  1. A new day means a new thread! Starting this week the SINISTER event will be on Wednesdays.

Start time is 20:30 Aussie Eastern time
    Server is Justice
    Faction is villains

Feel free to announce your arrival in this thread, or discuss future plans, although most people just turn up. Global channel Australia is the best way to find us, or just look around for suspicious looking people. I'm @Lili if you want to send me a tell.
  2. So for our last SINISTER Thursday we took on the Reichsmann. He had a piece of us too, but in the end we prevailed. Now, if the game weren't stacked in our favour, he and his hordes of 5th Column would most certainly have won. I have to say it's pretty cool that we villains get to unleash the 5th Column again, because I'm sure we'll be seeing them again.
  3. Back in the saddle!

With a double XP weekend under our belts I'm betting we're ready for some Strike Forces. So that's what it'll be tonight, starting from 20:00 Aussie Eastern Daylight Time.

Next week I'll move it to Wednesday and start a new thread. I'm less able to commit to Friday, so I'll leave it for "self-directed play".

I'm toying with resurrecting the Hero side of things when Going Rogue arrives and I can play a reasonable Archetype in Paragon City.

If you want to have a fit and scream that NCsoft doesn't value your business just because of your geographical location, that's your prerogative. I just don't think it's warranted.
Min Min can only get online in the weekday evenings. For the last few weeks 60% of those were occupied by maintenance preventing him from logging on. Cancelling something that's only available 40% of the time you want it is a perfectly natural level-headed reaction. I know many other Aussie players who only play in the evenings, and are similarly affected.
  6. Excellent news Ghost Falcon, that's a great improvement. One less weekly maintenance makes a big difference to us, and it's nice to have Friday night back too. Having a predictable patch day (Tuesday) is also very important to us because it we can organize our weekly events around it.

Of course it's not ideal, the old maintenance schedule was better for us, but this should be bearable, and it's very comforting to know that you are listening and responding.

Thank you to everyone who worked to make this change happen

The Oceanic Lounge was created by the community team. The new choice of maintenance hours was done by completely different departments and I'd guess the community team are not happy about it. The timing of the two events was rather unfortunate too.
  8. Expect another maintenance on Tuesday. Double XP has been extended.
  9. This time around it starts on Thursday 09:00 US Pacific, so Friday 03:00 in Aussie East. In reality, it's directly after the maintenance.
  10. I won't be hosting an event this week. Maintenance rules Thursday out, and since Friday's double XP weekend people will probably just want to go out there and earn XP. I might log on, we'll see.
  11. I vaguely thought about logging in tonight, since maintenance has kept me away for the last week, since the time change. Glad I didn't.

Maintenance means we'll have to cancel the Thursday event, I guess rescheduling for Friday. Although at this point, my motivation is pretty damn low.
  12. Well at least the European early afternoons and American mid-mornings are now free. heh
  13. New Maintenance Times

I'm just feeling screwed over right about now.

Second week in a row that maintenance has prevented my RP group from finishing the treespec.
  14. Are you going to unleash the RIA again Min Min?
  15. Actually DUNCE are around 37 now and thinking about the end-game.

If you want to gather more interest, try asking in the Australia channel. There are a lot of people there that never come to the forums. As for server choice, we always had more success with Justice because there would inevitably be roster changes or people who just wanted to join in for a night or two. It also meant a life for characters after the group had finished.
  16. We had a pretty good turnout, about a dozen people throughout the night. Unfortunately we were plagued with some bug in the MA refusing us entry into the mission and then splitting us across multiple instances of the mission. Oh well.

Next week I'll be on holiday so I won't be organizing anything. Someone else is more than welcome to put something together.
  17. Ah yes, what with me being in Auckland and everything I didn't notice.
  18. How can we resist more costumes now that we can colour our powers?
  19. Thursday 24th September: Co-op Architect Missions

I feel myself once again drawn to the Mission Architect and its wealth of content. This week we'll be meeting in the Rikti War Zone MA building so that any willing heroes can come along. If you've created a story and would like to share it with us all, just post here and we'll give it a shot. The super-sidekicking means no more logistical problems.

Heroes, you're welcome to join us, but don't be alarmed if we push you into the enemy first, it's nothing personal.
  20. Last week we had quite a few people pass through, even though I was only on for a short while. We did MA stuff for the convenience of gathering everyone, including lowbies, in Cap au Diable.
  21. Thursday 17th September: Celebration of I16

To kick off I16, and specifically the super-sidekicking feature, we'll do some regular or MA missions with a team of diverse levels. Everyone should bring a character, preferably of different levels, and brand new characters with proliferated powersets are very welcome.

Say good bye to juggling character levels!
  22. Every Thursday SINISTER hosts an event. Watch this thread to find out what's coming.

These events are for villains on the Justice server, where SINISTER resides. Everyone is welcome to join, and if you don't have a supergroup on Justice SINISTER will welcome you to our ranks.

The events all start at 20:00 Aussie eastern time. Sometimes I can be a bit late, but usually someone else is there to pick up the reigns.

We do all sorts of different things including Strike Forces, light role-playing, accolade earning events, Raids and Giant Monster hunts, PvP, Mission Architect stories, and everyone is always welcome. (some activities like Strike Forces may be level restricted)

    US Edition?

I found myself unwillingly in JB Hi Fi at St Lukes and noticed an Architect Edition box there. It was $67. I didn't check if it was US or EU, that place is too scary to concentrate or want to hang around in.
