I think I'll rate almost everything as 5 stars - I'm pretty easy to please
Although, leet speak , unless it's to do with Freaks, will probably not get 5 stars
[/ QUOTE ]
That'll make Days and his planned Freak arc done entirely in leet speak happy.
He's a braver man than I!

Shusht, don't give the game away! Besides it won't ENTIRELY be in L33t speek... I have other tricks up my sleeve!
[/ QUOTE ]
Will there be bad puns?
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh dear lord yes. All the time. It's hard enough having a conversation with him.... oh wait, you meant the MA? Right... *toddles off* -

And with all the new User Created missions will we have a glut of this happening
[/ QUOTE ]
I also think there might be a few that show Statesman in a bad light - possibly Fusionette too
[/ QUOTE ]
We don't need the MA for that!
[/ QUOTE ]
No, I mean a really bad light

I never took you to be that kind of deviant! -

I think I'd be inclined to rate an arc higher if it produces some form of emotional reaction in me - if it makes me smile (for tongue in cheek or just plain awesome reasons) or if it tugs my emotional heartstrings (ala Wretch).

The bug has started to reappear for me. Has been fine for ages, but when I logged in yesterday, it showed up again. Same again today.
No update to the server and no changes to my machine.... mmmh, what gives? -

Like that you can actually set their fighting prefAn AV that tries to stay ranged?
Edit: What was that custom characters outfit that i saw? O_o Dont think iv seen it ingame before! (roughly 5:30 on the video)

Looked like the Cyborg pack costume. -
A year in the States. Two accounts in EU, double add on packs, I'm in the £700 mark somewhere for 4.5 years of gameplay.
However, if I'd spent £35 (£30 roughly in 2004/£40 on average now)on a game every month (and it used to be more than one a month for me before COH), then I'd have spent a hell of a lot more.
I think it's less a money pit and more of a way to save.
Put that on your boxart!(If we had some) -
I think I just randomly stumbled on it whilst searching for superhero games.
I don't stumble nearly randomly enough around the intarwebs any more -

She was responsible for the Faultline and Hollows revamps, so at the very least she made the doors in the Hollows easier to get to...
No idea if she's responsible for Technician Bloody Naylor though
[/ QUOTE ]
I thought all Naylors were just through that portal right next to him?
No, my gripe is with contacts that send you to nearly EVERY zone in Paragon, especially those ones that are complete swines to get to. Such as Creys, faultline (NEEDS a monorail line!) amongst others.
Horribly planned, IMO.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, it's awkward. Naylor's just annoying for me because he's so far from the hospital... -

You don't know what War Witch does?
All that brilliant dialogue you hear heading around the zones? The door placement (ala Hollows rejig)? That's her. -
Yeah, I'd like to see that.
Remember, plaigirise, plaigirise, plaigirise, but for goodness' sake always call it research!

Because no internet forum would be even remotely interesting without a clash of opinion/fact etc.

Well, you can still have an interesting talk without arguing

No you can't! -

If I pay cash into my account, when can I access it?
If you pay cash into any NatWest branch in the UK before 3.30pm on a working weekday, you'll normally be able to access it the same day.
[/ QUOTE ]
From the NatWest web site.
[/ QUOTE ]
If I pay cash in before, after or exactly on 3.30 then it's likely that I'll get it to my own account there and then, or anyone else who is domiciled at that branch too
Outside of that sort code and the number of delays multiplies depending on whether it's a business account, whether it's a savings/mortgage/credit card account, even depending if it's going to another bank or even a branch just down the road. (assuming we've got any left like that!)
There's cross checking of Bank Giro Credits which is still done manually. There's processing time to punch through a batch system (not real time, not yet anyway).
There's posting time of files to central processing areas, which have to be meticulously checked, lest we end up getting sued for a mistake.
There are a hell of a lot of other nuances, many of which I don't find out about until I'm nearly done with my process/system re-engineering and then someone throws it into the mix at the last second, changing everything.
I hated that guy so much. Sadly, he's no longer with us (he went to work for RBS)
And every single bank has far too much politics and power struggles going on in house for people to want to "simplify" things too much - which makes my job really hard to do.
Trust me folks, a shoebox under the bed is my sound investment tip and I don't even deal with investments (at least until that sort of project rolls up to my door). -
I've spent years working with Bank's clearing processes and I still don't fully understand them.
Our current bank end system still has bits left over from the late 70s that are still required for payments to go through and still require manual intervention.
Internal cash payments in a bank branch will result in payment to accounts in that branch almost instantly (could be 30 seconds, could be two hours).
There will be regulations coming into force over the next 3 years that make it mandatory for payments to go instantly. But right now, my bank, along with all the other UK banks and the EU banks are still arguing those regulations out with our respective FSA's.
This is one of those cases where it simply isn't as simple as it appears. The fact that it does appear simple to an outside party is probably a sign that we are doing our jobs right. But it's a mess behind the scenes. -
The UK bank's are currently working on a payments scheme called Faster Payments - it's clunky - there's a lot of processes which are only designed to run in batch overnight (multiple nights) being changed into real-time transactions.
It's not easy to change, but we're trying (I'm currently working on my organisation's Faster Payments changes). If you thought a financial transaction was a simple thing, then a week working on my project would certainly change your mind! (Or cause your head to explode, yes, that explains the number of contractors we've been through...)

I don't Ghost and I can get very annoyed at those when I do TFs who start yelling "Ghost" as soon as we've started (was especially funny in a mission which clearly said "Defeat All")
I'm playing a superhero or supervillain - I want to stop my enemies from being able to regroup or take information away or I want to pound them into dust to ensure that they know exactly who did this to them or some such.
I don't play for Merits, inf, drops or suchlike - they're just a handy dandy bonus which should be the result of the fun, not the fun thing itself.
That's my personal opinion on the matter anyway and probably explains why I don't TF very often (and if I do, I make sure that there's at least someone I know in the team who feels the same way). -

Awesome - is that the new banhammer? -
I love the prices of some of the Generic IO Recipes in game - I've seen them 10 or 20 times more than they cost to buy it directly from an Invention workstation.
I used to think the people putting them up for sale were crazy to do that... but then I noticed that they were being bought that day, every time.
Laziness and a lack of common sense will beat the economy any day (both here and in the real world). -
