Random and I have both of our Exalted toons synced doing the patron arcs. Hopefully we will both be on the same time and get them completed, not that I think I will be up for running two Recluse SF on friday night.

Thank you very much for organising the Wednesday evenings. I really appreciate all the effort both you and Plant go to. I have not been able to get on as many Wednesdays as I would have liked, but will continue to try.

I too have noticed a lack of posting on the forum and in Aus Channel.

Last night's chat (excitement) about the upcoming release of Issue 22 got me thinking of things we could do, so I thought I would post here and see if we could get some ideas before release (so we can get stuck into it straight away!).

• We were thinking of creating a new toon with the new power sets, but unsure of blue or red. I would be happy to make one of each. Never need an excuse to indulge in altitis!
• Crazed mentioned he was in a SG that mainly did TFs. Got me thinking, maybe the new toons we create could just do TF/SFs and Trials?? (maybe some tips/radios, but limited arcs)
• Maybe we could break into pairs and level pact. Even though we would all be a similar lvl if we just do TFs and Trials, someone may be away for some reason and this way they will not fall too far behind.

Just some suggestions, what do you think?

I will be happy to try to get there, haven't got a Master badge yet. Still don't have Lore slotted yet, will that be a problem? Migth be able to get it to at least T1 by next week. I have T3 for the other 3 slots though.

For my male toon, I have just gone with your choices, Plant. Except I made it a long cape.

This is all good news, as I was intending to roll a Time toon anyhow, so the new VG sounds good. I don't RP, but will be happy to tag along and help with the missions and building up the prestige for the VG.

Are there plans for a SG on exalted as well? I suppose I am really a goody-two-shoes at heart.

Going to keep Justice as my main too. (Hoping to join in the weeknight events again soon)

Might make a toon or two on Exalted. Maybe a hero and a villain. I just don't play enough to get bases up and running with me being the only player (my hero base on Justice is coming along very slowly). Will we be putting together a Super Group and Villain Group? I would be keen to join it!

I hear there is going to be a new VIP server in the next release, with the new free-to-play availabliity.

Is anyone thinking of leaving Justice?

Haven't been on much lately and still haven't unlocked all of the incarnate slots for my main and none for my other 50, but thought I would ask around to see if people are happy with their choices. i am sure most of you have them all unlocked and some probably have them kitted out with tier 4s.

This is what I was thinking of doing with my 50 plant/thorn dom

Destiny: Rebirth
Interface: Diagmagnetic
Lore: Clockwork or Warwork (really not sure what is best for this slot)
Judgement: Pyronic <- actually have this slotted to tier 2

I don't have enough merits on some of my toons to try this, so I will go for the random recipe rolls. What range have you had the most success with? I was thinking 30-34.

btw, do you think I am using my AE tickets the best way, by using them for rare salvage?

Also, I quite like running a few tip missions when I first get on. Often I am solo, but I always post in chat in case someone wants to join me. It is a nice easy way to just do a mission or two. I only have a little while some afternoons, and they are usually quite fun missions.

I know there is a dedicated forum for answers to this, but whenever I look there I always feel slightly more confused.

Just wondering what ways you peeps use your Merits and AE Tickets to get the most influence. I have a few old toons that have a few tickets and merits and I want to make as much as I can. I don't have a lot of either, so can't experiment as much as I would like, so I thought I would ask for some suggestions.

AE Tickets: currently I just use them to get the rare salvage but I have heard various people say you are better off rolling for recipes. But I hear so many different opinions on which, like Bronze 10-14, 30-34, 35-39, etc.

Merits: I tend to forget about these, as I don't get to TF/SF as often as I would like. Hopefully that will change with new update. Maybe we can run a few more (fingers crossed). I would like to go for recipe rolls, but as I don't have oodles of merits, it would be nice to hit the best level range for the random roll. Think last time I did a couple it was 30-34. Seem to recall that being OK.

