Hey all, just thought I get afew opinions on which patron I should perhaps go with. Abit about my dom first, its a Plant/Psionic who I fancy using for abit of pvp. However im just really torn on which patron to choose. Im leaning more towards Black Scorpions so that I get poisonous ray which says it does abit of damage but perhaps more importantly/useful is the reducing of resistance to 15% for 30 seconds (I hope I have read that correctly). The only really negative thing I can see is that its armour resistance is alot poorer when compared to others (it offers 11.25% defense whilst others give 20.62%)

The other patron I thought would be useful was Scirocco's who will give me better shield defence and a way of nicking endurance from people. The other patrons just dont seem to be that appealing.

I think whats holding me back is im just not sure how effective say Black Scorpions poisonous ray would be. I would prefer doing teamed pvp. People carry around break frees so whilst my holds might not be able to do much, if I can make them that much easier to hit and kill then I will be able to contribute abit more to a team then say from using a different patron.

Anyway, look forward to seeing some replies/ideas/suggestoins/arguments to my dilema.

.As others have said, Sirens Call be a pretty good place to go - its abit more fun (in my opinion) because you get to use afew more powers than you would say in Bloody Bay.

Statements such as you wont win any are rubbish (especially since you haven't mentioned your AT). I dont see how anyone without ever seeing you play can say you never win. Hopefully you be able to have lots of fights and enjoy them. There is a lot of skilled players about as well as casual people who are there just for abit of a laugh. A lot of the time it can be teamed based so if you are not in a team then you get picked off.

P.S. Dont let anything said in a pvp zone put you off pvp as some people do have a bad attitude and just dont know any better. Do what Bobthedemon would do and if someone is swearing at you, just send a petition .... then kill then

Well been quite week for prestige - it appears that everyone in EVIL is badgehunting or playing on heroes. I suppose the upshot of this is we are gonna be rock hard with there accolades such as demonic.

EVIL Wednesdays is still going strong. However, it might be an idea for those below level 20 wanting to join us to try and catch up. Shouldnt take too long and if you need a team just shout on coalition (and dont forget to pick up manoeuvers in the leadership pool ).

Not only will this make missioning that much easier we will all be able to do some SF's (dont want to turn people away) and maybe abit of teamed pvp in sirens.

Friendly raid requirements are treated are treated as proper raids (i.e. all the stuff mentioned in Kinslayers post). It didnt used to be like that and was quite annoying at first (due to so many supergroups unable to meet the new requirements) but more and more sg's should be reaching the required minimum (which is probably about 4.5 million prestige (im sure someone would be able to give a more accurate figure)).

People forget that if you are lvl 40+ you can go to RV and earn vast amounts of INF from the pillboxes 200k per pillbox or 50k per turret so all in all if you are comitted to your SG this is not really that much of a big deal that you have to hand over inf.
Just think of the glory you can bring to your base and the effectiveness you can create.

Points and laughs - 10% off that would have cost you only 9 mil. That saves you an hour (maybe slight exaggaration) having to click trade button inwhich you could be earning more salvage/inf.

In most cases you havent got a chance but there are afew select ATs and builds which do have a chance. I dont think you would have a chance in hell without them due to AT limitations.

Well i probably see that as being proactive myself. Funny none the less but doing so ensures the sg always has its numbers up.

My empath defender is sitting at lv 35 - ive tried afew times to get into that pvp sg but no one seems to be on when i am.

I think we have to have a meeting some time soon as im sure we have lots of things we can discuss such as starting up (or taking/joining) a hero supergroup.

I wouldnt say over rated - for early pvp they are very forgiving - anyone can pratically be the roxxor and it is that what fuels all the egos. Haha I got you, i rock you suck - just because you couldnt see me makes that kill the best ever. High level pvp makes life for the stalker much much harder due to many more + perception powers. However, good players will be able to adapt and still cause you trouble.

Hehe Death, im the one in this story that said we are unfortuantly full and that I have a word with afew of our coalition . Also wouldnt really say we high consuming, its just that we free up space by taking out an alt we aint currently using.

Hey, yeah i believe it was me you spoke. Ive not had the chance to speak to the few I would think that be suitable for yourself.

I guess just posting to let you know not forgotten about you and also to let others know im not losing my knack of responding first to people wanting a sg .

Dont see why not - I dont think we will be running lots of them to be honest (no more than twice a week). It looks like Mondays are a good for us so may also try and add a Saturday run sometime so others dont miss out (those that got strict parents or busy evening schedules etc).

As for the secondary sets, Super Strength, Energy Melee, Stone Melee, Battle Axe all have plus points which make them good, just depends how you wanna play and if you are going to be part of a team or solo.

What plus points does battle axe have? Im trying to see it but I just cant.

EM for burst damage and SS for sustainability is how I see it.

My INV/SS has crazy damage and hits harder than my scrappers.
