  1. OMG NM found him...sheesh

After taking quite some time trying to find the inital contact...Jim Trembler. My one suggestion is for him to get an introduction from another contact or immediately show up once you zone into Faultline the first time.

Other than that......I've really enjoyed the zone. Good looks, good new missions, good storyline, and good overall feel.
  2. Where is Jim Trembler? I cannot seem to find him.....and I'm spent running around the zone. Someone said near the donut shop....but I've circled it many many times.

I still cannot get my first contact in here!!
  3. I'd also point out that Permafrost also gives Slow resistance.....which in my mind is quite nice, stacked with Wet Ice and EA......you can scurry around MANY caltrops no prob. It was noticable when I went from pre-permafrost to post-permafrost regarding slow resistance. Not to mention Infernal is a beast without the fire resitance.

I absolutely rely on gauntlet and my aggro-auras to maintain aggro, and I've never had any complaints. I haven't had taunt in my build since about I4. I have fought AVs, large spawns, +3s and +4s, and GMs without losing aggro to my teammates.

You can indeed rely on it, without problem.

I wanted to chime in and say I see the exact opposite with regards to AVs. I have Ice Aura with 2 taunts in it.....and a supposed Gauntlet.....and I can not maintain aggro throughout an AV fight. Its better when I mix in Taunt too but sheesh talk about a wasted inherent power. I'm slamming the AV with punches and AV is in my Aura and it still turns and attacks the scrapper next to me or the other toons around.
  5. As an update, GM just fixed our base in COH and said "The last patch you cannot edit rooms where an anchor is untargettable in that room"

Oddly enough one room was fixed and I would have never had guessed the anchor was untargetable, just kinda slapped it up. The other was "ahem" quite hard to touch.
  6. I totally agree with the OP here. Infamy is scarce. Perhaps some of you are used to having a sugardaddy and project your "wisdom" onto others but I call BS.

I'm having a very difficult time keeping enhancements from going red in most of my powers....and I've been VERY frugal with my buying and selling. Didn't buy anything until I could get DOs...and could only get a few when I finally strarted buying. Always sell enhancements when my tray is full or close to it etc....

Not to mention I finally did my cape and costume mishes only to realize I cant afford a whole new costume at lvl 20. That stinks. Its been a real struggle in COV with infamy and I NEVER remember it being this bad in COH. And I'm not talking about keeping things ++, I'm talking about trying to keep MOST of my enhances from going red.

This needs to be looked into IMHO.
