Has anyone noticed the insects that scuttle around you when u use powers from the necro set?

I thought we were meant to get IR goggles when in control of sirens? We took it about 6 hours ago and still no goggles.

Although i dated the thread, i'm gonna be there every night (and some days) i can till we take the zone back from those nasty nasty villains :P
Not sure about tonight though, got IRL stuff to do.

I assume cloak of fear terrorizes you. I cant remember being terrorized any more than usual. Near the start I went for breakfrees to stop that sort of malarky anyway :P

Villains had control of sirens already and were defending the zone.

Hi shaman. we teamed last night, i was playing as docbot. I havent been on today but from what you said it sounds like we didnt manage to get the zone back after i left. Ah well, something to look forward to tonight.

Easily one of the best nights i've had in a pvp zone, and i was lucky enough to be there from the start. The zone started out pretty lightly populated with each side taking turns to be outnumbered. For me, things started heating up when we (the heroes) decided to try and take the zone back so we could get the temp powers (we were getting kicked around too easy at the time). Once that happened the zone just kept getting busyer with everyone fighting over the hotspots. Anywho, just wanted to say it was a good night and i hope there are more of them. Unless something unexpected happens, i'll be back there tonight, prolly around 9ish till bedtime.

Building your own stalker is the best way i've found to come up with a counter strategy. I highly recommend it to anyone who has cov and the patience/time to get to lvl 15 or more.

I hadnt actually noticed this until today. I spotted a stalker coming towards me then quickly dissapear. Looks more like some sort of bug than a feature.

Hang on, u mean defenders get bigger perception bonuses from tactics? I wasnt aware of that and it might explain why i'm seeing so many stalkers since taking tactics. (and enjoying my new hobby of "stalker spooking"). Would the perception bonus be high enough to see stalkers with both hide+stealth running? How about players with invis?

Obviously i'm biased, but giving defenders a really good chance to see stalkers would be a good balancing strategy. We can see them, but we usually dont hit hard enough to kill anything anyway. So, team with someone who hits harder but cant see them.

I can see a time where absolutly everyone takes invis from the concealment pool then we can all complain that we cant see anyone in the game :P

I agree there isnt a better MM, after all, its not the car, its the driver.

Having played mostly a defender before, i play my mastermind (necro/dark) almost exactly the same way. In fact, on some missions when my pets die i get so occupied "defending", i dont get around to making new pets till we clear the current threat.

I'm thinking of taking "tesla cage" and "short circuit" and dropping "flight" and prolly "hover" as well. This will leave me without a travel power but with with kinetics i'm thinking i can get away with that. The fear powers in the presence pool look useful as well, mostly in pvp though.
Does anyone have any experience with these powers they wouldnt mind sharing? pve and pvp.

I agree 100% with you concerning griefers, but what's the difference between ganking and team play? Often i've teamed with stalkers simply because there are no other AT's playing in the zone.

But why not get a special 'Paragon Heroes' or 'Rogue Island Villains' Museum of Fame, where every lvl 50 (and only lvl 50) can request (NPC interaction like SG-registering) a small statue in one of the many big halls, including a description you write personally.
Have some NPC citizens (or small groups) walk along the statues. Maybe even let them say a few good words as they look at a statue.

Maybe to give lvl 50's something to do, we can start with a bit of a naff statue, then get special lvl 50 only missions and storylines which open up new materials and poses once completed. You could have marble, stone, bronze, gold, etc.

Was fun, wish i'd made people pose for screenshots though before giving them a clue

freezing rain
hurricane

I'm interested in the slow effects of the storm set and, wonder if its possible to use hurricane to round mobs up into freezing rain/damage dealers.

If i beat someone down to a sliver of health of course I dont so much want them to stand there and wait for the finishing blow, I want to get the finish blow in before they run away. I certainly wouldnt stand around waiting for defeat unless it was an agreed fight to the death.

With my defender, hate fighting everything.
With my stalker, hate fighting controllers.

I'd rather have my statue in atlas park or something

Get another attack in instead of typing insults?
Tryed stacking caltrops for slow and using them?

If your getting outnumbered try finding some people to team with.
I looked at your powersets, maybe the "consume" and "combustion" powers would help if you have them. Also, i THINK the "intimiadate" and "invoke panic" powers might help you hold stalkers in place once they AS and become visible. Again, I cant be certain, maybe someone with these powers can clear it up. I dont mind helping you test on my stalker.

I know what you mean about cockyness, its the number one thing that either puts me off PvP, or enrages me so much I work harder at it and smash the guys chops in. ahem..

Slightly OT, i remember an old PK game where some guy basically bullied me all the time (he was about twice my size and kept kicking me out the areas I was bashing in). Anywho, he stopped playing for about 6 months, gave me time to get bigger than him
