The ability to play a certain combo like a FOTM build. The indicator is when someone on the team says something to the tune of "Wow, you're This/This on a That? Nice work!" I've seen an FF/AR Defender blast away like a champion; a Mind/Emp solo an entire spawn; a TA/DP swap between weapons like some kind of crazy Hawkeye Fury...
I consider a player skilled when they've taken their chosen power pools and owned them. -

What are the odds of players ever getting things like the Shock Trooper chest harness?
As much as I hate to say it, necks in this game are wimpy and flimsy looking on everything but Huge models, who have no necks. Stuff like that chest harness (as well as the Resistance chest armor, the Retro Sci-Fi chest armor, and the upcoming Cosmic Corsair back detail) all have a really nice neck guarding element that adds to a character's "visual sturdiness" (a term I coined just now). -

I know. It's always a losing battle. Between GG and the poor handling of the storyline for the sake of raids the drubbing the Loyalists get while the Resistance are the squeaky clean big damn heroes induces a wee bit of frustration.

Do you fine folks remember when the first pass of the Circle of Thorns revamp came out and people hated it?
If you do, please log in to Beta, go to Kings Row, and give your thoughts on the new Skulls. All of my in-game buddies and I have absolutely hated what's been done to them. -

A big part of what made old Posi so slow is that back then all a level 10-15 player often had for travel was Sprint. There was no Ouro portal and not even a Green Line station in south Skyway. The bias was heavily in favor of teams who had at least one player with SS and Recall.
Once players got all the proper goodies, it was a reasonable expectation to knock out a Posi TF with a PuG in 2 hrs.
EDIT: Keep in mind players had to Sprint across a lot of zones where they might encounter even con street foes, including having to travel through Perez Park with its legion of Clockwork, Circle, Lost, and so on, and occasionally unlucky players would have to hosp (returning them to Steel Canyon) just from the travails of travel. -

Changing parts out from under us instead of making them new options has a long history of being very unpopular with the playerbase. For every person that asked for this to change there was at least one that liked it the way it was (Hi!). -
