Hello! For those that don’t know the real me, or visited my CoHFaces, my name is Marcus. I’m 22 years old and live in Plano, Texas. Have a degree in pastry arts and spend my nights working as a bread baker from 2-10 am.

I got this game after much pestering from my friend Travis, who used to play this game as @General Winter, and only after moving from PA to TX about 4 years ago I decided to give it a go since I was pretty bored. So I went with Triumph since he told me that is where his main toon was, and thus my journey here began. The game itself is awesome and merited keeping it a few months, but the real draw here was all the awesome people I met on Triumph that really made me want to stick around and play more.

So a year goes by and I’m still enjoying the game, and I happen to bump into this really awesome person in Atlas named Kay Parfait, she just started playing about 2 months ago and we quickly got to talking more and more and became friends. Her name is Kristina and lives in Nebraska going to school for photography.

Fast forward another year and this shy quiet guy decides to pursue this young lady further and one day in early November asks about going steady, and to his surprise she felt the same way he did. And it was great, being able to talk almost everyday, getting to learn so much about each other. We talked about visiting each other that March after my birthday, going to Europe together with her Mom’s class, visiting in July when I had a vacation from work. Unfortunately for us all these plans kept being smashed before us for a variety of reasons. Mostly due to her parents going through a much needed divorce so they could get away from her Dad. Then Europe Trip got canceled cause not enough were going. Then after that they were moving into their new place and getting all settled in. 10 long months roll by and we’re absolutely losing it not being able to see one another.

So finally after getting all moved in, scored away with her Mom about visiting, and MUCH excruciating waiting last Thursday, September 24th I drove 10 hours up to Nebraska to see her. Let me tell you, it was everything we ever imagined. An instant connection that I just felt the moment I saw her face to face, to the moment I held her in my arms, to the moment our lips first touched. The next 5 days we hardly let go of each other spending nearly 80% of the time on her bed just snuggling one another. Pure magic is the only way I can describe it, and I knew this was the girl I wanted to be with the rest of my life. I love her so much. =D

So why tell you this tale, other than I want to freaking shout on top of the highest mountains how much I love this girl and want the world to know. Because it’s the awesome people of Triumph that made this possible in the first place. If you guys hadn’t been so helpful and funny and had awesome parties/events and so many great vet players I would never had stuck with this game, let alone this server which led me to her. So I want to thank everybody from Triumph so much for being as awesome as you are (especially Syndralina and Pride), from the older players that have been here forever, to newer ones I’ve just met recently and every single one in between, if I was your friend in game, or you just know of me, or hell even if you don’t like me! =P

It's deffinetly a different beast compared to CoH, which i'll deffinetly still be playing until the inevitable shutting of the doors. This is a nice change of pace since it feels more like an action game to me. $15 a month for that though? It'll hafta do something pretty amazing between level 7 and...whatever the cap is to get that out of me. When 14 day trials come deffinetly get it just to make characters though, it's what I love about CoH and it's just as awesome there.

I wasn't really bored, as much as saw it for $30 at Wal-Mart and figure for that much i'll give it a shot for a month. Only played maybe 2 hours and made a pretty awesome guy with the unique costume parts over there that I couldn't here, I mean he's a freaking shark!

Anybody over there trying out Champions too so I could pal around, I hate solo'n which is why I doubt this game will get renewed come end of my free month baring massive friends joining me and seeing what the "High level" content is like. So far it's amusing enough!

Woooo 10 points! Yeah, pretty much 80% of the stuff in my music library is pre-90's. It's really the best music, classic rock. New bands today just can't compete with Foreigner, Journey, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Boston, Cheap Trick, ect.

Already got names saved for my 3 new toons, and even made the costumes at tailor on toons I already got so their saved and will take 10 seconds to make new toon. They would be;

Rainbolt - Storm/Elec (with every blast a different color of the rainbow)
Starchaser - Rad/Fire Blaster (with golden themed blasts and such)
Tacticool - Traps/Ice Defender

After this thread started I went into my iTunes and just listed the song titles alphabetically and found some interesting and cool names that should deffinetly be used for toons if they're not already. I narrowed it down to one per letter. (this took a while since I have 11,000+ songs)

Your a level 50 Warshade and need to be explained that you have Recall Friend as an inherit power, and have since LEVEL 1! (sadly, true story)

I'm a big Aquabats fan and that CD is their best by far! After listening to lots of classic rock and metal I decided to make a musical themed toon and somehow got the name Les Paul, he's a Willpower/Axe Tanker level 41 at the moment, I should push him to 50 already. My buddy who no longer plays sadly had a toon named Flying V to duo with him.

On a side note, a number of my toons names/looks we're taken from Hentai's >.>

Oddly enough the most productive Double XP Weekend i've had yet. Got a toon from 42 to 50 by doing TFs all day Friday (2nd Respec, 3rd Respec, ITF) ending with a LGTF where 6 people dinged 50. Then on Saturday got a toon from 40 to 50 by doing the same thing (Dr. Q, 3rd Respec) also ending with a LGTF where 7 people dinged 50. It was pretty epic feeling both nights! =D
