  1. I think it's a terrific idea. I also think it has the potential to give a lot of the RP SGs here on Virtue a chance to get to know each other. Of course, what with real-life being kind of hectic for me and (as a result) my game time being somewhat spotty, the odds of me being able to make such an event are somewhat iffy. But give it a go! Anything that gets RPers a chance to know each other is a good thing.
  2. Action RP, all the way. My ideal are RP missions where there's plenty of time for in-character banter and conversation, with consideration for tactics and strategy. I love Immersive RP but, alas, generally don't have the game time for getting into heavy duty RP arcs and the such.
  3. While the loss of Gemini will be keenly felt by old time members of the RP community, I LOVE the fact that Paragon is changing in some significant way. I only wish the devs had tied this into some kind of massive PVP/Heroes vs. Villains war. How cool would it be if the stuff we did in the game had actual, physical consequences on our game world?

That's my own feeling on the matter. As much as I tend to be pessimistic about changes like this (I'm haunted by images of a horde of bratty Slap-Emoters descending upon us!) I think the only rational thing to do is wait and see how things turn out. Will Virtue become a nightmare of griefers and jerks? Maybe. Will Virtue get a healthy infusion of new and returning blood? Quite possible. Point is, no matter how much back and forth speculation we engage on, no one knows sure.

If Virtue goes to heck and the VIP server becomes the glorious Shangri-La of RP we've always dreamed of, I'll probably leave. However, I think that's the least likely scenario. So me? I'm probably staying put.

    Bad PUGS

    I have a new rule:

If a player contacts me who obviously can't or won't use their "Shift" key, I ignore them completely.

You'd be surprised at how effective this is at weeding out idiots and jerks.
