I will make sure with the individual forums.
Thank you!
This is my last post on these forums. I have enjoyed all the banter over the years.
It has been a pleasure meeting and teaming with so many great people in Paragon & Rogue Island. No doubt our paths will cross again.
I will be playing until City Hall goes dark.
Cheers and Good Hunting!

Thank you for your replies.
They have been helpful.
The other part is it ok to use my "other game" signature on another's games forum? I would basically have 2 sigs. 1 for the game I'm playing, and 1 for City memorium. The HiJinks one below.
Cheers -
I have a question I've been pondering for a few days.
On other forums of games I enjoy, every once in awhile there will be a thread started about how long (insert game here) will last.
The replies vary of course. However, the majority tend to say the game is doing well with new updates and expansions on the way. It will be awhile before the game shuts down.
Don't worry about it.
My first thought was to reply with my current signature in remembrance to City of Heroes. Without actually stating it, I would like people to remember (or learn) the sudden, unexpected sunset of City. Maybe with a link to an unbiased article?
I would in no way disrepect whatever game it is. I am, after all, enjoying the game myself. I just want to remind people to have fun in their game, warts and all. It is here, right now.
This is a memorium to a major part of my life, now gone.
I am not on social networks. I would not knowingly spread gossip or bash NCsoft, etc. in any way.
I'm not very practiced in forum ettiquete.
Would this be inappropiate? A better way to express it? A dumb idea?
I ask for your objective help in this matter.
Cheers and Thanks -
Quote:My laptop is about 5 yrs old, and runs it fine with medium settings. I was really and VERY pleasantly surprised. I do have to keep a fan constantly on my laptop though, as the game runs my card HOT!Well, darn. I ran the requirements analyzer, and it told me:
Sigh. My pc is only about 2 years old, too.
Nvidia GeForce 8600M GS
Give it a shot.

I bow deeply to you for helping us become the community we are today. All of the hard work you've done to make this the most awesome game I have ever loved.

So if I make and name a character of a pet that I own, making it the same color, same markings and it really resembles my pet. NCsoft now owns my pet and can come after me if my pet wins in a showing with a monetary prize? Pictures of my pet will be everywhere for the win. Silly example I know, but perhaps possible.
Other question for clarification (all this legal talk makes my head spin), I can use my characters names for profit as long as they look (a little?) different. I wouldn't use the costume of course, but the skin color tone is the same and has the same style mustache, NCsoft can come after me? What if I use a face on a new toon I create (not ever on CoH) that is the same without my knowledge? With all the creator options to change body parts, how do I know?
Where is the line?
If I use a CoH made charater just for personal awesome memories, they don't care?
I think of all the videos people have made and posted over the years. If a part of one gets used in a commercial or whatever, without the persons knowledge, NCsoft will be after you?
Sorry for the wall of text, and the questions. I'm just trying to understand.
Cheers!

Quote:Not necessarily! When you're designing characters in Architect Entertainment, you have the option to load your character's current appearance (but not their powers or powersets). All you'd need to do is start a new mission or create a new enemy group, choose to make a custom enemy or contact, and load her in the character creator.
I will mess with AE again for my other.
Edit:
*Got what you meant and loaded self. LOL, the only thing that hasn't changed are my gloves and glasses! Ah well, will take me awhile to even see if the parts are still there.*
Luckily, HiJinks II files I was able to find.
Just sent. I sure hope I made it in time.
Cheers!

Quote:Excellent, I will try this. Thanks!Try using the Architect Entertainment mission editor! You won't be able to customize your powers this way, but you have a LOT more access to costume options if you unlocked them from AE. You can also save the costume designs you make there as files, just like at the Tailor or character creation screens.

I have never used the AE editor. From what I could tell, I would need to completely remake my character. I just want to save her currently. She is an older one, and unfortunately I have been unable to locate my 8 year old files. I hope they didn't get lost between all the computer transfers over the years. Didn't mean to derail the thread. Sorry guys. I just really want to get in on this. -
Bloody tailor tells me parts are invalid. Guess no saving there.
I think I have them on my other drive.
I know where the costume files are.
Where is the powers file?
Do I send a screenshot?
Cheers!

Thanks for that Angelus.
It made me cry.....again. -
I didn't realize that on "Who Will Die" arc, the "next" button shows and explains what's happining in GC. I just hit enter. That is until the third mission of Part 1, when I got curious about what happens when I hit "next" button.
I wanted to see what I missed, but on my next toon to run it, only "enter" was available. Anyone know if this is WAI? If so, it's unfortunate not to have the choice again. Especially for others who may not know or want to see it again just because.
I /bugged it anyway.
Cheers
EDIT: I got my answer when I made a new toon. I didn't miss a thing. Sorry, false alarm.
