hai tonite.

Actually, there isnt anything wrong, its just the regerative powers of ice, out do the resist powers of any of the other sets at the moment. Quite a few people make phase or tactics + PFF work. Ice just seems to work alot better in zone and in most cases.

Editted the slotting on TDL's build a little, becuase I am too lazy to go find my old psy/em's build, few major differences

The stealth IO is in sprint, just retoggle it every so often.

Moved some sets around, was way over the HP cap

Took out assault for CP, you will like CP alot, 'specially when you DO get hit by HE

Staminia- You want the +end proc, you will feel it in there and appreciate it more with it in there.

  15. The snipe has good damage, its fine, using it occassionally, some skip it, its just dependant on whats going on around.

Psy is the best, even without placate proc. With the procs, the -recharge and the fluid attack chain. It just is the best. Sonic is a close comparison to it without the placate proc, but it is quite definite that psy is better.
  16. Stalkering is more about playing then most realize, it's REALLY dependant on AS. There are alot of shark spammers, and they are effective to a certain degree. But the real indication of any sort of knowledge in playing a stalker is choosing when and where to use AS or sharks.

So honestly, I would more prefer a shottily IOed, though experienced stalker to a 50 bill inf toon. Get as much practice in, tailor your build to how you play. All we can do is give advice on how to achieve goals in your build (IE slotting)

Try this build however, it is somewhat cheaper then the stalker build I run, and, then again, I don't run sharks, however.

About Scramble, you are stunning for a slotted 4 seconds. The power, I beleive, takes 3 seconds to animate. Besides that, invalidates the reason to go psy/, which is the placate proc in will dom.

Mostly, its to defend against the Power Push, the /energy doms like to throw, and also power thrust and tk thrust. 41 is the best, although some make due with 37.5

Wasn't an insult, if you are in zone, and die to a blaze/regin, either there are ALOT of others involved, or you are horrible. Regens dont have the damage.
  20. drop scramble, get maneuvers + tactics. Get KB resist.

Exactly, but the fact that TK thrust < Power thrust is by virtue of the powers other then that. Power thrust will be better then TK, becuase its in a better set. The power vs power debate is slightly stupid in itself. Considering they are both pretty horrible becuase range + blaster is good.

  23. Go EM.

    Boost range IS that good.

    TF is garbage. Nuff said.

If ur doing zone, PB is a life saver, the addition to ToHit is somewhat noticable, but more noticable is the increase to run speed. lol if you want, but it has saved my skin in zone more times then Hibernate has.

    Power thrust > Tk thrust.

/MM has a good power, in bugged DP. But that involves melee.

It has a good fear, but lolfear.

    Nuff said.
