  1. If we hadnt set up an alt sg ourselves then it would have been a great opportunity for us. As it is I dont think we would be able to spend the time needed to do your sg justice. I was hoping someone would relish the opportunity of having an already established base and take you up on your offer.
  2. The lure of the AES was too much and I have gone out and installed one in our base. Its bloody HUGE and solves any control issues you may have! Takes a hell of alot power to run it though (you probably needed two power supplies thus a secure plot).

    Its a shame you have come to that decision. Dont know too many controversial characters as yourself but have enjoyed my time knowing you. I know your love for the game had dwindled although thought may have gotten past that as you seemed to have a renewed vigour of late.

    It is quite sad as have done quite alot for the union villain community. Gonna remember some of the early days very fondly indeed as have seen and gone through so much. Im sure your legacy will live on and I am sure this wont be the end of you (the temptation of popping back will surely be too much). Bru, not to sure if should change the global name for this reason but if Death is confident he wont be back then what can you do (I think I change it to something less personal like Violator).

    I wish you Dr Death and the new leadership the very best of luck. If you ever want a chat or to know how things are going then give me a shout. I look forward to sending you off in style, take care.

    Hi there Stamgren, I see what I can do. I shall be on abit later.

    The PvP thing is in Sirens Call and the Superteam starts tonight. Internet playing up at the mo (being really slow) so crossing fingers it sorts itself out for later.
  5. It could be classed as a problem as it does limit your effectiveness. Cant say its very great as almost every other blast set has something to offer.

    I think the reason for not seeing much knockback in pvp is the fact that most people have protection in the form of acrobatics (or there own inbuilt version such as practise brawler, unyielding etc).

    Nah we took off stealth so both could see each other, just couldnt get the final blow in. Was good fun though (think that match went on for 3/4 hours with the stalker fight lasting about 45 mins ).

    Had a couple of good nites of late so keep it up. Several new people have joined us now so got a number of low lvs with us. Coalition chat seems to be so quiet I do wonder about how well the other supergroups are doing.

    Just a reminder that this Sunday is the Superteam. A global channel for this has been setup and is called Superteam.

    As tempting as it is you often miss out. Its not always as bad as people make it out to be and its easy to ignore. I quite like reading abit of banter between the heros and villains. You also find a lot of the time the villains/heroes telling you where to go for a little organised fight/skirmish. Each to there own but I find it ever so boring without the reactions and compliments.

    Rent is worked out on what you earn so selling stuff wont affect how much we pay e.g. have base worth 50,000 and sell half of it. You be charged for the 25,000 (base worth) and the 25,000 in your spending kitty.

    Wont be kicking all the 50's as some of us still play them. Looking at moving the ones that are just gathering dust into the rejects. It only be a request so if the person says no then wont be moving them (well at this stage anyway).

    Sad to say but the devs have decided to take away all items of power. They have seemed to change there mind on supergroups keeping them until fixed. Now means have to wait till the trial is fixed. Thus have to be abit less reckless now .

    Our Superteam will be starting this coming Sunday. Details can be found in the corruptor section of the official boards and our forums. Have to say looking forward to it as have managed to capture quite abit of interest.

    I have been tidying up the supergroup again to make room for others wanting to join us. Very pushed for space and think may have to move out some of our resident 50s. I wish the devs would let us know when we can expect global based accounts to go live (a rough date would be great).

    Ummmm one last thing, we have hit over 30 million prestige in total so a big grats to us all. Its quite an achievement which has cemented our position as number 2 top earner on union (behind the Violators). Quite afew villain supergroups are trying to catch us up (The Council and Nirvana) and have closed the gap but as long as we are all enjoying the game I dont want to worry about that.

    You may have missed it but Mini Nukette will be running the coach potato badge mission tonight.

    Description
    The European Villainous Immorality League (EVIL) is not so much a supergroup as a Super recruitment agency. EVIL exists to put the Criminal Mastermind in touch with potential henchmen, find cash strapped criminals jobs to do, and allow potential employers access to a pull of meta-powered individuals who don't mind being contracted for morally dubious work. We do not attempt to govern our contacts every move, many would be most upset if we were to even try, but we do insist they follow a few simple rules, and we do work as a team.

    As far as I know we are currently the largest Active Roleplaying Villain Supergroup on Union. We have a Webpage here where you can check out out details.

    We have regular roleplaying events including parties, training days and monthly meetings. We hosted the successful Mercenary's Ball which we hope to make a regular event in Port Oakes and we have numerous ongoing RP plots as well as new plots starting all the time. We have close ties to a hero group, which has allowed us to run a number of crossover events.

  18. You aint the only one. There was a supergroup created called EVIL (not the same as my one) which roleplayed. They have a website and im sure if you look in the villain recruitment thread you will be able to read up all about them.

    If 2 people can take on say 10 people from my sg then I might as well quit now. I do remember your corruptor teams and was a laugh but 2 people wont dominate a zone .... well not one im in

    The thing lacking is communication normally and having someone just telling people what to do (or who to get) is all that is missing. My opinion is villains are underpowered compared to heroes but not by that much. It must be a defiant thing because not seen anything like that on union (2 heroes or villains dominating a zone) and I have spent just a tiny amount of time in the pvp zones (ok I admit it, I have spent lots of time in there).

    A lot of the time (back then) most villains were noobish, didnt work together and were generally cannon fodder. Most of the usual pvp'ers remained on heroes so you were fighting those that hadn't the skills or the knowledge. So wish you tried to do that on union as there was no way in hell you would have gotten away with it as for some reason there was a fair bit of quality around.

    I still wouldn't class skilled people gankers if they are fighting superior numbers. That is skill and pwnage and calling them gankers is an insult to them really. However Im sure they be used to being called everything under the sun and im sure it wouldnt affect them (just make them enjoy slaughtering them again).

    I personally cant think of an ultimate team of villains that the EU test servers pvp'ers couldn't deal with. Infact I go as far as to say that the best team of villains would struggle against a semi decent team of heroes. But hey that's where the fun is, in the challenge right?

    Afaik You cant beat a villain team without Rad/psi's. They have too much resistance for anything else. Its cause people dont buff.

    P.S. Yes kicked [censored] but also know how I would deal with it.

    P.S.S. Also in terms of balance I tend to look at in pentad way (1 of each AT in the team). Rightly or wrongly thats just how I look at it.

    Well im sure opinion would be quite divided on the matter. However I would class zone pvp as a different kettle of fish to arena and so the results will vary to some degree.

    The problem(s) I see for the villain team is there hit points. Almost more of them are what I would class as squishy and can be taken out in no time at all by a team of heroes that know what they are doing.

    With regards to your team that destroyed a 5 man hero team, I can believe that. I have done the same with a small corrupter team and of late in union warburg they been getting a small taste of it. However one vital ingredient that was missing from the team you destroyed is a good empath. Having one of these tends to make life a real misery as the tables start to turn. Not saying its impossible but I bet there be a hell of a difference in the ease of taking out them heroes;

    Anyway getting slightly distracted, as stated before things are not equal at the moment. One way as others and yourself have mentioned to help solve it is to make thaw more in line with clear mind - its crying out more for fear resistance then the need for added perception. I wouldn't complain if they added perception to forge either. The recent buff to thermals heal warmth has made a significant difference to survivability of that particular AT which is good.

    I wish this ultimate villain team was formed just to see how it handled. Would be great to see it in action and just how well it functioned.
