So these people that are afraid of running anything involving the MA system:
Are afraid that their character might get removed and/or account banned based on criteria not given to the player.
Coupled with a ticket cap and reduce xp from custom mobs... gives them no reason to use the MA system over standard paper missions. -

I feel the rating system is easily abused, at least for me. I run PLs in Mercy Island. At the end, all I ask is that they rate my mission 5 stars, some do, some don't. Doing this over and over allows fresh people to get in and rate it. I'm real close to that one.. Legendary whatever star badge and my "arc" is a "farm" mission.
The way I am doing it takes the amount of time I put into it to get the badge. A normal player who just makes an arc would take... a lot of promoting to get to that status.
Also, the stars don't mean anything unless it's over 100 ratings. So if an Arc has 4 stars and 5 plays. That just means he/she ran it with friends and they all gave it 5 stars except for a few randoms who gave it something lower. Doesn't tell you anything and just leaves to griefing with 1 starring people.
Also, Rate Cartels inflate missions further. So, accuracy wise they don't tell you anything exact. Just a broad, meh... it could be good?
If that was the intention then the system is working -
Farming Rules are simple:
Turn off your XP.
Done. -
Anyone know of a level 47 mob to make the arc 47-50+?
Can't seem to find one. -
Not to mention, getting teams for MA is next to impossible since everyone is afraid of the banhammer.

From what I can gather:
*Before the MA system was put in you could get teams at any part of the day on any server(Even though I couldn't unless it was 6pm on a Saturday/Friday)
*During MA you couldn't get a "real" team anymore and everyone wanted to farm. Population on Virtue and Freedom were at their limits and I heard the other servers were extremely lively at all parts of the day.
*After MA, the same people who said they had no problems teaming beforehand claim to have problems getting teams. The teams they do get into are filled with "farm noobs".
I thoroughly enjoyed the game went farming was active. I got teams for Tasks/Trials by just sitting around in Cap and advertising. Did all 3 Respec trials and LSRF. Now? ... Lucky to put a team of 8 together for anything involving AE since people are afraid to get banned if they even go into an AE mission.
Like you, all my friends came back for AE after I told them how much fun it was. Now... playing by myself again :\

I'm not complaining. 25 million for Obliteration(Anything)? Sold today. LotG +Defense for 40 million? Sold today.
Good thing I bought these sets when they were saturated and cost less than 1 mill a piece. Even the +7.5% recharge was fairly cheap when AE was nuts.
However, Salvage has become super inflated on my market. 1k+ sellers and even Luck Charms are going for dirt cheap.
This is all alright though, because CoH is for the 4 year veterans, not us ~3 month vets. Nosir. -
Hrm... something interesting... get more xp for killing mobs +8 at the same speed as Comm Officers.
Best yet, since people were so hinged on farming before the nerf they're dying to get in on free xp. Missions fill up fast, fast with minimal spam to keep the old men in this game happy.
Better yet! Since all the AE Farming subsided, price on salvage has skyrocketed... this nerf has done nothing but great things for me.

Freakshow is the mob choice in question.
I fixed it by lowering my difficulty down to Level 4 and it made the lower levels auto SK to 46.

Made an arc that is 46-54. However, anyone under 46 who enters auto sidekicks to 44....
Anyone else experiencing this? Work arounds? -

Still making tweaks. Should be finalized soon.
However, since the ban hammer and report happy people are so abundant i'll just unpublish the arc while i'm offline and only publish it when I want to farm.

Ya, funny how those who petition MA arcs for being a farm, have no problems hopping on a sewer team for XP's and faster leveing. Or, they do speed TF's. Aren't both of these technically called farming?

Somehow those things don't interrupt their game play... Maybe everyone should start spamming "Sewer team LFM" all the time and see if the sewers get a nerf. -

There were just as many idiots playing CoX before AE Farming got put in. Farming does not make idiots, it just makes them have higher level characters. Which, in CoX, means nothing.
