  1. Like most I would like to be able to kick leaders who no longer play CoH. Having a hero in the group that hasn't been on for over 130 days is kinda ridiculous.

    More Ranks would help in that too... Would be nice to have a promoting rank that can't kick and a master rank who can kick the Boss ranks.

    Unique Chest symbols for SGs are a good idea. The SG costume is nice, but it wouldn't always fit with every SG theme... Though I would like to see unique costume peices availale to SG memebrs (could be earned through this or that...). That causes problems when a member leaves or is kicked from the group though...

    SG PvP events are planned I know (Base invasion/protection), but let's get some SG PvE going as well.

    I would't mind seeing a SG regristy at City Hall, were someone can look up SGs on the server... that way new characters can find a home easier. It would have to be truncated to SGs of a certain size or something (No need to list endless 1 member groups) or even make being listed voluntary, in which case various stats on the SG could also be added.

  3. There is a trick to get around that, however. It has to do with how the movement commands work (+forward,, +up, +left, etc.), Basicly that the game does when you type in a bind, say:

    /bind w "+forward$$powerexec_name hover$$powexec_name fly"

    The game handles it as such:

    Press the key: it executes "+forward$$powerexec_name hover$$powexec_name fly"
    When you release the key, it executes: "powerexec_name hover$$powexec_name fly"

    If that second half changes, then it executes that command instead. Look back to my last post to see how I used this to make a single key activate two powers by using the +down command.

    Actually I think it looks like a good plan (the non-renaming ones I mean). I am a bit concerned on the Story Arc = non-soloable part with the "team-up required" UI coming later. Will story arcs be distinctly labeled as such so there is no mistaking it there (some already are, I know, with the "this may be the start of something bigger" tag)?

  11. After comming across a request from a FF defender for a bind that would notify a player that he was about to receive FF shields and then use bothe Deflection and Insulation Fields on him, I devised the following binds.
    It was tested and it does work! Just use any two click powers in place of Defleion Shield and Insulation Shield to see for yourself.

    Well, you can't activate two powers at the same time, but there is a trick to using on then queueing up another. you will have to make two files:

    Deflect.txt

    <key> is the key you want to attach the macro to.
    <message> is the message you want to display(remeber to use specify the channel)
    <path name> is the full path name to the two files (C:\... whatever...\)

    Just type in
    /bind_load_file <path name>Deflect.txt
    And you should be good to go. You will have to hold the button down for a split second for it to work (a quick tap will often only acttivate one power and not queue the second one). Also note if you are using hover/fly and are in the air at the time you use it, you will be moving down for that second you hold the key.
  12. The toggleon/toggleoff is better then I expected!

    Not only will it allow you to make one key for all your toggle activations, but you can make a true "toggle" key! Try this one out:

    /bind w "+forward$$powexec_toggleon Sprint$$powexec_toggleoff Sprint"

    this will result in you running forward with Sprinit turning on... when you release the key, sprint turns off!

    Jumpers and superspeeders now have an equivilant to
    "+forward$$powexec_name Fly$$powexec_name Hover"

    They've said othetr Epic ATs will be unlocked in other ways.. not just lvl 50.

    Heh.. I would guess the Skill system and the arena would be out in I4... Though I would love to see new powersets and costume options... and anything to make Staminia less important...

    Not sure cuz i've not seen it in-game, but based on what we know, i'd say no. With the invisibility powers you can't have a power active that effects other players. Also mist is a toggle and i think with phase shifts you can't have any toggle powers up. Again i'm surmising from the information that's been thrown down already.

    Phase Shift will not work with Steamy mists, but you can have other toggles on.
    Any toggles you do have on, however, (hurricane, for example) will lose all effectiveness ouside of yourself (movement powers, for exemple, would not loose anything). If Steamy Mists could be used with Phase Shift, then it would do nothing but give you double stealth (the same reason Steamy Mists will not work with Stealth). You would have for Def and Res bonus, but since you can't be hit when Phase Shifted, it would matter little. Your teammates would get nothing from it, even if they are inside the graphical repesentation of the power.

    Heh.. never thought Statesman would reply to something I said.. not the type of response I was hoping to get if he ever did...

    I could have sworn I read a post that you were trying to get the arena up for issue 3... heh, oh well.. my memory is far from perfect!
