With the Tech Knight set coming and all I was faced with this issue again. We ether need a 3rd color on the lets or have a leg detail slot added.
If you notice that both of these are two colored. The tubes with lights on the chest are a chest detail color-able separately from the chest.
While you could have the armor part of the chest matching the coloring of the metal part of the chest detail, while the fabric part a 3rd different color, you are left with the lacking legs. The legs have both the fabric and the lights on the same secondary color. If you are going for a coherent set, you need to decided to restrict to two colors or deal with the non-matching top and bottom leaving the base connecting fabric at odds, or about ditching the lights on the legs.
So there are two changes to the options that can fix this.
1. Have a leg detail option so that the tubes and lights of the legs can be colored separately.
2. Add a 3rd color.
I don't care ether way. Adding another costume slot would be great, adding multiple new options like knee pads and other items. While the 3rd color option might be a good step for other costume parts else where on the body.
So what do you think?
I know some of you might think this is never going to happen, but I think we already know that, I ask if you could please leave that to yourselves, it is not going to help anyone. -
I just checked beta and they have removed the celestial set from the costume options, so my guess they are going to be changing this on or by i24.

Quote:Yeah, I just got word of it, awaiting implementation now. Is it on test or beta yet?Ascension, no word that I've heard. Celestial... you're a couple weeks late to the party. It's been discussed in Dink's All Things Art thread for a while, and the coloring issues on it were resolved almost a week ago.
-
Quote:Not sure about Ascension but Celestial supposedly has already got a fix that's pending for an upcoming patch. *shrugs*
OMG that looks incredible! Is that issue 24?
TY -
I really truely love the apperances of these two sets, but getting them to match anything else is just horrific. I am a fan of black and/or maroon armor but these sets literally make these impossible.
Am I alone on this? Anyone have any tips on how to get around this? Any word on fixing these sets to have alternate color options?
Thank you,
MCM -
Am I the only one here who has gotten fed up with the Celestial Armor and Ascension set colorings?
The Celestial is the worse, as the color is nothing but a slight hue change which makes using it as a full set almost mandatory if you use any of it in an armor appearance set. Any color change to the armor itself boarder-line non-existent.
The Ascension set is a bit better, but not by much. You still get very off colors sometimes with a slight blue ting to them.
So what I am asking for is to add a new setting for these costume parts to allow for easier matching with each other and future armor sets that might come out. So we can have rich and full colored armor! I would love to see some demonic reds and blacks, some angelic whites, yellows, and blues! Maybe some aquatic greens, or shadowy purples.
So who is with me? -
Quote:Not sure why, but you picked up one with shield over Physical Perfection. This set isn't as bad as axe/shield but it drains very fast, and one with shield isn't that good of a power really from what I can tell. Also why hack over slash? Could you explain? Here, I made this for you.

Quote:So a mix of Tank and DPS? Sigh.BS/Shield has a good synergy in that Parry can really make your defenses solid while AAO boots your offense.
A particularly nice aspect of Broadsword is that, in addition to decent AoE from Slice and Whirling Sword (backed up in this case by Shield Charge), it has three very strong single-target attacks, because Hack is unusally hard-hitting for a low-tier attack. This makes a very nice Hack/Disembowel/Headsplitter chain. It does have a stately pace, but it just destroys a single target.
No problem with skipping movement power and One With The Shield, but you ought to hang on to Grant Cover, as it helps your Defense Debuff resistance.
So what sort of IOs should I look into and for what? Cost is of no effect really.
This really is too complicated for me. -
Thanks, I hadn't started a build yet because I wanted to know what the highest focus for them was. So tank/taunting is the biggest draw, cycling parry probably is a big boon to that.
As to my P.S. Yeah the presence abilities was mostly just concept.
Thank You, I will give a build a try when I get the time.

I was just wondering what points does this combination excelled at?
DPS, Tank, what?
If you know and have a build please share, I got a BS/SD up to 50 and would like to optimize it.
Thank you
P.S. I was sort of thinking about skipping a transportation power, shield other, and one with shield; and going the Presence power tree. On the other hand IF it is best at DPS I would be very happy as that is my favorite. These are just thoughts. In the end I want to be the best I can at something appropriate for the combination. Inf is of no concern I am rich. -
Quote:Total Recall sort of started the entire "Bourne Identity" genre.Anyone else see it yet?
The story felt like The Bourne Identity or The Long Kiss Goodnight, but in a sci-fi setting. There were essentially no twists to the story, and worst of all: NO KUATO!
I did learn that in the future we will drink Heineken from futuristic bottles and all music will be dubstep. -
Are these still in beta? Where? I can't seem to find them.
-
Just curious, why did you choose option C over option A rocket packs? From the voting it seemed like that LARGE portion of the players wanted option A and almost none wanted C.
-
Chest Details don't seem to be working for me. The chest and pants don't work ether. Maybe I am just having trouble finding them.
-
Quote:I just kept laughing every time they berried someone who had died and didn't take proper precautions to keep them turning.I knew it too, but they threw a lot more than that revelation in there. Shane gets killed Rick AND Carl! And then throw a full scale zombie invasion in there for the finale!
P.S. I think I know why the walkers are herding on the roads. When they died, there were on route somewhere. When they turned they continued the route, but back and forth over and over again. The herding zombies are the ones who owned the cars. -

Robe chest details for me seem to have been fixed. Thank you!
-
Male robes are missing a lot/all of the non flat texture chest details, such as ring and jewl.
-
-
-
The reason why they took this out is because people were getting too many skin toned naked toons. As such it was removed.
-
Male Robes are STILL missing a lot of the chest details! Please fix this soon. This isn't a problem for the female or huge models.
