There is always going to be something better, whether pve or pvp.

Balance exists in teams...hopefully with experienced players.

Even with newer players, getting a team to offset your weaknesses helps a lot.

PvP is getting better, devs are changing some powers, moving others around.

Syph is a good Sonic (when he doesn't nuke off the start)...but you'll learn to mute him on Vent.

Please remove @Neuronia.

Won't have time to commit to a second test sg on top of Paragon Elite, the upcoming test ladder and other stuff on live.

Just as a point of curiosity, how to you get a mob's combat attributes? I've clicked on a mob and brought up the Powers - Combat attributes tab and received my own...

Harder than States TF and Lady Grey for sure.

States TF is a joke pretty much...the only problems are with Dr. Aeon and sometimes the AV pulls. Lady Grey is fine, problems sometimes occur at Hamidon and with The Honoree's Unstoppable.

It's easier than LRSF, that's for sure...now...I never run States or Recluse anymore unless I need an Accolade for a villain or a friend wants badges: too many tech rewards and the non-badge end results are lacking for a task of that magnitude.

Teams for ITF are very hit and miss for the most part. I just had a fantastic run wtih an Emp, 4 Blasters, an Ill/Rad a Necro/Dark and my Mind/Fire. WE just mopped the place up. I've had other runs without as much range that did poorly...

Giving kudos to JoJo here myself...no more 'markettears' for me!

I've really got mixed feelings about the TF.

Did it tonight with

2 Mind/Psi Dom (1 43, 1 36)
1 Mind/Fire Dom (38)
1 Trick Arrow/Arrow Defender (50)
1 Dark Corruptor (50)
1 SS/INV BRute (50)

We just couldn't punch through Romulus or the essences...I've completed it with groups of several Scrappers/Blasters with one controller though.

If you revisit this do the following changes:

Identify each Essence
Reduce healing Essence
Lower hit points of all Essences
Make Essences somewhat easier to debuff


Remember, you want people to get the Roman costume, not to feel frustrated, give up and go back to running Katies (which is what I am about to do).

As it is now...once I get the costumes for my friends, I am not going to run the TF. The final battle is too aggravating. I play this game to have fun with my friends and get cool costumes, not to hammer my head against a wall.

With #50 of the City Scoop coming up, I'm looking to document Arena history from Issue 4 to now.

Specially looking for:

-Colorful quotes and anecdotes from vets
-Team line-ups and their evolution
-Links to scores from matches back then
-Memorable matches/drama
-Teams from back in the day (seem to remember Tribute, Lion's Den, JAL, HVND, etc)
-How organized it was:

I will make you a deal:

I will opt IN to all in-game ads if you allow me to opt OUT of having to hear other people ingame. Last thing I want is game sounds drowned out by chatter.

Option to turn off please...I am not interested in hearing people breathing and giggling nonstop.

The reason I play CoH is that I only use Vent when doing pvp...it's otherwise a welcome respite from chatter. I do NOT want to log in to beat up some Hellions and have to hear mindless chatter.
