Defence = They can't hit you.
Resistance = They hit you but you take less damage when it happens.
Regeneration = Gets hit but is so busy regenning up you barely notice it and call it RES.
Maybe that brute has poor accuracy.
1. regens usaly have dull pain up since you can make the downtime pretty short..and yes since they have a good regen rate they heal at the time you attack em (depending on timing 2)..
2. errr lvl 50 invul tank?..its a set still mainly based on res..so why pointing out on def:/..SS has way to high acc 2 most of the time thnx to rage...can easily hit trou SR scrappers if slotted well..asks for a nerf but thats not teh point right now

"with all his +def on".. were you fighting near NPCs or in the middle of a big bunch of villains? if so, the +def from invincible is pretty much neglectible if its only based on 1 foe. He barely scratches you cause inv is a res-based set, not defbased.

More to the point, most of the Res is for Smash/Leathal, which is the type of damage an SS Brute does, so he wouldn't do much damage if he did hit you.

I got alot of toons and I have started seriously to PVP now.
But what I notice is:
1. Regen looks like +RES
When I hit a regen scrapper(not much +res/+def, good regen raid) with my BS scrapper, he doesn't heal fast, doesnt hit heal buttons, doesn't hit MOG, but it looks like he got a very good RES.
2. +DEF looks likes +RES
When a SS brute hits my 50 invul tank in sirens, with all his +DEF on the brute doesnt miss?!? but he doesnt scratch me. so +DEF works ar good RES too.
I miss the variety as in PvE a bit.
