You notice you've not been kicked for ages (but to guarantee it just make sure you log you toon in once every 2 weeks).

Im trying to hold back kicking those that our taking a break/moved to WoW until I8 hits and more importantly (I hope its in with I8) global based accounts which mean any alts still count as one meaning we would have alot more space .

I notice lag has been quite inactive .....

There are loads of ways but I think the get dead villain body, get out shivans, activate vengeance, charge works well enough.

Well its probably more to do with patience and determination. A lot of ppl just seem to give up when the going gets tough because they so used to things being so easy. This observation is mainly based on what I hear from others that try organising them and fail

May get back into them but can be sooooooo annoying and really leave you on a downer. I also think the novelty has worn off too which doesn't help.

I think the problem of not knowing the people who join you is surfacing once again. Lack of knowledge, reliability and what is needed/expected makes organising a successful RSF very difficult and one of the reasons I stopped doing them.

I know it went a head (I woke up late) but dont know the outcome.

I hate to see what Dr Death be like in that. The amount of time he puts into CoX he probably have one of the strongest toons possible. I have to ask him sometime why he prefers this as WoW surely be a grinders game of choice.

Oh and im back in game so no doubt be a kicking spree tonight (quite afew inactives over 15 days).

Not sure if can make it yet (not back on computer yet but hopefully tonight fingers crossed).

As you should be fully aware I have at my disposal 1 x thermal corruptor and 1 x SR stalker with snipe which could lend a hand.

If I ever get organised I get us to make a post (in our forums) about what they are up to etc. Maybe an idea to get xfire again (ive still got it) because the issues we all once had seem to be resolved. It mean be able to see whose WoWing and send messages to them when I think they are fighting so they die .

Unless you got a weird bug the energy curtain will not combine with the turbine generator. You can put it above it but all its doing is looking pretty.

Well that planned backfired. Tried just reinstalling windows XP to no avail so formated C drive, put programs back on and went to have a look at my other drive and it came up with "this drive isnt formated, would you like to".

So now lost everything and waiting for my Collectors Edition of CoX (save on having to download). Even sadder news is quite afew of the supergroup are now on WoW. I dont think I do a list as it probably really depress me as quite afew of them have been part of EVIL for a very long time.

I be looking to see what the situation is when get back on online and to recruit and just generally stop people leaving. Whats the point of being an overlord if got no one to smite?

You already get a warning. It pops up when you enter the zone. That's all you need.

Also giving a warning to someone thats not interested in pvping is only going to result in them running to a safezone (or something similar).

It is a joke but you can make up some rules (not ideal but do the job).

One that I have used after the first through skirmishes to keep it interesting is to allow them to set up. As soon as one of them attacks or tries anything funny (such as setting up a pylon) its game on. However, still there is always one that moan because a defence attacked them but im not gonna tell my defences off .

Yes can be good in pvp but as mentioned there are many powers which make a doms life a misery. People have access to break frees and its not uncommon to see people leave a zone to restock so can fight some more without having to worry about being held. Quite afew AT's have quite a high mez protection meaning you have to get a number of your holds (stacking them) so you break through it.

You also have empaths dishing out clear mind making getting a hold extremly hard. Villains do get access to similar thing such as a thermal corruptors thaw but as you have noted, most of the time its just brutes, stalkers and a couple of mms for good measure in a pvp zone.

Arena pvp is also difficult as a dom tends to be the number one target due to its squishyness and also its annoyance (holding ppl etc). Thus you find yourself being ganked and not much you can really do if you havent got a decent team helping you (can be 3 shotted quite easily). Sounds really encouraging I know but thought best let you know what lies ahead.

For me dominators are the most challenging for villain and hero pvp. Most other ATs are fairly forgiving but for a dominator, one slip up tends to be the end of you. You are very squishy and lack alot of punch compared to everyone else. Fitting everything you want into your build is also very tough so you probably have to give it alot of thought.

