I was in there again late last night after spending almost 3 hours in a mission that was bugged on my Dominator.
Prev ASed me and I didn't even know who it was I had to ask. -
Gulag was on my team though we were working independent of each other for most of the time. Of course this is when DB and Arctus and the rest of the Watchguardians had logged off.

I was on my spines Scrapper in Sirens last night and was having fun trying to kill stalkers. I say try because if I could catch them I could get them easily but usually Id get a shot or two on them and they would run off and vanish. Only got killed once at a hotspot where I think I was ASed by two at once because one wont kill me. Did get Quason once because he was lingering over a fallen teammate too long. I pity the villain that gets my scrapper as a bounty because chances are I will be ont he list for a long time.

Man I saw this when I first Picked up a bow in COH.
It is agreat for defenders with TA though. This is why my Archer is a Fender! -
What about powers that debuff an enemies damage out put such as Fulcrum Shift and Siphon Power? Were these types of powers touched?

Manticore I have two questions:
1) Will we ever learn what happened to Hero 1 and the heros that went with him to the Rikti home world? I mean its too good of a story for them not to have survived in some manner.
2) Will we be seeing CoH missions that involve the COV AVs such as Mako, Ghost Widow, and gasp Recluse? That would be some nice upper game content. -

I just don't see how useful this can be. In the early game it can be useful because you go red it doesn't necessarily mean you are going to die. In the upper game it just isnt enough. I died trying to test it.
I made my life as a blaster avoiding damage. I think we should keep the cap and just raise Blaster Base Damage a bit. This would be a start but finishing it would mean tweeking both primary (speeds in some sets)and secondaries (utility in some sets) as ive proposed multiple times.
You can have the HP boost back if you do this. -

Me personally? I don't. Other blasters might want both, and I don't begrudge them that. For those that want bonesmasher, are you willing to take away bonesmasher and give them total focus at level 10, and call it even? Cause the people that took bonesmasher, I don't think they are going to be happy with "we took away bonesmasher, but don't worry, in 28 levels you can still have total focus."

Talk about overpowered and unfair to other blaster secondaries.
Total Focus is what a level 38 power should be. I say give the other sets somethign similar at least have magnitude to neutralize a boss in one application. -

Stop talking about the damage caps: no one cares. Neither class is going to hit it without 400 fulcrum shifts.
Instead of bickering about scrappers like children, what you should be doing is verbally hitting States on the damned nose with a six-slotted rolled up newspaper for his "melee attacks are fine" garbage. Yes, ONE melee attack is fine, not SIX. A heavy damage attack like TF is fine and good: A low damage melee attack like frozen fists is nothing short of retarded.
Here's a hint: until those minor melee attacks are replaced, blasters aren't fixed.

Those "low damage" melee attacks still do more damage than some of the primary blasts.
What is supposed to differentiate Scrapper and Blaster Damage? Scrappers already do more single target damage when you factor in criticals + the fact they do it safer and have less down time.
Is it AOEs? Energy, Ice and Electricity are not AOE blasters. They are single target. They have AOEs but they arent as powerful as say Fire who is AOE. AR has AOE and its pretty good but thats 2 of the 5 that could be considered AOE. The final nuke doesn't justify it because of its high cost and in Inferno and Nova its danger factor. Blizzard is more situational than even them. Full Auto and Thunderous Blast have more utility. I woudl not shed a tear if they made Nova and Inferno Ranged but brought it in line with FA and TB.
Fact is as an Energy/Energy blaster to compete as a single target killer with a scrapper I have to use my melee attacks. I liek using them its fun but many don't and they shouldnt be forced to use them just to be damage kings this AT was originally set up to be. -

Really that is were you use your brain. Kill the ones that sleep and mezz first (not all of them do).
Even then it takes quite a bit for white con minions to even take a blaster down. -

What? Bah ha ha ha. If you cant take 3 white mobs easily no matter what AT you are you have serious game playing issues. Hell 4 of my attacks can one shot a white minion. -

IMHO, keep power Thrust and Bonesmasher, kill off the other three and give more support powers. If you must keep another melee then keep Stun. Energy Punch doesn't do enough, with stun you get a better chance to disorient and therefore survival is improved.
I know I'll catch alot of flack for saying to off Total Focus. This is a great power, but I feel that the final power in a support powerset should be th ultimate in support not the ultimate in melee.

theres a few disposable powers in /fire /elec and /ice that could easily be replaced with status protection (hot feet, thunder clap, whatever that PBAOE toggle slow is in ice.) It is harder to find disposable powers in /energy and /devices.
personally I think the blappers would be upset with losing their melee attacks. not everyone plays ranged blasters. Elec/Elcec especially.

I would say add mez protection to Conserve Power and then come up with a similar power in all sets. -

Secondaries:
Devices - Very cool and very fun set. The devices all mesh with the way a blaster plays very well and combined use of them allows for some great gameplay. Most fun set for blasters IMO.
Every other set - Faaar too many melee powers and powers that are fairly mundane or do not compliment a blaster's style of play well at all. Having a fire sword is not blasting. Consider giving blasters some weak sauce defender and controller powers in these sets to make them able to be more versatile and still maintain their role as RANGED attackers.
2 primaries could use minor adjustments, but the secondaries are all kind of meh except for Devices.

Energy in some ways outshines Devices. In fact they are fairly close to being the same.
Melee attacks are not a bad thing. I love mine. I know how to use them. But there is something missing to go along with those attacks. Energy gets close to that with Build Up, Power Boost, Boost Range and Conserve Power actual useful buffs that make the blaster better.
