If you are below the minimum level, you will not be able to do the TF/SF.

Are you sure? I've done the Praetorion one with a 41 scrapper while sk'ed. You can't start it but I think you can be sk'ed into a group doing it. -
Most of the villain classes can be described as hybrids of the hero ATs.
Brute = tank with slightly weaker defense but almost scrapper level damage output. Damage is based on "rage" generated when you attack opponents.
Corrupter = more attack focused defender. Kind of a hybrid blaster/defender.
Dominator = really hard class to describe. I guess you could call them a melee controller. Basically controllers that do insanely high damage at close range. Cause a lot of status effects as well. Have a really powerful innate ability that's charged with damage output (when activated, fully heals, fully refills en, increases all power effects and breaks any holds on you at the same time.) Balanced in that they are extremely fragile. Hybrid scrapper/controller.
Stalker = melee stealth oriented class. Have most of the attack abilities of a scrapper but get bonuses when attacking from stealth. Not as strong as a scrapper outside of stealth but most opponents will not see you. All secondary power pools contain a similar stealth power that you must select.
I haven't played a Widow or Soldier so I can't help there. -
Maybe link it to the ratings of your current arcs?
Once an arc gets played so many times and maintains a 3+ rating you unlock a new slot.
Encourages quality and is automated so the devs don't need to worry about it. -
Seriously? I was under the impression that Recognized was staying unchanged.
I still do plan to finish the arc. I'm surprised it's getting such good feedback for a half completed story. -
TF = hero group mission set
SF = vill group mission set
You get them from contacts as usual. Most do have a minimum and maximum level. You have to be a sidekick/lackey to try them below the minimum. If you're too high level, you automatically get bumped down to the sf's level cap and earn no xp during it. -
Part of the issue is that it is a very top heavy set of abilities. You don't see the real benefits at lower levels that you do with some of the other sets.
I only started playing a month and a half ago and started with a claws/DA scrapper. It was a trial by fire but I haven't really had en issues with any other class after learning how to manage it on Aoko. -
One of my arcs I'm working on has a lot of story but consists of 4-5 very small missions.
Unfortunately, the arc's going to be marked as very long even though it'll take maybe an hour to complete. -
I confess I've done this to people in Steel Canyon, but I honestly thought the xp system was like a lot of MMOs (first hit gets all xp.)
I thought I was helping out lower level players. Oops. -
This is interesting. Thanks for starting the thread as I did not know about this.

Yeah, that's the one. Didn't realize it was only one arc.
Looks like I need to pimp them out a bit more (and finish the half arc that seems to get the high ratings.) -
They've already said that file size isn't the problem.
I think they were planning on having the 3 slots make people actively try and get their arcs into the coveted dev choice area. Unfortunately, there's too much griefing and manipulation of the ratings system for that to work.
Even a way to buy new slots with inf would be fine. You get inf so quickly after level 30 or so that it wouldn't matter too much. -
What they really need to do is change how the rating affects page order.
1) Make 2-5 stars bump an arc up (by differing ammounts) and 1 not affect it. This way good arcs still move up without the griefers being able to drop them down. Good arcs get bumped ahead of ones that are rated poorly.
2) Make it so arcs must be finished to be rated.
2 changes that would fix most of the issues with the system. -
I was wondering how the Recommended badge works.
I currently have 2 published arcs with 20+ votes each that are at 4 star ratings. Is the badge rewards for total number of votes or does the rating come into play?
