Red or Blue? I just rolled an SR/MA Tanker who's unbelievably sturdy named Intactilis (Latin for untouchable) and he's just what he is: a big ******* human being.
-
Ice/Poison would probably fit the bill as well.

My 46 Night Widower 'Tyranny of Silence' is mute due to an accident in his youth; because he's in Arachnos AND a Night Widower, he can communicate telepathically ::with dual colons to denote the psychic speech itself.:: When he is unable to use his speech he either uses a large paint marker to write on nearby surfaces or takes out his iPhone and types out what he needs to say and/or text messages those he needs to talk to.

You don't need Oppressive Gloom on a Brute unless you really want to stack it with Fault. OG is bad for clustering and is more of a nuisance thanks to the "stunned, gonna wander" mob AI.

I'm slotting both with 3 slots. Frankenslotting Crawl with Acc/Slows if I can (currently 1 Acc/Slow, 1 Acc, 1 Slow), and Selection with Heal/Recharge IO's for maximawesome regen and recharge.

DP/Time works very well for me; I end up playing DP like a scrapper just for the fun of it, and Time's Juncture (the PBAoE slow/-ToHit/-DMG) toggle really helps me live that up without major risk involved. Couple the /Time slows with Cryo Rounds for a little extra sliver of slow, or Toxic Rounds for more -Damage atop Juncture. DP is one of my favorite Corruptor sets based on animations, feel and utility.
Also, slot an Achilles -Res into Empty Clips; worth it! -
Quote:Brand new. Non-refurbished. Brand-name hardware with warranty. Really? Because if I put in your EXACT SPECS on Google Shopping or Amazon I'm not looking at anything under $780 before shipping. Granted I'm not about to waste the effort to go out and hunt at Best Buy, so I'll leave that possibility out there. The $650 figure is exactly what I paid for this laptop brand new without any sales. Keep looking, because you just lost $200 for nothing.
Quote:Playing the "poor, persecuted Apple apostle" because of anecdotes of a former Mac user? I thought that was reserved for people who had never used a Mac!
"Macs. Half the power for twice the price! You're doing it for hipster points. Don't do it."
Oh yes, macs are bad for just you and you're just voicing your fair and balanced opinion.
Quote:I'm telling you Macs are bad for ME, that this is my personal experience, that this is why I switched to PCs, just as others in this PUBLIC discussion are doing.
Quote:No, not everyone who dissents is automatically a troll.
I ask you again, why did you even bother posting in this thread? -
Quote:You were clearly PLing your day jobs.Yep! I did indeed log in. Marty caught me fair and square.
However, I'm not sure why Marty is monitoring Logins. Is it because my respecs and tailor sessions are announced all at once?
I'm a pretty awesome guy. It may have been that my good looks and animal magnetism was counted as a reward to everyone else on the server. That must be it.
Sorry, Marty. I'll try to dial down the brightness on my charm just a bit. -

Quote:Still holds, however.Just to point out EULA's have only been held up in one Kangaroo court.
If you sign a document that says "I hereby give permission for Joey Anyman to hit my left hand with a tack hammer one (1) time without any legal, physical or financial repercussions" and sign it (the agreement), Joey can hit your hand with a hammer and if you decide to take him to court he can present the document. The judge would laugh at you. -
That's the funny thing about end user license agreements; if you agree to it you have no right to demand anything more than what it says you can.

Quote:Because that's the logical, rational and financially sound way of doing it.why does everyone, when you ask for compensation assume to break it down into a dollar figure? I PAID 30 days. give me 30 days. Hell for all the inconvience they should credit everyone with an extra week game time.
If you took your car in to have it's oil changed and they were 1mL short from giving you a full oil pan, would you demand they do the entire thing again for free? No. You ask them to top it off, and they'd probably do it for free.
Another example: If you buy a sack of oranges from a fruit stand and pay for 10 oranges but notice upon opening it that there are nine, are you seriously going to go back to the guy and demand not only the tenth orange but another ten?
If you do I'm very sorry for anyone you do business with. -

Easy fix: Make something in the Paragon Market free, like an aura or a costume piece, because that's roughly what the math equates to. I'd be happy with that, especially if they shelled out something new for it.

