Any interest in a static team?

Anyone interested in a regular super team up?

I was thinking most likely mid week (tues/wed) evenings. (Oceanic time of course - yay).

Heavy emphasis on fun, normally I'm a lite role player, but a static team with a theme could make it quite fun to add a bit more RP into the carnage.

I have an idea of running through normal story arcs together, building the SG as appropriate etc etc. Possibly picking a theme like 'against the rikti' as focus or some other unifying concept.

Server _shouldnt_ matter with reg team, so maybe we pick an underused one to ensure we have character slots.

Redside/Blueside depending on majority.

I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.

Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.

So sad to be ending ):

There's actually a couple of these already running on Justice in our timezone. As the teams hit 50 they tend to do another group with most of the same players, but they're usually after more just through natural attrition. The current groups are:

Blueside: The Extraordinary Eight (2nd time around for this lot) - Light roleplay, Tuesday nights, primarily MA missions created for the group.

Redside: D.U.N.C.E - Heavy roleplay, Monday nights.

Thats good to know, though hopefully the oceanic timezone can support a few

The extronordinary eight are full, and not accepting extras.

Will read up on DUNCE, and find out what they mean by heavy RP but monday nights are't great for me, so would still like to see if more are interested.
I really like the idea of starting from level 1 with a group, at lvl 29 it would be quite different dynamic to join in. Maybe.

Plus it's nice to use this new shiney section of the board for something

Actually DUNCE are around 37 now and thinking about the end-game.

If you want to gather more interest, try asking in the Australia channel. There are a lot of people there that never come to the forums. As for server choice, we always had more success with Justice because there would inevitably be roster changes or people who just wanted to join in for a night or two. It also meant a life for characters after the group had finished.

Are you going to unleash the RIA again Min Min?

I keep threatening it.

I'm enjoying DUNCE, and I'd be up for another superteam if it's on a night and time that suits. RIA would be good because it saves me from having to think of a character concept.

Search for Daybreak Patrol. It's on Virtue and plays on Oceanic nights. 2-3 times a week and I think they have free slots.

To the OP;

I'd like to help you form this, and I actually think going to a low population server (e.g. Champion) would be good. I'd bring along an American if that's okay.

I'd prefer red-side, but could cope with blue-side. I enjoy the villain a/t and missions more, but wouldn't be so inflexible that I'd not become a resident of Paragon City.

Also, a common theme would be good. I'd actually also extend this to power choices, but that's obviously an extension of your concept and would have to be discussed.

If you're interested, shoot me a PM on here or I'll try to look you up in-game.

If anyone's interested, a social group has been set up at http://boards.cityofheroes.com/group.php?groupid=143.

It's still in the forming stages, so feel free to join the group and post your ideas and feedback.

I would like to note that I realise that a lot of regular events are now being organised again (largely on Justice) and this proposed new weekly team event isn't designed to disrupt those teams/events - It's designed to add an additional option for Oceanic players.

The more events the better as far as I'm concerned!
