Sad to see another familiar face leave the game. Although tended to stop really doing any leveling have very fond memories of pvping with you and holding off hordes of heroes in Warburg. Good luck with everything and maybe see you around (can still chat to any of us in our forums if we don't catch you in any other games).

Im sure we would still give it ago against your villains. Doesn't have to be an all corruptor fight, you can mix it up with what ever you want.

I also suggest you do this ASAP as it seems that the game is losing lots of great pvp'ers (to real life and other games/beta's).

Have to say I enjoyed hunting down Blaps and giving him what he wanted (a challenge) .

Indeed the maximum you can have is 2 teams of 8 which is a total of 16. I haven't had a raid that big in a very long time but when did was very laggy and buggy.

Well its been really busy of late. Lots of activity which is always great to see. On the good news front our base defenses are great fun to watch in action. Had a mini raid and they nuked anyone that was silly enough to get near them.

Also a number of us managed to complete the Lord Recluse Strike Force on max difficulty (no deaths, no temps etc) so we have a lovely shiny badge. I think we all got some nice pics but here's one for your viewing pleasure of the Triumphant 8. Those on union's first successful RSF were:

On more sadder news Dr Infernum has decided not to renew his subs. Apparently all the times I have beaten up has finally gotten to him (as well as his damn XBox 360). He went out in style in the mass sirens call battle and then old skool style on the warburg dualing roof. Take care buddy, will miss you (although not enough to get myself an Xbox ).

I say they were either popping purples or you were very unlucky (or they were cheeky and had used a tier 9). Most of the blasters I know don't have any problems hitting stalkers.

I play a Super Reflex stalker and can get horribly maimed and I am suppose to have good defence lol. I think you initial reaction was just knee jerk as I don't think anyone has missed me 9 times without me being buffed or using elude.

Energy for the win!!! I think I would put sonic ahead of fire. I don't think I have fought many ice thermals but it ultimately depends on what kind of pvp you want e.g. zone, arena, dualing etc.

Quite a few of us have been really close and I believe can be done with various team set ups but you do have to be organised. The last run we did was fairly gutting as was so close and then statesman got a lucky hit in (you still owe me for predicting it be you KS ).

I would say warburg is more balanced then RV though although I be happy with any .

Its a good question and one I have poundered about as well. I think the bigger sgs will defintely prosper (I know my one is already). However I don't see it as doom and gloom for smaller sgs as it has always been that way.

For EVIL it has allowed us to invite more peoples alts into the main supergroup instead of our alt sg or someone elses sg. I will defintely be keeping the alt supergroup as it potentially has many benefits.

I know for one we are not on a recruitment drive as I fear having a massive recruitment session will have more negative consequences then postive. You won't be able to get to know your new members as well as you could have and there is a good chance you would lose your sg identity (in my opinion). However popping on and seeing a hive of activity is always great.

For us we just taking it easy, anyone that wants to join can do (not having to worry about space constraints for the time being is great). I would imagine the bigger supergroups will potentially be able to earn more prestige by having even more members. I like to point out you don't need a big supergroup to have an uber sg. Its the quality and not quantity .

You do realise stealth works no matter its level. For example slotting a lv 49 celerity in sprint would work in Sirens and Warburg (as long as the power is active and available). The only real reason for having such low ones is so you can get set bonus's active at that particuar level.

Must say its great having so many people on although everyone seems to be getting them purples (think im gonna make a loss on mine, damn my greed).

How much you think it would cost to kit all that out?

Just going back to your earlier comments I hope what has been said hasn't put you off. You say you know what you are doing but surely you must think why are people saying "its you" and stalkers don't need nerfing? A lot of people have tried to point some helpful hints and some simple errors you are doing but in the majority of cases I think you are just ignoring them. Unless you are prepared to reevaluate your tactics I don't think you and your friends will change your mind (or your luck with stalkers).

Well had another lv 50 ding, this time Tabitha made the big 50 (her first of hopefully many on villains ) so big grats.

I think the game is about to get interesting with a few developments going on but nows not the time or place to discuss such top secret matters.

I am looking forward to the release of I11 and hopefully a large dose of villain activity. With new power sets I imagine there will be lots of new alts created and people returning to see whats new (and woot sg capacity increased so should be able to accomodate them). We shall be recruiting so if you do wish to join EVIL let me know in game or by posting.

Oh and Dirties have made 2nd place (cures ) in prestige charts so think its about time we get in gear and make sure they don't get any more ground on us.

Well they could have got some damage from anyone else in the zone. Could be engaging against a scrapper/blaster (enter any other AT) and stalker times his attack. You know that you have been caught by stalkers before ...
