One other point. During a raid....... if you are an attacker, people in your SG, or coalition, or teamed with other SG members that are (not part of the raid---i.e. never clicked join raid) can still enter the ATTACKER base......just not the defending base.

should'nt Superman put on a bit more muscles
[/ QUOTE ]Yeah, since 2000, there was a ban on the Human Growth Hormone at the Justice League. Superman has to testify next week on his useage of the substance. -
BTW I really love that you actually used hawk wings...... those are plucked fresh from a red-tailed hawk arent they?

A couple of textures and some parented props and he's done. If you want home modelled up hard-core, you could actually make his ribs and plating in 3D... but I'd recommend a texture for speed. But if he were in a movie, I could see all those plates being segmented and stuff.
[/ QUOTE ]Well when I get that thing back I will be trying my hardest to whoop it on Poser to make my life easier. -

Do you make your own costume pieces or is there a pack? BTW although all are incredible.......... Hawkgirl is freaking awesomeness.
[/ QUOTE ]
No packs. In fact, I think my reliance on pre-made pieces is coming to an end. In the case of Hawkgirl, I modelled her helmet completely from scratch, and that's the peice that really brings her together.
[/ QUOTE ]When my brother finally brings my Poser back to me, I will probably beg, pay, provide my first born to try and get a Warface body parts pack from you. That way I can endlessly pose him and have him chase around naked models in a comic strip

There's a solid reason right there not to give Warface such a model set.

Okay some successes last night and some .....not so much. First I love Alt-Backspace...sheer goodness as it figures out where the lines are. Also LOVE MULTIPLY for making the lines look better and darker.
I understand the layer line art. I understand the layer for color.
I DO NOT understand screen layer. I put it in screen mode....Of course the screen turns a bit opaque. Then I try to select areas using lasso or polygon and brush with what...... white? A lighter color....radial gradient? Then when I merge...those areas I highlighted disappear for some reason.
This is the step that is beating me up. -

Good luck and as always, your Comic Art IM Team will disavow you, should this blow up in your face...
[/ QUOTE ] I fully expect this to be the case
I will scan each part I do of A SIMPLER eye.......slowly. You can check my work along the way. -

Also Alt + Backspace fills only your selection. The paint bucket will fill everything and anything it can that has the same color intensity. So if you have flatted two shapes with similiar colors, the paint bucket won't be able to decide do I just fill this grey and not that grey, looks the same to me, screw him!
Selecting and Alt + Backspace may seem like a longer step, but it's more cost efficient time wise, and mistakes wise.
[/ QUOTE ] AAAA HA!!! Thats why it kept doing that crap to me. -
Okay I read all I will attempt this phase by phase at home tonight. Thanks guys!

Why do you hit alt backspace to fill as opposed to clicking on the fill tool clicking somewhere in the picture and filling? Is that just a shortcut?

So anytime I fill or color I want anti-alias on. When do I want it off and why?
-
Okay understand now alot better. I am still confused on making straight, bold lines though. Like I said when I do it on paper, it looks great. Scanned in, causes it to look worse......how do I fix the lines up after coloring?
Going through LadyJs right now. -
NM I like Tutorial 2 better so far, easy to understand as I use layers.
-
Okay so far: For tutorial one, can you expand or explain this a bit further: If you fill that with black, doesnt the entire picture become black, how does it just increase your line size?
Step 16 - Apply the line art
This step is essential to package up your image and this step is also necessary if you wish to add special effects that cover the line art, like glows, etc. Bring up a selection of the lineart channel by Ctrl + Clicking on it. Invert the selection (Ctrl +Shift + I) then in the RGB channel fill the selection with Black (Alt + Backspace if the foreground color is black already).
