No. No, I don't think so.

The subject here is COMMON IOs.

I use this vendoring trick to "nest egg" lowbies. I use it as a "fire and forget", rather than an agressive manner (and I'd make more if I were). As such, most of my lowbies have between 20 and 50 million by the time they hit 20 or so.

At that point, I move on to more profitable niches.

And, in all the time I've been doing it, I have yet to drain the supply.

Were he talking set IOs, I'd be in agreement.

If your argument is "But I'd get it cheaper if you guys let that stuff build up and didn't do this". My reply is "well yeah, but this is not a store".

If you want cheap commons, plan ahead. Use the same strategies the vendor-runners do, bid low and wait. It's quite nearly zero effort. And if you bid stacks and only keep one? Well, the IO pretty much paid for itself at that point.

Dispersion Bubble alone is a non-trivial team buff--not so much for the defense, which isn't huge on its own, as for the mez protection. People who don't play ATs without their own mez protection may not appreciate how much good always-on AoE protection does. That said, the individual bubbles contribute a lot to survivability for most characters. Even if I decided to make a solo build that skipped them, I'd make a second build with them specifically for teaming. I wouldn't kick/yell at/rant about/insult someone who didn't take them for concept reasons, though. (Though I'll admit I might whine a bit in SG chat.)

There's just no telling what goes on in the heads of others. Given some of the encounters I've had in the game, I can tell you that sometimes very little is going on.

Don't take the warning as a disciplinary action. Think of it more as the GMs politely saying, "Hey, just so you know, someone found that offensive. You may want to think twice the next time you want to say something similar to that."

It's not up to you to determine if people can or can't be offended. Just like it's not up to you whether or not a GM gives you a warning.

Many examples of how it could have been seen as offensive were given. If you are expecting a GM to give you the exact reason, then you don't know anything about corporate business.

And why do you assume it has anything to do with the word "gay?" You seem to be pressing it as if YOU known for a fact that it is.

What if anyone of another religion found the comment about "God" offensive. I mean, the game is ruled by the laws of the U.S. You've heard about the separation of Church and State? I'm sure you know that in recent years, public speaking about religious beliefs has been toned down to keep others of a different religion from being offended.

Wait, there's that word again... offended.

Once again, the C O N T E X T of what was said may have been missed. You can either 1.) continue on with a rant that no one but yourself believes in or 2.) drop it, move on, and play the game and learn from your actions.

I suggest going the route of teh 2nd option.
