Let me begin by giving you mad props. Mad props for bringing this up, and openly saying you're in to it. Nothing wrong with it, and it's dumb people shun it. I look at it this way: We have our likes, our dislikes, and our guilty pleasures. Don't knock it until you've tried it, and if you've tried it don't be a jerk about it if you didn't enjoy it.
That said, I do have a few questions for you regarding your 'intersex' character (I like that term, where'd you find it?):
Will her 'gender' cause her to act differently than a woman with regular equipment?
Will it affect her physical structure in ways other than the obvious? (I ask this question because in many cases [Futa] tags are synonymous with the Physique/Legs/Chest sliders being all the way up.)
Are you going to be actively seeking a romantic-style RP?
I think I'll be able to better answer/address your post if you're willing to respond to these. If not, no worries, and IMO, don't let anyone get you down. Just be open and let them know what's up. -
I saw someone with 'Pyre' last night in Nova Praetoria.
Good names != hard to find. -
My Dark/Dark/Soul Brute (since getting the Fighting Pool and his Cardiac Radial) runs at +3/x8.

Quote:Ok, I am rolling a Dark Tank tonight. I used to tank way back with an Inv/Em tank (remember, herding whole maps at once?). I have a Kat/Dark Scrapper who is awesome ( lvl 33 so far ). Just wondering what a good secondary would be for it. Thinking maybe Kinetic. I have played the death out. Of SS on my Brute. Is the -dmg noticeable? I am thinking it might pair nice with Darkest Night from the Soul Patron set.
I would recommend Kinetic Melee. Stacking stuns, good knockdown mitigation, and the -DMG debuffs will stack nicely with your resists.
EDIT: Plus you can color Dark Armor and Kinetic Melee in really exciting ways. -
Go Brute. SR definitely wins out for Brutes, and KM won't feel much different from a Scrapper. The sheer speed of KM is enough for me.

Unless you're trying to go for the old PvP travel combo, I think you can safely drop either Super Leap or Super Speed. Check my sig, my build is in my Dark/Dark/Soul guide. It's not current to I19 (my fault) but maybe it'll give you some insight. Replace legacy Fitness with Fighting and you nearly have my build.

Quote:You must be new to Mondo. Grains of salt required.Oh, you mean the one in Atlas Park who was holding a costume contest, that you were participating in until right when they said they were going to announce the finalists and then you went off, in broadcast, to the effect of "Screw this, I am not going to be in a contest held by some idiot healer who is too stupid to take more than one attack". And then continuing on in broadcast on your little rant insulting them and once again trying to tell everyone how best to play "The Game According to Mondo"?
Then when people told you to stop acting like a "******", you got on your defensive martyr troll high horse by repeating, "Who is the ******, the person who expresses their opinion or the ****** who insults them for it?"... conveniently ignoring the fact that you were indeed insulting their opinion and play choices first?
Or was this yet another time?
Gee, can't imagine why you were called a troll... -

Quote:Resistance sets are only considered weaker by people who believe that you can only play the game when your character is softcapped to Smash/Lethal.i started a war mace/elec and am finding it really fun. i didnt pick the set for the damage aura, but its turned out to be really nice. i know resistance based def sets are generally considered weaker, but it hasnt impacted on the fun. plus lightning reflexes is great.
Resist sets have never been outperformed by Defense sets when it comes to my characters. My non-soft-capped-to-anything Dark Armor Brute stomps more face and takes more hits than my softcapped-to-all-positions Shield tanker. -

Engaged takes 2 args, you gave 0.

Sent proposal to @Aiobhan.
Congratulations! You and @Aiobhan are now engaged.
You gain 25,400 experience and have paid 2.5 million infamy.
Thanks to my timing, the girlfriend said yes and we became the first engaged couple of 2011 (in the pacific northwest, at least).
I'm telling the world because I feel that I must. -

I didn't want to believe it until it happened to me.
Apparently, people are being kicked from teams/denied teams for not having an unlocked, slotted Alpha Slot.
Seriously? Where did the elitist jackwagons that decided to instate this bull@#$% come from? Did we get a migration from Freedumb? It's not even for the two Alpha-exclusive TF's, either; people are getting booted and denied from regular teams.
It's not like you can't run regular crap without the Alpha. Furthermore, the Alpha isn't a massively game-changing enhancement. At least, it doesn't have that potential at present.
Anyone else had this happen? Myself and about 8 of my global buddies have seen/experienced it so far. -
If you have the slot to spare, may I suggest a Golgi Exposure HO in Dark Regeneration? It really shaves off the ol' endurance cost. Right now, with a Cardiac Radial Alpha, my Dark/Dark Brute's Dark Regeneration heals for 901 per enemy and only costs 9.12 endurance.
Also, if you're willing to absolutely gut the damage in Shadow Punch, you should look in to 6-slotting Siphon Insight for the 3.75% Smash/Lethal defense bonus. But that's my opinion, and as always YMMV. -
Soul Mastery for Darkest Night. That'll stack well with RttC's ToHit debuff.

Quote:That hip mobster that knows everyone and has everything on a string. That's what I see. The GF says she thinks of Anderson Cooper.Could and couldn't work. With the spirits, one has to look at the zone as a whole. If you look at what is actually in Imperial zone, you see that it is mostly clubs, movies and everything of entertaining value. I, personally, see Imperial as sort of Desire from the Sandman comics. Everything you have ever wanted or need, Imperial has it. *shrugs*

((Screenies!))
((Any suggestions for costume tweaks?)) -

Never had any of the problems you described.
Methinks you need a tune-up. -
Quote:((I did Soul of Neutropolis. I like it more anyway; it doesn't feel like Neutropolis is a spirit, but a soul. More tied-in, more busy, more difficult to rip from the body. And thank you! <3 I'll post a screenie!))[Hehe. I have no issues with anyone playing the other spirits. Though if you wanted, you could shorten Spirit of Neutropolis to maybe...Spirit of Neutro? I has no clue! Though I do see him having different sides to his personality because of all the different sectors.
And the Sewers and Imperial are still open. I see Imperial as a changer. Never the same face nor gender because it is all about the fun! And a bit insane since there is a bit of devouring earth issue going on >_>]
