There is no 'em slapreact', AFAIK.

Nope, no SlapReact at all!
As to the OP question, you can indded chain /petsay commands. Your particular requirement there would be...
/macro slp "petsayname <name> <em slap>$$petsayname <name> <em slapreact>"
... enjoy! -
Don't worry - I will be making sure the reminders are out there - and hoping Bridger has this tagged as a monthly event soonest (I did email him, but I think the internet swallowed it!)
-
Next month, last Saturday of the month!
-
Mace Mastery > Web Envelope actually has a taunt effect built in to it (to ensure you get some aggro, since its otherwise damage-less) that I have used to act as a Taunt-lite under certain circumstances.
I guess you can be a party meatshield as a Bots/FF but I wouldn't recommend it against anything that is AoE heavy like Sin says. If you have to, then ensure you direct the AoE's away from your pets (by standing off to one side, or hovering a good distance above them). -
If you are wanting to create a character in this vein, you're actually wanting to create a Corruptor. The only reason I can see for using a Mastermind AT to achieve this is if you want to use a Primary/Secondary combination not available to Corruptors (Pistols, Forcefields, etc.)
I'd only ever do it purely for concept though. -
It is doable - check our US Counterparts' Mastermind Ironman Challenge
Of course, its in the same sort of league as all Power Pool builds. Hard to do, and only really an intellectual exercise. -
Nope - I'm going to be there this month as well as subsequent! I'm sure not everyone will be non-stop grinding and if you can't make this month, well there is always next!

Arranging that on coming saturday may not be best of ideas because of the double xp weekend.. Most PVPers are propably PLing day and night.
[/ QUOTE ]
More than likely, but then this is going to be a regular event and I needed to arrange it for a time that I can consistantly make.
I'm not a hardcore PvPer and I hope that some non-regular PvPers turn up as well! Hence the weekend timing, for higher volumes of potential players.
Last time I spammed Arena/Global a bit with some updates on the fight, a few incharacter taunts, etc. and it seemed to go down well!
Plus, everyone can afford an hour or two out from a bit of PL for some fun (because you better believe I'll be trying to grind my last few levels to 50 on MZ!) -
I've already run a Recluses Victory event on Defiant in the past that went well and as a result am organising a monthly bash at it (RV Saturday, last saturday of the month) on Defiant.
A weekly one is too much for my tastes, but if people want to give it a go then good on them! -
As you exit your latest heroic escapade, you hear a noise both familiar and unfamiliar - the hailing signal of your PPD Police Scanner, with a strange static overlay.
Bringing the device out, its hologram-field displays a crazed-white haired scientist who appears to be addressing an audience. In the background is a portrait of the hated Lord Recluse.
You listen closely...

[[ Signal Source Confirmed: Rogue Isles ]]
The foul machinations of the Heroes of Paragon City are afoot - planning to thwart Lord Recluse's plans in the far flung future we call Recluse's Victory.
In order to secure our glorious leaders' future we must be concerted in our efforts to secure the Temporal Bunkers. As such, Black Scorpion has tasked Arachnos Research and Development to oragnise!
Who is Needed?
We need all villains above the Threat Level of 40 to muster to Grandville just before 1400hrs GMT to form a counter offensive. They must not be allowed to stop Lord Recluses' dominance of the future.
Repulse the heroes! Show them what true "villains" can do. For those of you of a more mercanary bent, there are other benefits of fighting in this zone - if we fight well, and earn our Temporal Points to Lord Recluse's satisfaction you will be given access to an Arachnos Mini-Blaster. These are smaller versions of the formidable war machines fielded in RV.
Event Summary
Zone: Recluse's Victory
Restrictions: 40+
Time: 1400 GMT
Date: Last Saturday of EVERY Month
So, fight for what you believe in - the ascendancy of Arachnos or your own profit - but whatever you do, destroy those heroes!
In the name of science!

Aghast, you call up your contacts and fellow superheroes - these villains must not be allowed to overun the future! You and your friends must be ready to face the oncoming tide of darkness. -

