That's the situation now..taking out bosses requires inspirations and strategy.
With the changes made for Issue 3, that is out, the ONLY option for most players is get others. And that kills the fun of the game for those who spend a lot of time soloing.
[/ QUOTE ]
I agree.
My Scrapper can take out a +1 boss in my mission but my controler/Defender and maybe my blaster (have not tried him on test yet) could not. Not even with Insperations. THey just hit too hard and dont drop fast enough. -
Im hoping for 1 and 5 but we will probubaly get 2 and 5 (getting 2 after doing 5)
P.S
I wish for regens to not be changed. -
[ QUOTE ]
I'm hoping for Snow.(they have said they're tweaking the zone graphics)
Although 4/5 would be the easiest.
[/ QUOTE ]
Im hoping for Snow and Ice on the streets (like in Frostfire's mission)
It would sooo make the feel of Chrismass.
Could you imagin Perez Park all iced up!? -

Addendum: The 5th aren't gone, either. You can still see them in PI (and reportedly IP).
[/ QUOTE ]
I can conferm them in IP. Was looking for the Giant Oct when I come upon a large group (9) of 5th Column fighting a Large group (7) of the Council. All shotting at each other and useing bats and all. (some of the placments of mobs were buggy). After attacking one 5th, the whole group broke loose. 2 Council Bosses ran around a corner all they all attacked each other (NOT ME). I Hovered up out of the way of all the AoE granads and watched as the Council defeated the 5th (tho it was only the two Council Bosses left standing)
Every interesting set of content I might add. In the next 1 1/2 hours I did not see another set up like that. -
Well I was in IP looking for how to spawn the Giant Oct with my lvl 25 Ice/Storm controler. I was going by TV when I saw 2 DE of my lvl. One Lt and a minon. So I thought, they have uped xp for some mob types because they are inatly harder. DE being one of them (I think).
So BoI Lt. Drop Ice. BoI minion, Rain Brawl, brawl, BoI. Rinse repeat.
Neather one ever got free from my BoIs. I had to use Rest to get End back about half way though (no CoB). The whole thing took 8-10 minutes (Rest was about halfway recharged).
Xp was good per mob (160 for the minion, 230 I think for the Lt) But it took 8-10 minutes!
Thats .8125 xp per second.
My Scrapper could have killed them in 8 seconds. Same with my blaster. Scrapper would have taken almost no damage or would heal it compleatly in the next 30 seconds. Same with the blaster.
So the Damage dealers can get 45 xp a second and my controler can get .8125 xp per second. In one hour giving 1/4 of that time taken up moving to the next mobs.
Damage Dealing ATs get 121,500 xp
((45 minutes * 60)*45xp)
VS.
Controler getting 2193 xp.
((45 minutes * 60)*.8125xp)
That does not count in that both my Scrapper and Blaster can take on +1s and some +2s in larger groups.
Both Tankers and Controlers (and in some extent Defenders) need to have their single target attacks do more damage.
Illusion controlers Spectral Wounds is about what ALL controlers single target Hold needs to do.
This would make it so we would still, never get close to a damage dealers damage output AND Illusion would still stay on top for the first 30 lvls of there life. -

We already implemented Time Travel...
Wait, we haven't yet? What year is this? 2004! Oh... um, ignore me.
[/ QUOTE ]
That means we already have it in the future! So we just have to wait so they can add it...but we already have it in the...future...but not...yet...I mean...
Ow, paradoxes always give me a headache.
[/ QUOTE ]
Unless you take the parallel quamtum dimensions theory, where each event that could have multiple outcomes - does. Each out come becomes a new "reality" and you could skip between "realites" that are out of time-sync. So, it's not really time travel... but it's close.
Read Timeline (don't see the movie) to have a clue what I'm talking about.
[/ QUOTE ]
Well in true quamtum dimensions string theory...
Time does not really exist. Its just a mesurment of change and that as all strings fold onto themselves everything that has and can happen is happeing at a single point (same with space dimensions). The only thing that keeps us from seeing te efuture is our own limited perseption (for some reason). -

During the PCC event, didn't Cuppajo and the crew ask a few times whether us heroes would like the chance to travel back to fight during the Rikti Invasion?
[/ QUOTE ]
My answer to that would be a resounding hell yes!
[/ QUOTE ]
Hmmm Im having flash backs. Didnt we do this already?
Im remembering tons of Hero's in Atlas and Some one by the name of Storm Sage leading the defense of the capital as Rikti beamed down from there Ship hovering over the Blimp.
Im remembering hords of lvl 1-15 Heros swarming lvl 30 and 33 Rikti Mentalists and there minions.
To do that again would be a blast.
They would have to rull back the purple patch for the event tho.
edit: Now I know why some times some one posts a quote but does not say anything. (it was in teh quote that they quoted) -
I dont think they should make more zones SS friendly. SS is the best Travel power for blasters. The more you make it easier for blasters the mroe they will solo in these zones (because they can). I think adding stores that sell lower priced DO/SO enhancements would draw in players. Not too much lower but enough that going and hunting there is worth it. The "and hunting" is key. Zone spasific Missions like the hallows would also add to the zone.
-
Faultline requiers eveyone to have a Travel Power and at least one with Recall Friend. SJ and Fly are the best for this zone and with the easy to fall get seperated layout this zone really should be uped to lvl 30-40 content.
Add in a new Emeny and some cool caves/always enterable mission doors and you would get ppl to hunt in it.
Yes the Hazord zones ahve kind of proven to be the opposet to what they were planed to be.
I Hunted solo in Boom and DA with both my Scrapper and BLaster. I plan on doing the same with my Tanker. -

The ONLY thing about Regeneration is that internal playtesting has shown that it MIGHT be a little too good. But that's an impression - there will be nothing immediate changed and there might be nothing at all. It's just on my list of things to look at, that's all.
[/ QUOTE ]
I could see how some may thing they MIGHT be too good. Then I remind them that Scrappers are suppose to be the Solo kings and to solo you have to be just a bit too good else you cant lvl at a reasonable speed.
I also look at my Regen scrapper as I take on a goup of 6 yellow and then see the Inv/Spine scrapper taking on 20-40 Reds and think "How can ppl think Regen is so good?" -
Exemplaring is not ballenced for Risk vs Reward.
There is much more risk being Exemplared them not and the reward is 1/2 of what you would normaly get (only xp for debt OR Influnence)
If they lock you in as Exemplar then you should get FULL rewards at your normal lvl. (XP not just for debt, Influnce and Enhancments of your lvl/type) -
Ya that happened to me too. My SG was taking out some Hydras and the Kraken pops. We fight him down and while we are resting he pops again maybe 45 seconds after he droped.
Only happened twice but still we were suprised to see him soo fast. -
Funny that this thread come up.
Last night I soloed Adamastor at lvl 29 (he was also lvl 29)
Took me about 5 minutes to do it. but spent 10 minutes keeping his attencion till some SG got in zone for the badge. -
