I think if we could have put the +450% on the pets (HVAS esp) we could have had enough burst to drop Hami.
Also, the hami taunt brute fell after the second bloom. Even with PainBringers it was too much spike damage without any EoEs (He/She was out of EoEs before we started attacking).

What sucks about the hami-taunting brute not having EoEs, is that I brought 40 of them into the zone and passed them out to yellow-taunting brutes and support and while the conversation was going on in vent about taunting hami, i was making sure my yellow-taunting brutes were going to back in position for the yellow spawns. I think I used two or three EoEs total of the 20 i had on my brute, so it turned out I had plenty that I could have passed on to the hami-taunting brutes beforehand.
At least we know for next time that we don't exactly need as many EoEs as we initially thought we might (in the 150+ range ... a total over-calculation on my part) but I've got more than a hundred stored for the next raid.

It's disappointing that we couldn't finish this off, but we'll be ready next time.

I've talked to a couple of people about the yellow taunt team, but if there is anyone out there bringing a brute with taunt that wants to make mention here, that'd be great so I can plan this out.
Ideally, I'd like to have two teams with three brutes, a kin and three pains/therms on each team, but we'll see how things work out.

Then I start scheduling theme nights (night of smash for brutes, domination night for doms, etc) and I have to make sure I have a good toon available for those nights and I just keep creating more.
I'm actually debating moving all of my heroes (except for my stone brute) to another server to make room for more villains (ok, more brutes), but I haven't pulled the trigger on that yet.
And, just my luck, the devs came out with the free server transfers about a month or so after I moved all of my villains from Pinnacle over to Champion.
Angie, and everyone else with slot issues, I feel your pain (and I have two accounts!)

Now here is my suggestion... if we are going to plan something like this that requires Nukes, Shivan and so forth. Why not schedule those events as well. One night for the Shivan run, one night for vanguard or a tad more. With Thursdays MS raid run.. with Lord D. Also.. usually the night before Fridays, we have farmed the EOEs on monster island.
My brute.. has decent defense, mud pots and hurl.. with some taunt on some powers..but no acutal taunt.. so let me know what team I would be on. I do not have, only raptor.. but I am damn squishy out of granite.
Have not had one successful Hami red side yet.. looking forward to someone running this with success.
In my opinion, if you are interested in future raids, you might want to consider doing a respec and adding taunt to your build, or using your second build and taking and slotting taunt.

Here's the most recent update to the costume contest prizes:
Category winners ==> $75 million infamy
second place ==> $50 million infamy
third place ==> $30 million infamy
These numbers could continue to increase and at this point, there may be more than just cash for the winners of each category too.
You'll have to be there tonight (8:30PM EST at the University in Cap) to find out!

I have been asked to update this thread and inform everyone that is interested that there will now be four (4) categories as we will be splitting the sexiest category into sexiest male and sexiest female villains.

The Villainous Llewthorous villain group will be hosting a costume contest on Friday, January 15th at 8:30PM EST in the area of the University/base portal.
The three (3) categories for judging are: sexiest, most comical and most villainous.
We will be awarding 50 million infamy for first place, 25 million for second and 15 million for third.

Great idea Nibs ... one thing I noticed was missing, though, was the villain hami raids, which I believe are still scheduled for the third Saturday of every month at 9PM EST.

Just to update this, I received emails today informing me that my accounts had been updated and the veteran rewards applied.
I just logged through all of my toons on both accounts (ok, so I was bored at work anyways) and confirmed that I have received the correct vet rewards.
I checked the status on my game account pages and they show that I have received my vet rewards as of today, 12/15, which is only a couple days late on my main account but nearly two weeks on my second account. I guess late is better than never.

I was supposed to have received my vet rewards the beginning of this month on both of my accounts (the 12th on my main and the 2nd on my second account) and haven't received either.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this issue or noticed it or whether it's just me.
I've petitioned/bugged from both accounts but haven't really gotten anywhere with support.
My accounts are paid up and I can access/play the game no problem, so I'm just wondering out loud at this point.
