I could be completely wrong, but didn't they do something about poison trap and procs.
(I admit I don't really know poison that well) -
Quote:Please look into this pen like device. Was that really just a typo or did you inadvertently reveal the existence - in the present! - of crude tool-wielding amoebas from the future? And was your subsequent edit actually an edit, or a governmental coverup made to look like an edit? Hmm.
*Zzzzzzzzzap*
Excellent.......... -
It's funny how they make the argument that these ancient carvings don't have native features, yet nobody ever considers they may have just been really bad artists. Give me crude 3000 BC tools and I'd make you think we'd been invaded by ameobas.
(Thanks for the catch, Dark One)

Nothing new really. You can watch Ancient Aliens on History (about 5 times a week) and get the same arguments. I'm not so sure what Julia thinks is so earth shattering about this claim.

I made a Voodoo themed character that is a Mind/Poison controller.

I'd suggest you re-read my post and show me exactly where it was that I need to "chill out". I didn't say anything rude, aggressive or disrespectful.
-
Quote:And yet you wrote this, which actually sounds meaner.*Also, I didn't mean to sounds slightly abusive or whatever with my opening sentence. It could be misconstrued.
I'm not saying you were trying to be rude, but I'm not sure what exactly you meant by this last statement. Especially given how thoughtful and thorough Local is with his advice and comments to people in need around here. His guide is a great resource and I'd never look at it as a "bother". -

I may just have one of those. Will check my storage after work and let you know.
Edit- Whoops, its an Apoc proc not Arma. Sorry about that. -
My volcano themed controller thanks you, Paragon.

They actually had the statistic on the Talking Dead show. If I remember it's 1000 accidental shootings per year in the US and Canada.

Quote:Pretty much how I feel about it as well. Finding her dead would be dramatic, but not near as dramatic as not finding her and then having the group decide how long is "long enough" to search for her and move on.I also think Sophia is dead and that it is perfectly valid to never see her again and never find out her fate. May not be satisfying for the audience, but I think it's much more real. They should eventually move on, always wondering if they did the right thing. "What if we'd waited one more day?"

I don't really have a big issue with either opinion on the TJ debate. I have it on mine and use it, but I also play a combo of melee and ranged (oh yeah and I'm not softcapped and I don't die alot either). But I feel like this debate is kind of missing one point. I hear arguments about softcapping and what does TJ "do for the player". I'd point out it does stuff for your teammates, so even if you think it's impact doesn't help your character that much, don't forget it's impact on your teammates.

That's awesome. Gratz!

Quote:It's not a huge deal, but two applications on a boss with hold them anyway and I personally would rather have a little more acc and damage for the power. LocalMan has some interesting thoughts on the subject. To me I think it makes sense for a non controller/dominator to use this IO. YMMV.I find lockdown +2 mag awesome in char.
My char recharges in under 5 seconds. I can spam it around the board and have a very good chance of holding bosses and EB's in one hit.
To respond to another post: recovery is everything for a fire/storm controller. Both fire control and storm summoning eat endurance like cotton candy. I am toggle heavy though.
And Oedipus, I have the Mu pet on my Ele/Rad and was excited about it's heal. I still haven't noticed him using it yet. Not that he doesn't, just that it's not enough to notice. -
The intention isn't to run hurricane constantly. There are a few times it is nice to use. You can herdicane to a corner then turn it off then go into your attack/control chain. Or if you can get enemies into a dead end, hurricane is nice to crush them against a wall debuffed and dying. It's also nice on incarnate trials, especially the BAF escapee phase. Also as a panic button.
And since you don't have experience with the fire/storm aspect, yes it's that end intense. Storm is one of my favorite powersets as well, and you are right, my defender or corruptor doesn't use near the end my fire/storm does. It's really comparing apples to quinces to be honest. That said, I'll argue heavily that dampened spirits is made for hurricane. Then again I'm a total end Nazi. -
Just found it. Lot's a cool stuff in there. That beehive do' is getting put on somebody tonight.
