Enjoyed that bit of late nite pvp. Think I def prefer 3 vs 3 to the carnage of 8 vs 8.

I think you find it very hard going to find big numbers to oppose you such as 8 vs 8 but good luck. When you have got your villains up I can probably help arrange some fights but I am sure you get fed up facing the same old faces.

Ok then folks, some nice weekend action last week. This Sunday 23/09/07 we shall be having a little sg rumble with the Dirty Hand Prints. It is a bit of fun so all are welcome including heroes. I suppose a lot depends on how many turn up but im sure will be a good laugh. Try to get to Pocket D before 7 PM so can get a bit organised. Would probably be a good idea to send me a global tell if this is something you can make (@Max Powerz).

Looks like the momentum of this is slowing down. Im sure defiant and union would have enough villains that would be interested still. What about the other 2 servers, would some villain action interest them?

Well sounds interesting. Not many pvp sgs about and the members you have got should make you some force. You know we have quite a few pvper's in EVIL so am looking forward to taking you lot down.

Are all those in your sg 50 already? I wouldn't mind at some stage trying to get some people to try give you a run for your money.

Also would you lot when you got things together be up for some base raiding? We have a nice base perfectly designed for raiding and no one willing to attack us.

I think we have got it to a T thesedays it doesn't really matter to much on the set up.

Just general chatting in the supergroup but it seems once again people are struggling to get teams. As said before I will be looking to get improve our coalitions but also I feel we need to make another effort to try get some toons roughly the same level (as we are quite disjointed with everyone at different levels). Currently I am looking to level up a low level villain (lv 16/17 at the moment). There are a few around this level so if you have something that level and want to join an experienced team that like to have a laugh then give us a shout.

It has also been noted that people's coffers are looking a bit dry at the moment so I will be setting up this Friday a kind of farming team just to make things easier. We have lots of level 50s so should be able to cope with those a couple levels short of that. Will probably dish out some cash to help support other villains that are feeling the hardships of trying to IO up whilst still contribute to the supergroup.

I also need to speak to Mime Artist again and sort out this supergroup rumble. And I think I fancy playing kill the overlord again .

Well obviously not gonna be able to have mixed teams but is there much interest from villain players anyway? Would it be possible to have a mini villain rumble?

Whilst a lot of points Hammerfall has said rings true, I would expect some very strong pentad teams and then the rest. I would still find it fun playing this lot (if was a beginner) and seeing how far can progess. Whilst they might not expect to win, they can expect to still have fun .

I try pop on tonight if I can and sort out an invite. Still trying to catch a few people in EVIL to discuss some other coalitions. Im hoping to try get it so we running sg teams again all the time so people get the chance to experience the debt fest, *cough* I mean fun as we haven't really been running to many of late (damn pvp distracting me). Depending on interest it might be a good idea to resurrect something like EVIL Wednesday (could be any day though) where all meet up and team on an alt. I shall gauge interest and if its there run a poll on our website to work out most convenient day.

Oh and was really happy this weekend as Blackbone (was a previous overlord) popped back to our game. So yay and welcome back home .

I don't know about that - if got everyone in should be able to hold our own (a number of EVIL were on there heroes try to pick on us). I remember the mass sirens battle we had against Super Union which was one of my favorite zonal battles as was epic.

Aye got to love how things spiral out of control. At one stage there were hardly any heroes meaning some nice little battles and duo's. Suddenly like a swarm of locust the poor villains were inundated so tried to rally some more. Was having some great fun even though the heroes were blatantly cheating moving around and using insp . Sort of fizzeled out quite quickly when lost some of our support villains but up till then was very enjoyable. Hopefully some more spontaneous late night pvp .

It's atleast a steady 500% increase in price on Union compared to other servers to make it rough.

Yes i know prices go up on demand and everyone sells higher to get more more to buy more expensive recipes and so in continue in a vicious circle

Here's an example: Luck of the Gambler 50 mill, [censored]? i've bought this for 2 mill on other servers.

Ahh well enough bickering from me as it prolly won't help but would encourge ppl to start bidding lower to get rid of these outrages prices.

Ps. only Union villain side seem to be affected, my hero on Union have no problem getting what he wants.

