My power blinked last night and it shut my computer and monitor down. When it came back up, my settings for 1440x900 were gone. This happened a few months ago, and I red/l'd my video card drivers, installed and all was good. Well now I can't get it back at all. I redownloaded everything, installed, uninstalled, reinstalled, system restore, uninstall, install. Nothing. It's just not there anymore =/
Now my game looks all funky because its in some weird 12xxbyxxx something weird which I can't remember right now. Anybody have any of this kind of weird randomness?
I have an ATI Radeon X1600/x1650 512mb

I sincerely doubt it, but if they did I'd know it was coming.
Also I'll state without backing it up with ANY facts most of the old MMO's have taken similar just as harsh stances and punishments. Several of them also happen to still be around.
UO, Everquest, just to name the two that leap to mind. Even WoW I beleive.
Also, I'll just say we get new players all the time and leave it at that.

I must say in the past I was never a big forum dweller. But of course with recent events, for a short period of time, it became my life line. So now as I go and explore other parts of the forum, I have to wonder. Why is it that some posts get 'modsmacked', deleted, locked, etc., yes they maybe against the 'rules' but I see SO many others STILL out there. There is one particular post that almost caught my hair on fire. This post is back from February mind you, but in the thread that was started, it talked about a post being deleted, but yet another one being allowed, which as we ALL KNOW is clear violation of rule #4. Yet, that post stayed, its still there, in fact a Moderator in question posted in that forum like he was almost 'friends' with the bunch.
So it makes me wonder, why are some people allowed to break the rules, but others not?
At this moment there is a thread in the CoH/V Life section, that is is very blatantly against rule #4 because he talks about his ban. However, he is kissing the dev's [censored], so will that post be allowed to stay? I'm willing to bet money on it.