Quote:Were you listening to that piece of music when you and I brought the smackdown to Neuron, Paladin? :PPaladin's themesong is usually this, which brings to my mind a lot of fierce group combat, trials, and other endgame content:

Hearing this song always gets me pumped up, and even RPing from time to time. -
Quote:You know, now that I think about it, it amazes me you even posted in this thread.Macs. Half the power at twice the price! You're doing it for hipster points. Don't do it.
Did you happen to notice the thread title from the English forum overview and just had to say something? -
Quote:There's only one problem with that, Draeth.I'm developing an idea...
An AE arc featuring Arcanaville as the world's first silicon-based life form (which is so brilliant it invented itself. Maybe in The Future.) who secretly pulls all the strings behind Paragon City, the Rogue Isles, Praetoria, the Rikti, the Battalion, and everything else...
That has already happened.
The life form's name is Black Pebble. -
Quote:But I like level 50!Don't build your characters to function only at 50. Problem solved.
Quote:Because the story takes place while you are at that level.
Remember that "time" is progressed in the game world through your levels. By setting the level of this arc at 20, it sets it firmly in the timeline of events that happen while you level.
Quote:You're acting like the entire concept of EX'ing is brand new. It's interesting to me that this idea really does still bother people that much. I guess if it does then you're going to have to be willing to miss various parts of this game. *shrugs*
Quote:I really can't see a problem with it being lvl 20. Are you suggesting that you can only be a hero once you achieve lvl 50?
.. I also really miss Darkest Night. -
While I don't really do theme songs, I do have songs that will make me think of a character 100% of the time. WARNING: LOTS OF PISSED OFF ORCHESTRA AND METAL AHEAD.
Nalrok Ath'Zim: Budget Meeting, Hans Zimmer
That song right there has been the backdrop to hundreds of thousands of "Everyone try to kill Nalrok" scenes in my head. Of course, he never loses when **** like that is playing!
Andret: Battlefield, Crystal Eyes
It's power metal about battle. Andret uses powered metal to battle. 'Nuff said.
Der Wahnsinn: Zerstören, Rammstein
Der Wahnsinn is an Intangible; that is, a physical representation of an aspect of human psyche. Since 'Der Wahnsinn' translates to 'The Insanity' his aspect is obvious. He's absolutely BATSHAT insane, and the lyrics of this song reflect it. "I MUST DESTROY; but I don't want to be a bad boy! I MUST DESTROY; but I want to be a good boy! Breaking, smashing, bashing, lashing, stomping, crushing, burning, then RUNNING! Not asking, just smashing!"
Beam Time: Smile, Crystal Method
Smile is a beautifully sad, crunchingly hard song. It fits Beam Time's overall story (something I need to finish ASAP to startle you all with the ending) and has just the right amount of tech and thought within it. -
This bothered me as well. Why the heck do I need to be EX'd down when the life of one of the greatest is on the line?
Secondly, why does my level matter that much? It feels like the arc is shoehorning me into not being as powerful as I normally am -- which ******* sucks in a game like this -- just so I don't whizz past the story or some other speed-related garbage.
Can we get an explanation as to why this arc shaves off 90% of your power? -
Quote:Get out.Okay, I have a dose of reality for you. The reality is, I owned Macs for a decade before switching to a PC. The reality is that most game developers don't bother with a Mac version. I wonder why that is? Here's a hint: It's not some arbitrary coincidence and it isn't due to hardware.
Quote:Edit: To the Mac zealots claiming I lack technical knowledge: Your assignment is to take $650 and try to find a Mac that has a second generation Core i5 processor, 6 gigs of ram, 750 gig hard drive and a Geforce 525M graphics processor with 1 gig of dedicated video memory. When you find a Mac with that much power, post the price for everyone to see.
Jubb, do yourself a favor and ignore the trolls, as hearing "macs suck, stupid Jobs fanbois" is doing absolutely nothing for you other than showing the one downside to owning a mac on these forums: getting the brunt end of every jerk on this forum just for using a mac.
Plus, there is always Bootcamp as others have said (and let's face it, it's not hard to get Windows if you know where to look), and my Core i7 Macbook Pro runs games amazingly well when booted into Windows (Crysis anyone?). -
Everything.
ESPECIALLY the belt. -

I'd rather sink me own ship'n crew than sink me money into that overpriced barnacle of a power! ARRRRR ye out of yer minds, lads?! Walk the plank, I say!