Right then where to start as most of this rant is just plain wrong. You might be right about certain prices but as pointed out the auction house is linked so your view that its union prices that are heavily inflated is clearly wrong. Stating that you checked the other servers is thus a blatant lie to start with which makes your rant totally inaccurate!!!

Prices have risen on certain recipes whilst fallen on others. Sure luck of the gambler costs millions now but you find costume drops are now cheap as chips when compared to what they were going for. Its all to do with supply and demand. Something that is in high demand would more then likely thus go for a much higher price then something not in demand. If someones put something for a riduculous price you don't have to buy it.

On a side note Heroes and Villains markets are separate which means heroes have got a better deal due to villains not having as many TF's meaning lower amount of recipes when compared to heroes. Also there are more heroes then villains meaning greater supply.

Don't think anything too exciting has been happening of late although we have gotten a few new members which is good. We tried to get a base raid going the weekend gone but don't seem like anyone wanted a challenge. I think it has been awhile since we had an arena battle so I think I speak to a few of the other supergroups and see if we can get a rumble going. Hopefully more details to follow soon ...

Umm... you sneak up on your enemy. Build Up + AS then follow up with Placate OR just use your powerfullest attack = Target Dead. Sounds pretty easy to me. Or is that because I have 1337 PvP skillz dat killz?

And how would being in an Arena be a different? All that has changed is the fact you're confined to a small amount of space depending on the map. Also, I beat my friend's Spines / Dark Scrapper. Yes... that's Spines / Dark. FYI two PBAoE Damage Auras which removed Hide as I went close. I basically had to slug it out and this was before I properly Respec'd my Stalker. And the Spines / Dark player is a damn good player especially in PvP. So I guess since I pwned her, those other things which would "pwn a stalker" in an arena don't require zero skill to play.

Have to agree with Zaldor (oh noes) about stalkers can be challenging. It all depends on whats about but stalkers in arena tend to be a free kill to the opposition once revealed. Anyway its going off topic, pvp stalker ... well ultimatly depends on type of pvp and level you fancy. Em/Nin is very good nice overall for PvP. However if it is high level pvp you are really after such as say RV then an EM/Regen be very good due to survivability with all them heals. All stalkers have advantages and disadvantages and all of them should be pvp viable (yes even claws ).

Yeah was lots of fun. Must have been over 40+ and at late evening too. Was impressive especially as it switched between heroes and villains. I can only imagine the carnage if that was in warburg lol.

Pretty good weekend (managed to get a good session in on Sunday) .

Nice to see everything running smoothly whilst not as active as usual. SG events wise we managed to run the lady grey tf again which was fun (apart from trying to find missing person to escort). I think we all got rubbish recipes though. Then helped out on mothership before massive rumble in sirens call. It has been an age since been there but was good fun. Over 40 players in there made the late night pvp very interesting. As all support toons disappeared we brought out our stalkers to try and give us some chance. Felt quite bad as was really getting into my ruthless pvp streak and evilly (is that a word) massacred poor mothers love. Did feel a bit of guilt when killed him and just stayed next to him waiting for him to rez back up (had a funny feeling he do it - surely a sign of a good stalker instincts ). Was defintely a good nite especially as hadn't really done any stalker death squads for awhile.

Also I feel that its probably not worth continuing with some of our coalitions as they hardly seem to serve a purpose as never hear anything from them. Therefore will looking out to replace the dead ones with some hopefully nice active ones. Can leave any suggestions below or shout me in game.

For some reason I was under the impression that the level of the IO had an impact thus a lv 49 stealth IO wouldn't work in warburg. Thanks for clearing things up .

Would that still be the case for a numina IO (unique one). If I slotted a lv 50 into health would it be giving me that extra regen?

Just a heads up but it seems quite a few people from EVIL seem to be moving house or having pc issues. As such I believe we maybe quieter then usual so that be why you might see a number of inactives not being kicked. Off the top of my head that is Sam the Shrubbery, Max Khaos, B.A, Nitro, Lost (whose toon is lost in limbo I think), Doc Devious, Hook the Crook and a couple more I cant think of.

So as you can see just a few not about of late. Hopefully won't suffer too much but its just a temporary thing.