Is there a particular reason why you want a dominator for pvp? If its because someone told you they are the bestest then may need to reconsider. To me they are quite a challenge to play ( in the sense of playing well) and if you want something that is alot more easier to play then you probably best of with something else.

Im not saying dominators cannot cut it but I cannot emphasise that it can be very tough but also very rewarding. If you pvp already you probably already know this as you dont see many dominators dancing on and around your enemies corpse .

I say that mind/psy is a solid choice. Mind is very strong with many control powers such as confuse and telekinesis. One of the advantages of psy is not many ATs have resistance to it and it has to be one of the quickest sets for building up domination aka god mode .

The more observant of you may notice not been on much of late. *grumbles* damn computer giving me some jip. So undecided on the course of action I shall partake. Tempted to go out and buy an external harddrive, copy some stuff over and then say bye bye and format the bugger.

Hopefully my issues would have been sorted by the end of the weekend. Hopefully things are alright in my brief absence. I know more ppl are off playing WoW which sucks so much. Im really counting on I8 making supergroups global account based to free up space so can keep those who are currently inactive in the supergroup.

Its all very well getting it a news item put up but the easiest thing to do is just spread the word between those you know. Most people belong to a supergroup and its not hard to say in coalition chat that there is going to be a big event in recluse victory and leave an annoucement in a supergroup message of the day etc.

Think alot of hereos forgot about this as they were outnumbered and outgunned at the start. Still managed to have some nice fights which raged long into the night. Had to switch sides for abit until numbers evened themselves out but have to say was a good atmosphere with no baiting etc so very enjoyable .

It would be hell with more. I had a big rumble against The Super Union and was like a slide show. Think hamidon raid with powers taking forever to activate etc .... still managed to have fun though.

Aye stay tuned EVIL for a competition I am going to do. It probably be on Sunday (been so busy so not been able to post details). Lets just say its in your best interest to attend .

So just a quick thanks for everything. Those in EVIL past and present have helped establish us as a top supergroup. Not sure about anyone else but you guys and gals have made the game great for me and would like to thank everyone for that.

Im afraid not. Only those the overlord has given permission to can pay rent. You just have to wait for one of them to come online and pay it (if they have funds to do so).

If none of the leaders come online you have to wait for the auto demotion to kick in until it makes one of the actives leader (default is 15 days inactivity and it demote leader).

More pvp events for all lvls would be nice, as a "casual" pvp (Only 4+ hours per dayish in pvp) I would like to take part in more pvp events, but as I have no hero near lvl 50 (and point blank refuse to pay to use the test server) Im kinda left in the cold.

The few arena tournements I have been in were fun once we got past the random crashes and clunky system ,but in the end I found that I had a better pvp experience in the zones ( pointlessly easy wins are no fun for me :P).

The big SC event with Bridger and Rockjaw was ok..I guess..
I got a bit annoyed with the lag, but then so did everyone.

I do think the devs should be alot more proactive and have some mini competitions which help get more people interested.

There are lots of events that go on but I guess it lacks an audience as people miss them. For example this Sunday several villain groups have banded together to invade Sirens Call. The week before there was a warburg send off to Kinslayer (leaving the game). Thus its not all level 50 stuff.

The arena has so much potential but they seem to be very lackluster and not make any improvements to it as its on the bottom of there list of things to do.

Dont forget the Sirens Call invasion this Sunday at 8pm. Everyone over lv 20 is welcome to help smack in some heroes. There should be plenty of villains about so be nice to have a good turnout from us.

Also my dominator finally managed to hit 50 so no doubt be making an apperance to be ganked over and over again in style this Sunday. Have to say one of the teams had in awhile - double domination for the win! Didnt quite ding on the vindicators mish but never mind.

Also may have noticed afew people now leaving the game but definetly saddened by Kinslayers and Black Jon Bludd leaving the game.

Also Dr Death has managed to make 1 million prestige in 5 days so by my calculations we could be 65 million up by next week. Come on guys and gals .

Probably some sort of blaster. Depending on what kind of style you want to play (and if you want to pvp) will decide the outcome of what particualar blaster you should be.
