You'll certainly feel the lack of AoE, but honestly if you take Taunt and line up your cones DM is certainly in the less boring category with better balanced damage from multi-mobs to bosses (imo).

I went DM/Elec so I could have a bit of AoE going on at least, and Mu's a good set to round it out aoe-wise if you have none at all like WP.

Roderick's idea for sharks is solid too if you're a fan of cone attacks. I know I am and boy can you dish out the pain if you line stuff up.

So long as you take Taunt, you'll protect your team and still do solid damage as DM/WP.

I never thought I'd hit any sort of email cap.

Then I went for my Invention badges. Hoooaa boy.

If you think 150 is large try getting these badges. Hell try getting ONE of the badges without sending a flurry of emails to yourself.

Craft 14 lv 45 Damage IOs and 14 lv50 Damage IOs with only 10 personal slots, 16 WW slots of which 12 are probably selling or holding bought items, and you're SOL. You're dumping off those hance that cost you 400k to make for 15,000 on WW just to free up a slot.

Now do that 8 more times. That's one tier of badges, just 4 more tiers to go! On my new toon I still have 2 tiers left to accomplish and I'm past 500 IOs crafted. Hmm 500.... 150... 500? 150?...

Obviously, there's some crafter love that needs to come into play.

And if you're trying to save money by sending yourself salvage from other accounts, you can double the # of emails. I sent maybe 10 key salvage to myself, the rest was just shifting freshly-made enhancements, and I hit the cap in one day.

I understand it's purpose and I understand that there's a small population of people hitting this cap. But once you hit it you'll be here too. It's impacting my paid time and I take issue with that as you would.

Self-sent emails only fix the one account, not if your a two+ account person swapping salvage. (Hehe "swapping salvage")

Ahem, anyways the fixes are already posted. Email filters exist and we use them. I've not had a drop of spam since they went live. And even at 150 emails/day I'm fairly certain the RMT guys would've sent me something by now.

RE-Respec question (as of Apr 17th, 2005)

Wanted to toss this out there, since it's on my mind I suppose it's on others as well...

I've a lv 50 character who has used all their Respecs. With the Arena out on test and I4 on the verge, just wanted to ask if anyone has heard about a future Free Respec OR the possibility of redoing the Lv 50 Respec in order to earn another power adjustment.

I believe - though I can't recall where - that the devs stated a free respec would come along with each Update.

Any truth to this Posi, States, or Cuppa... or anyone else for that matter?

I wanted to try my guy in the Arena Respec'd, but cannot do that currently... but would like an option to do so. And if anyone could make that happen like.... tomorrow... tha'd be greeeeeeeeeeaaat...

Just wanted to mention that I am sometimes on a modem along with some friends.

It's only because we play when we travel, and obviously our BB dunt come with us. It stinks, but we need our CoH fix.

And, any cutting down you do on your avatars is very much appreciated. I love to see them. But if modem guys are really gonna throw a hissy over it, they can always disable bringing them up in the forums.

Secondly I believe there are several GIF optomizers out there that do all that cutting-down-without-losing-quality for you at least on the GIF part if that's an issue for you. I think GIF Optimizer (gee what does this prog do? :P) does a good job, but I can't remember if it has a free trial or not. I'll look it up again and see what they offer.

Any other suggestions for optimizing your anime besides the GIF? Please post again, thx.
