[/ QUOTE ]Not even Masterminds can slot for rechange redux on their pet summons. That's because the slots for pet powers don't affect the MM's power itself, rather they affect the pets that are spawned in by the power.

That's because mastermind henchmen are totally different from pets. Controllers, Dominators, and dark defenders/corrupters get Pets not henchmen. You have always been able to slot recharge reductions in pets and it reduces the time for the power to recharge.
So if they are giving us patron pets with a huge recharge and no way to slot recharge reductions then they better be giving us the ability to command the pets the same way masterminds command thier henchmen otherwise this is yet another example of a power that no one will take. -
thunder strike is not an aoe power. Its a single target attack with an aoe splash damage. So yes, you have to have an enemy targeted and in range to use it.

well I got to play a mayhem mission for about 3 minutes before the server crashed out and of course I lost the mission. but the psi paragon forces were ignoring me until I attacked them. Same with police drones. Shouldn't they be attacking me?

I have to agree here. Ballista is way to hard for a normal elite boss. The toggle dropping needs to be eliminated. It's rather stupid that he can toggle drop you and you can't toggle drop him. Not to mention that no other PVE mob in the entire history of the game has had the ability to toggle drop other than normal status effect dropping. If you keep this in you need to post a warning on the contact text that warns you that he is not a normal challenge. And it might be better to make the mission not timed as well so that people have time to gather help when they realize what an overpowered PITA he is.

Ok I copied my level 17 robots/traps MM to test and got some numbers.
On Live:
Drones are slotted 2acc/4dam level 15 DOs (yellow)
on even level (white) arachnos minions (wolf spider enforcers) the drones basic blast hits for 3 ticks of 6 and the upgrade blast hits for 8/13 damage
my protector bot who is slotted 1acc/2dam/2defense buff level 15 DOs
he hits the same mobs for 3 ticks of 7 damage on his burst attack.
With assault turned on the drones hit for 3 ticks of 6 and 9/14 on the upgrade attack.
the protector hits for 3 ticks of 7 still ( I forgot to note his secondary attack damage on live)
On Test server:
same mission against level 17 white con aracnos minion (wolf spider enforcer)
the drones hit for 3 ticks of 6 damage on the regular attack the upgrade snipe does 12/18 damage and noticably hits more often.
the protector bot hits for 3 ticks of 7 and 3 ticks of 4/7 on his upgrade blast.
with assault turned on the drones hit for 3 ticks of 7 and 13/20
the protector hits for 3 ticks of 7 and 3 ticks of 5/7
Overall it now takes an average of 6-7 successful hits from all three pets in order to take down a single even level minion. On live it took an average of 8 hits. I'd say if anything we are still a little underpowered but this is definately better than is currently on live. Hopefully someone who is higer level can test with SOs and more pets.

There is also another group in the game that behaves the same exact way as Thorn Casters, Knives. They throw multiple caltrops which have the same slowing/holding powers as quicksands. I think it would be a reasonable idea to consider them as well.
Furthermore, speed boost is a great power to overcome quicksand and caltrops, unfortunately you cannot apply speed boost on yourself and siphon speed does not grant this desireable effect either. Maybe this could also be looked at.

Glad to see someone else agrees with me on siphon speed. It makes absolutely no sense that speed boost negates slows, but siphon speed doesn't. They are essentially the same power with all the same buffs (except the endurance regen for siphon speed) I imagine siphon speed should have a reduced slow resistance since it's recharge boost is lower as well. But then you would just have even more reason to slot it with recharges and stack it.
