  1. I believe the final mission of Sarah Moore's TF is in just such a map.
  2. Yikes. Mental note: do NOT piss Snap off.

He didn't break any of the rules, that I know of.

Except for whatever he keeps saying that gets Mod 8 to blank his posts.
  4. If the dead character in question has a Self Rez, that's still OK, right?
  5. Something of note - all the reductions are melee powers, with the one ranged power mentioned actually getting MORE damage. At least that's what it look like to me.
  6. I could never stand fighting them on my main, more because I really don't get the 'Hero' vibe from punching someone into the air whose entire body is smaller in mass than the arm I punched her with.

Grav/elec. Making one now on redside

[/ QUOTE ]They're both good, one is the matter manipulation, one the mental.
  8. It depends on if you want the lightsaber type, or the ULTIMATE POWAH! type. The former would be easy enough, katana/dual blades/Broadsword (maybe) with the Talsorian blade of choice in red. The latter would probably be a Mind/Elec Dominator.
  9. S'what I thought.

*heads back out through the Protector Portal bringing back a small bookshelf loaded down with books*

Y'all might enjoy some of these.

  10. *looks in nervously*

I'm glad I missed all that business with the Giant ray. Have enough problems at my current size.

Either way, I just popped in here to ask what may be a silly question, given our present location. Anyone here really big on reading?
  11. I do indeed, in fact the only pack I don't have is the Wedding one.
  12. Many of you at this point have heard me speak of my Tank/Brute duo. These two were the first time I actually had more costume concepts than there are slots before the character was even created, hence making two characters with (almost) the same story. Unfortunately, I've hit a design snag with one of them.

The original idea was to have one civilian outfit, one 'normal' Villain costume, and two special designs centered on the unlockable weapons./shields. The Hero was going to have Roman and Vanguard, and the Villain was going to have a Rularuu and Rikti/Lost. The problem comes with the last one.

The idea behind the Lost costume was the Rikti Axe from the Invasion Accolade, and the Manhole cover shield. I'm trying to keep the face in all but the civilian costumes completely covered, so that made a generic Lost costume difficult, but then I remembered the Tech Shield. With it, and the Rikti Axe I could just make a full Rikti-like Body armor costume.

Sadly, nothing I've come up with so far is even close to appropriate for the concept, or even pleasant to look at. So, I'm here to ask if anyone else can help me come up with an outfit that works for either the Lost or the Rikti concept. Any ideas?

    RUSH the RIKTI!!

    ....

Wow. More proof that I'm blind.

    Ice...

I've tried to link to specific scenes from the [as] site before, and I could find no way to find the correct link. How did you do it?
  15. Actually, there's already a 'Civil War'-esque fight in Paragon's history. The plaques for one of the history badges goes into it. Essentially, before the 'Citizen's Crime Fighting Act' (which is how we register as Heroes) there was the 'Might for Right Act', which essentially said that if you had meta-human abilities, you were automatically drafted. If you had powers, and didn't register, you were classified a Villain and delt with accordingly.

EDIT: It's the Expert badge, if you're interested.

Bill Roper, co-founder and CEO of Flagship Studios, is currently working on Champions Online as a Cryptic employee.

    Did not know that!

    Bwaaaah.

[/ QUOTE ]There was someone else that said that it was a trinity of developers that was keeping their interest in the game low. Unfortunately, the only two I can remember being mentioned are Emmert and Roper, though the third was supposedly in the same vein. (to the poster)
  17. *yawn*

Good timing mate, I was just about to head back and sleep. Y'all have a good morning.

Ok, so ... the TARDIS thingie is a phone booth?

(still trying to figure this out, sorry)

[/ QUOTE ]It looks like one of England's special phone booths that are mainly used to call the police (at least on the outside).

    Google image search

Inside it's "much bigger than is seems" (oft repeated line) and is how Doctor Who gets around.
  19. *looks about the (mostly) empty plains* And I joke about people that can't find me in a crowd.
  20. Stands in a field looming over a lone police call box. After a moment places a hand on the roof and shakes it gently. Looking dejected he circles it once, and then sits in front of the door facing it.

Don' matter how big it is inside if yeh can't fit through the door.

Hm. I should really get into a Super Group. Anyone have any recommendations?

The Virtue Honor Guard is always looking for new people.

[/ QUOTE ]Heh. My SG 'back home' is the Paragon National Guard, so I think we have a winner.
  22. Hm. I should really get into a Super Group. Anyone have any recommendations?
  23. Well, right now I'm only level 6, but once I hit say 15, I was thinking of a meet-and greet Synapse.