Hero/Villain Merits: I was planning on getting to 20 and getting a purple, but I just don't seem to do enough tip missions to get there. Once again, hopefully will have the opportunity to do more now.

Hi. I am hopeful that someone might be able to help me to get my toons into my own SG/VG. I set both of them up and have been enjoying that part of the game, as I had never set up a base before. The problem is that the players I had join with me seem to have left CoH for the time being, making it very hard/impossible for me to get new toons into my SG/VG. I do have a few people in my VG, but they are infrequent players in a different timezone. I lost control of the VG due to my unctrollable extended absence, but I hope to regain it soon.

What I was wondering, was if anyone who has a hero and villain, they don't play for any reason, would like to "park" them in my SG/VG and shoot me an invite when I have a new toon to recruit. I have crafting facilities in both, so if you have a toon you craft with, that would work out well too. VG has all TPs and SG has access to all TPs with our coalition with SENTINEL (ty Meta )

I know it is a bit to ask, but I would really appreciate it. Hard for the single account player to get own toons in single player SG, but I am sure some of you know that already. Unfortunately I can't justify a second account to do this (actually I have had times lately where I have had to justify a single account for financial reasons, but I can be quite persuasive with myself sometimes).

Just in case some people have noticed my absence, it has been mainly due to the fact my PC broke down (majorly) just before Christmas (2 days into my holiday, boo! ) and took forever to be repaired.

Also, has been a bit of flood bother here in Brisbane, not sure if any of you others know about it as it hasn't been on the TV much lately. My house is fine, as I was around in 1974 and knew it may not be the best idea to but a house in the flood plain of the river. Work on the other hand has been a a case of 1) move stuff, 2) looks like the water is going to be higher than we thought, so go in and move stuff higher, 3) water gone, so move stuff back. So rather knackered anyway.

It would appear I need to re-install City of Heroes after my PC repair, and unfortunately as house is still being renovated, I can't find the CD that has been packed away in a very safe place. So will look as best I can.

As I was offline during holiday period, I didn't get to wish you all Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, so I hope you all did and I also hope to see you in game in the very near future!

Well I like to join any TF/SF that is going, if I can. Unfortunately with the rest of the East Coast having daylight savings, it is a little harder for me to join all the time.

Having said that, I never did get to do the second part of the new positron TF after we did part I a few weeks ago. I would love to get one, or both of my main heroes, the Task Force Commander accolade. My only restriction atm is that my heroes on Justice are levels 35 and 39. A few more TFs should get them up a bit.

So the only TFs I would not like to see run are:

1. New Positron TF, part i
2. Anything that requires minimum level higher than my highest toon

BTW, I think those that run in the TF/SFs frequently, read the forum but don't necessarilly post.

Well I for one am very happy to do Lord Recluse SF or a Treespec (haven't done any of those either).

If we are looking for something else to do I have kept the final mission from Ambassador Kuhr'Rekt, where you have to defeat Valkyrie in 90 minutes. Don't think ther eis a badge or anything that goes with it, but missions suggests getting a team together and it is always fun taking out a Hero.

I may not have understood what is being released in i19, but I assume there will be a few Treespecs run after the release, so everyone can respec their toons.

I was wondering if in the near future we might be able to do a Lord Recluse Strike Force. I have never done one of these before (still quite new to red-side) and I need the Annihilator badge from killing the heroes, so I can get my Marshal accolade.

Actually there are quite a few Strike Forces I haven't done. I know the current motd on Aus Channel states that Wednesday is Strike Force night, so is that still the case?

Still don't have a 50 on Justice yet, but would love to join with my 45 plant/thorn dom. Look forward to running with you guys. Only done a mothership raid a couple of times on Victory. Timezone difference made it difficult, so fortnightly runs sounds good to me.

I have a lvl 8 or 9 scrapper that I am more than happy to bring on Friday night. Just hope I am able to get on this Friday.