Master Zaprobo -
This was similar to a monthly event I was planning late last year - RV Saturday, last Saturday of every month on Defiant.
I still need to sit down and draft the invite for the Heroes and Villains forums
Good luck setting up a weekly session though!
EDIT: Have now set up the invite posts in the Defiant forums. -
Very professional, despite the multiple deaths
(I admit it, once I died on purpose to use the Holiday Rez's Nuke ability!)
Anyone who hasn't done this SF, please do - it has a chain of the best instanced maps in the game -
Fire me in as a reserve - Master Zaprobo (L46 Robo/FF MM) - since this is the last SF I need bar the LRSF
-
Perhaps a slot for knockback for the assault bot, knockback can really help...
I don't want mobs knocked out of the burn patches from the Incendiary Missiles if I can at all help it
Perhaps a slot for endurance reduction in hover since you'll be running alot of toggles without fitness.
Hover has absolutely minimal endurance use - slotting it isn't at all efficient. Even with the toggles I regularly run I still gain endurance.
Why an attack? at high levels attacks for mastermidns are pants, only get you aggro, the only reason to get atacks for masterminds is speeding up leveling in the early levels.
Part-concept, part the fact I still actively use my attack even at L46. Handy for finishing off a lone mob, while your bots switch to a larger group to make better use of their AoE. Hell, I even use my Ghost Slaying Axe Vet Reward -
Since I've invited a new batch of Masterminds to join us, this may be of use to some of you
-
For comparison, here is my current planned respec build (for when I hit L47 and need to sell all my Enhancements to fund the purchase of 50's)...

- Do I need fitness?
Only if you don't slot for EndRdx or take a lot of extra toggles you want to run all the time (I run Assault, Tactics, Dispersion, Scorpion Shield, and Hover. More than that).
- Do I need leadership?
No, but I recommend it in general for a bare minimum of the Perception increase.
- Do I need medicine?
No, but it is nice for a frequent heal.
- Should I get repair instead of medicine?
Why instead of? I have both and each have their place (Repair is not interruptible and has a better range that Aid Other)
- How should I manage my bots ? (eg. stances, attackin etc.)
To be honest, 80% of the time I use around three commands...
Defensive stance with the Follow command (to activate Bodyguard)
Attack My Target command (to direct attacks)
Passive stance (to move around with bots out so they don't aggro anything)
Its only certain circumstance that I start to get fancy. Use my Modern Mastermind Control set and you have all the flexibility you ever need (I also have two binds on my mouse, one for Attack and one for Defensive/Follow)
- Any macros that would help?
Lots! But just create them as you need them. I tried setting up a full suite before I began my MM, but found most of them useless later down the line.
Macro up the things you do in gameplay, not what others do! -
I'd be up for all decorative items to be no more than double-digit cost, and 100 at maximum for special decorative stuff like the hologrammatic meeting tables.
No need to impose real costs for them, when they don't do much and would means less "bare bones" bases all round. -
I had a watch, and apart from some issue with the demofile where there was too much bubble spam (it seemed to parse the power recharges and damage done as local chat) it was an interesting watch.
Cheers! -
So long as I'm around, give me a yell
Always up for bashing pseudo-heroes!

Was a good bit of clean villainous fun! Shame I forgot to take any screenshots for my Journal.

Picking up the TV Guide, Master Zaprobo smiled - all his favourite shows were on today. And tomorrow. And the repeats the day after? Perfect, everything he missed from the last week.
Slightly disturbed, the old man fell back onto the sofa next to the entranced Bane Spider and Freakshow Tank. "I...", he shook his head, "...something is wrong, I feel... odd".
"Shhh", hissed the Crey Agent, "it's back on!"
Master Z smiled as opening the titles for the X-Files came up on the screen, all other thoughts flew out of his head. "At least the Television is Good", the white-haired Professor thought to himself as he hummed along. -
PvP for Bots/FF is a tricky subject. My build is a balanced one, and performs well in team-based PvP but does fall over miserably one-on-one (well, against a hero PvP spec).
My original design plan called for core powers for PvP to be available pre-Sirens Call level cap (Tactics being a major requirement) and then to round off as we reach Warburg level (Force Bubble).
The core of a FF Build is defense. In PvP the bubbles are not so important for your henchmen as most people will ignore them and go for you directly (unless they notice you using Bodyguard).
Your key powers for PvP are Dispersion Bubble, Force Bubble, Personal Force Field, Detention Field and Force Bolt. Your key targets are Controllers, Blasters and Khelds - anything with ranged offense to burst through your mobile bunker.
Any Pool Powers are extra benefits. Certainly you may want to get Aid Self in at some point - allowing you to turtle in PFF and heal if things get too rough.
As to your mobile bunker... Dispersion Bubble and Force Bubble are your friend. I also like to hover above ground level to avoid super-speeders who can kite you through Force Bubble. Move slow, keep your bots inside the bubbles as well.
Don't be afraid to use "Attack my Target" as well as "Defensive/Follow" (for Bodyguard). You can switch them back supremely quickly if you have to. Be careful for TP Foe armed Device Blasters who will try to pull you into a Trip Mine ambush.
All the advice I have for this, I guess! Good luck!
