Anyone know how to swap out the login screen on a Mac? The Statescrotch image is basically keeping me from playing the game right now. Must. Go. Scour. Eyeballs.

Thanks, all. I think I'm going to make a Street Justice/Ninjitsu stalker and wait for Staff Fighting to start my first brute (and first willpower) alt.

Okay, I'm planning to start a brute and a stalker soon (two archetypes I haven't played) and have been saving up paragon points to buy Staff Fighting when it comes out, and get Street Justice. I was thinking of doing a willpower brute and a ninjitsu stalker (powersets I haven't played). So:

Option A:
Staff Fighting/Ninjitsu Stalker
Street Justice/Willpower Brute

Option B:
Staff Fighting/Willpower Brute
Street Justice/Ninjitsu Stalker

What do you think would be more fun?

I don't know much about redraws, redundancies, etc., so I thought I'd post here.

Okay. So I'll use the 50s where I actually want maximum defense and 25s when I just want the recharge bonus.

Got some hero merits and am ready to get my first "Luck of the Gambler: Defense/Increased Recharge Speed."

I'm only going to use this on my own level 50 character. Is there any reason NOT to craft it at level 50?

Maybe "stupid" is the wrong word. I feel blind because I can't run Mids.

Is this an Armageddon-ready power or a Hecatomb?

I've got a level 50 ice/mace/pyre tanker I'm getting ready to outfit with IOs for the first time (going to be a VIP for a few months).

Me wants better baseball bat.

It would be fun to have a goal of Armageddon/Hecatomb for Whirling Mace and Crowd Control for starters but I'm not clear on whether Crowd Control is AoE or Melee.

I realize this is going to cost a bazillion inf, but I'm pretty good at mowing down +4/8 missions with just SOs. Do chime in if this is a stupid goal, though.

Please. No reason for it to be VIP. I enjoy playing the game on a Mac, but am more of a $5 a month player than a $15 a month player. I think it deserves open access, since some general questions can be answered/organized there much better than the main forum.

What's the best way (as a Premium, if that matters) to make a suggestion to the developers?

I think it would be smart for the Mac Users forum to be open to premiums, like this forum is.

I'm planning to get some low-cost months by buying new retail boxes.

Is there a certain order I can/can't apply them? Someone was kind enough to mention that I shouldn't apply City of Villains: Collector's Edition before City of Villains. But If I did something like

Going Rogue
City of Villains
Architect
City of Villains: Collector's Edition

would all four work? I started with the base game retail box back in 2004 and that's the only box code I've applied to the game. Going out of chronological order would let me play in Praetoria as a premium if I lapsed for a little while between subscription months.
