3/3 hold/rech was indeed optimum slotting afaik, endreducers are pretty worthless on holds with all the AM and RA flying around.

it indeed needs a to-hit check yea, though for PvE acc slots aint needed.

just lil thing, most illusion trollers shouldnt bother signin up ere as I need those to bomb PAs at the start of the raid

indeed you only need the particle beam cannon (or whatever its called) for the head, thermites CAN be used for tentacles, but any attack will slaughter the tentacles really.

Trick normally is:
1) get weapons
2) clear the 4 shield generators of rikti + kraken, while standin behind the rocks so the head/tentacles doesnt see you
3) clear tentacles
4) clear all the generators AT THE SAME TIME
5) use particle cannons on head while fending off rikti ambushes
6) repeat from 4
7) oooooooh, shiny badge!

I havent seen mu guardians "in the wild" that often (if ever), but they are pretty frequent spawns in the 10-30 arachnos mishes if you run em on an 8man team on invinc

I took psi mastery on my ill troller, half conceptwise, half because its a good set. The 2 blasts are nice, but not too powerful without containment, however theyre pretty nice if you intend to PvP. However psi mastery offers 2 nice shields, one against smash/lethal/psi and one hold/sleep/stun (iirc) and psi. Having defense against psi is a nice plus in the endgame where you have to fight carnies and of course some mez-resist.

But as said before, ice epic has some nice synergy with storm as well

well, like others said, you gotta adapt to how fear works for it to be great. If you put it down, then proceed to smack em with AoEs.. that aint the best way to use it.

Also, in addition to what's been said above, its also great for when you have to run. Run away, then cast it in a doorway, everybody following you will be stopped dead in their tracks by lil timmy.

well if a SK spot is available, count Lady Earth (lvl 36 earth/storm troller) in. Oh and it indeed is rubbish that you need 50s exemped to do it, with good organization its possible to do it the normal one, you just need people not goofing off. The best attempt I ever done was on my WS in a team of 38-40. We done it with only 1 death and I think 15-20 minutes to spare. Also half of the team hadnt done it before, and the ones that did do it before hadnt succeeded yet once.

"with all his +def on".. were you fighting near NPCs or in the middle of a big bunch of villains? if so, the +def from invincible is pretty much neglectible if its only based on 1 foe. He barely scratches you cause inv is a res-based set, not defbased.
