Quote:Well, glad I was wrongFar from my intention. But it's almost impossible to deny that a lesbian woman is far more acceptable than a gay man. And it's because of that fact that I say that it wouldn't mean quite as much if it were a woman that were gay. That's not to say we shouldn't have them, I mean, heck, I could already see Ice Mistral or Bobcat filling those roles.
I am in no way stating that a lesbian woman is inferior to a gay man, And I'll thank you to not put words in my mouth that make it seem that way. I can see how you would assume that, but it's just that, an assumption. And not accurate at all. -
Quote:I'm gonna just go out on a limb here and say that maybe implying that gay women count less than a man isn't such a great idea.I would second this, but let's be honest... If they were to do this, it would just end up being a lipstick lesbian. And while I mean no disrespect to them, that's about the most cliche route you can go to represent the LGBT community.
Frankly, I don't think NC has the cajones to make a male NPC openly gay. -

Quote:I'm thinking... smaller mutant creatures that don't (nearly) one-hit you.We already have two islands full of mutant creatures.
Tempest Quay in Pere and The Abyss.
But yes, some kind of Dinosaur island would be great.
That said, I do love the islands off Peregrine Island. -
If the tech ever exists to do this, perhaps a lost island type (like the savage land, jurassic park, etc) or a new time travel zone full of dinosaurs/aliens harassing dinosaurs?
I just want dinosaurs. Oh god, I want dinosaurs. I am willing to wait like, four years for dinosaurs.
Other ideas: Lost island full of cavemen, tarzans, etc, or mutant creatures/people. -

Quote:Lord, that post of yours is vile.I'm sorry, attractive is not a descriptive narrative I'd assign this woman. She reminds me more of some slutty trailer trash streetwalker. She is just nasty.
Okay, my vote for best looking is... actually, Countess Crey for her face and hair. She's like a librarian with a dangerous side. And all the be-suited Crey women like the vigilants. -
This is incredibly awesome, especially with the bonus ring skirt!

Yeah, I'm gonna go with Foreshadow. Cole looks nice, though, and I do like Synapse's costume...
-
Yep. I'd probably rename and re-costume the old one into someone new, though. No deletion.

Hullo!
We complain a lot. -
Quote:Really, sort of a non-sequitur here but reading what you said made me realize why Malaise was doing what he did. It was revenge on Psyche for brainwashing him to be 'good'.Again, what losses has Wade actually taken? Malaise KNEW he was going to die, and did it all specifically so he could take down Sister Psyche in the process. Wade just took advantage of something Malaise already wanted.
I'm sort of embarrassed it took this long for it to just click. -
I'd buy an all male set. But I do make more women characters, so I'm always in favour of more girl pieces and that's what I vote for with my wallet.

Wait, you can't see the buses?
How sad. -

I remember having the gamer-equivalent of PTSD from the Hollows back on my first characters years and years ago. I used to quit teams if there was a mission that led us there (I'd just claim my cat was on fire or something, I at least said bye).
But man, they have made it *so much* nicer. Hospitals in zone, trainer in zone, I have a faster loading time, missions closer to the entrance, phone numbers early, travel powers early. Now I run the missions to keep myself busy when I can't find a time.
Also, it is really pretty now. It was niceish before in the horror days, but the changes they've made look pretty nice. -

Yeah, that zone's being wasted, which is a shame. It's gorgeous.

Quote:My baby cousin's like that. And it works the other way, too; my father was 6'4" tall since he was 12, and I hit 6'5" at 15 and stopped there.
I, however, am stuck at 5'4 and my only comfort is that Wolverine's official height was 5'3...
On the subject of Penelope, except for her height change, I'm not really having much of a problem. I've been treating CoH time as a timey wimey ball anyway, based on whatever I need to be doing at any given moment.
So what I'm saying is no, I don't feel she was eighteen when I met her the first time (I felt she was sixteen) but I can ignore that and just assume enough time has passed.
