  1. Top Secret: New Powerset hidden in VIDEO!

Yes folks, I saw it and confirmed it with myself!

Confirmed by ME, yes me, I saw it at :31 of the video.

    It looks so awesome sauce.

I have also confirmed with myself that the power shown, Flaming Snot, is part of a top secret project to give all melee characters ranged attacks based on elements and bodily fluids. Frozen Phlegm, Blazing Snotrocket and Spitcicles are just part of what I have allowed myself to reveal!

    This is all, 100% true!

    Really!

    :P

AM I the only one getting a dead page with this link?
  3. I think this is actually a very good guide for those who want Khelds.

Now all we need is a guide for those who do get to 50 and are sorely disappointed by Khelds...

I don't know that those people forcibly moved would be very happy about that solution either.

Folks, the bottom line is that we've accommodated more people playing than we ever have before. In the last Double XP, the server would lag out and simply drop you or people would log in disgust over a poor play experience. The gameplay experience is significantly improved over that and with significantly more people playing.

If I am reading this right, y'all kinda KNEW this was an issue and didn't at all prepare the playerbase. That is a shame, and really, really poor PR work. If the lockout was a contingency plan or something y'all were going to do, WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Not that it probably would have made much of a difference, but knowledge being power and all, you could have at least prepared us for the possibility that the server load would be capped and that it would be possible that some of us would not be able to get on (and I will admit this did NOT happen to me).

Yes, server transfers are something we will be looking at. However, they are there so people can play where they want to play. We don't want to force someone to not be able to play with their friends. While it is certainly less than optimal to resort to a server cap for a few peak hours on a double XP weekend, we feel that allowing people to move where they want for 99.9% of the rest of the time is a very nice feature.

Ultimately, we will continue to review how the service is run and make the choices we feel will benefit our customers as best as possible. Hopefully more of you will agree than not. Again, our thanks for your continued patronage and support.

Ultimately I think that once again the PR staff needs a swift kick in the rear. Please take the time to review your policy of apologizing after the fact instead of preparing us beforehand. It stinks. I can't believe that such a "hope for the best" instead of "preparing for the worst" policy still exists today.

I sincerely hope that you review and revise your policies towards keeping the playerbase informed about such possibilities in the future.
  5. I hope this is taken in the spirit that is intended (constructive criticism, not being a smart [censored]), but when you close your posts with: [ QUOTE ]
Thanks for your understanding and continued support!

prior to getting feedback, it seems a bit condescending.

I'm sure it isn't intended as such, but it smacks of trying to shut us up BEFORE considering the feedback from the playerbase. It's a rhetorical device that makes me cringe whenever I read it at the end of your posts because it presumes we understand and support what you've posted without you having actually taken the time to read and consider what we've posted.

And from the feedback above, it's pretty clear so far that the playerbase (to this point) neither supports nor understands the reasoning behind such a decision.
