If these changes are what to expect to hit live, then I am done with the Mission Architect. No, not because of the nerfs to farming, but because this will totally destroy my story arc which I have spent far too much time on..

You want to know what will really piss me off? Is if I can't enjoy i16 when it is finally released because of this latency issue.. Really hoping this latency problem gets resolved soon.

This issues popped up just before this last double exp weekend, and has not gotten any better. I was also able to switch to a West Coast server (Champion) and had only a single red spike during a two hour session.

Location: Central California
ISP: Comcast
Problem: A red spike nearly every 2-5 seconds, resulting in an extreme of lost packets. Although I am able to stay connected, I experience jittery NPCs/players, delayed animations, completely failed animations and twitchy enemy mobs after they have been defeated.

Interesting.. sounds like I'm going to have to give a Spines/Electric Armor/Blaze Scrapper a try..

Description: The contact is Mystic Fortune, though in the arc he is referred to as the "Mysterious Traveller" and/or "The Watcher". He starts off by asking the player to retrieve a recently unearthed artifact (The Golden Scepter) which is discovered by Doc Delilah. The scepter has unimaginable power, and he wishes to banish it from our world before it can fall into the wrong hands. Before long his attempt to banish the scepter backfires, and his mind is ripped apart, the player then has to help the Mysterious Traveller regain control over his mind, so that he can track down the Scepter again, which he believes has fallen into the hands of the demon Pathos.

When you get around to mine, we can exchange PMs about the design of the cover, I had a friend work up a quick drawing of what I had in mind, unfortunately that didn't really pan out, but it could be used as reference.

I am also among those experiencing packet loss. I play on Liberty, have for well over 4 years now, and am now suddenly experiencing major packet loss. I did a little experiment, and hopped over to Champion server for a few hours, and only got a single red spike under /netgraph once during that entire time. I switched back over to Liberty and just after logging in, sitting idle in PI (quite the non-busy zone now-a-days), I am getting 1 red spike under /netgraph nearly every 5 seconds.

I really used to enjoy playing this game, but now I hardly stay logged in because it just doesn't look cool to see all the side effects of the packet loss (failed animations, jittery characters moving on screen, endless power cycling icons, etc).

I would love it if the Epic Power Pools received the same treatment. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before they do, after all, it makes no sense to make a Fire/Fire Tank with 'Green' fire, and then get to my epic power pool and find it's still restricted to the default orange.

So I guess my wish list would look something like this:

* Color tentable/customizable Regular Power Pools
* Color tentable/customizable Ancillary/Patron Power Pools

I am sad that there is no mention of being able to customize the epic power sets.

BaBs, how difficult would it be to code something like this 'bug' into the costume editor in case some people want to freeze their toon in place by toggling on/off a button in the editor?

Obviously the lack of cape flowing and missing visual FX for auras would still need to be fixed, but a nice little quality of life feature like mentioned above would be kinda neat to have.

Just a thought.

If there is even the slightest possibility of the chat bug causing a security issue.. it needs to be shot to the -top- of the list of bugs and labeled "Priority". The fact that it has gone unfixed for 2 issues really irks me. Usually show stoppers are dealt with swiftly.

Huh? I would think heat like that would be a perfect time to hang out inside in air conditioning. Unless you A) don't have AC and your computer will overheat, or B) Your AC uses so much power your computer crashes.

My home has an Evaporative Cooler which unfortunately really only keeps the living room cool. Not to mention, the hotter it gets the less effective it becomes..
