Well, I'm getting back into drawing humanoids after many years of doing nothing but tribal tattoos and regular designs.
Here's a work in progress I'm doing of my MA/WP scrapper and a close friend of hers. It'll take me a bit to get it up to teh way I want it, but any comments/suggestions you have, I'd be more than happy to get the response!

hey, that's quite good for not drawing anything of humanoid ilk for so long, certainly not rusty
It looks like just a black shadow of a kheldian dwarf, but that may be intentional. I'll save the rest of my comment for when it it's finish -
The epic battle is made of epic. that's really really awesome, I can't wait to see a colour version
and yes. it would be all kinds of cool if we could place art like this in bases. (bases just need so much QoL right now) -
Well. I was finished my stuff in electronics and I had time left to spare. What to draw? so I ask my friend dave...My bud dave just said "Sargent bacon! leader of the rebellion against the glazed ham forces, and their donkey brethren!".
I was in a WTF moment(I think he was high actually), but started doodling it anyways. it actually came out really well. seriously
Sgt.Bacon -
Very nice! very artistic stylizing.
And, for what ever reason, I can't help to look at her as if she's a peeved Daemon lol (Daemon from the Reboot movie, of course) -
amazing use of subtle colorations and pure b/w shading. excellent job to your bud, grats on the piece
-
Grats! that's a very well done piece, big woot for the tone musculature and the pure blue emphasis on the eyes.

Is anyone else completely and utterly unimpressed with the inherent power the= VEATs recieved? .50% regen and 1.50% recovery? Not all to impressive being they are EPIC archtypes. The HEAT's get very impressive travel powers inherent with their that allow them two free slots for powers that would normally be consumed by the travel pool. It also allows them the abilty to select 4 pools where as others with travel form can select 3 with travel. This inherent % rates seem a little low for being EPIC on the villain side.
[/ QUOTE ]
Quite unipressed. I was expecting a bit less down time than normal ATs. At least those without regen/recovery powers. I noticed no difference whatsoever. In fact, from about level 12-19 I was resting or using inspirations durring missions after EVERY mob on the easiest difficulty. It's gotten a bit better after 20 now that I have both health and stamina. Definitely getting the short end of the stick with this one.
Maybe VEATs could get the Health/Stamina powers at levels 1 and 10 respectively like HEATs get the free travel powers at those same levels?
[/ QUOTE ]
Make sure your locked out of the fitness pool then, like how kheldians can't have pool travel. But I can actually agree with the statement, as many VEAT builds are terribly tight as is. -

Jays sexyness overriding the game code again. Damnit, just no containing it I guess. Hope he fixes it soon anyways, odd looking when jays powers are abused. . . .
-
I can try to make some from scratch(take a long time though, lots of those symbols), otherwise I dunno if there are any big versions of the graphics.
-
that looks really cool, great job. and yes the hidden effect does look cool

Excellent caricature styling

Awesome pic. It meshes the background scenes into a comicbook fashion so well, and looks so epic doing it :d

Very cool, and very true to the actual costumes as well. GJ

That looks.. awesome. it's so well blended with those yellow glowie light effects everywhere. just plain cool
