The way I look at it, the developers are just lazy and sloppy for asking their subscribers to create content AND for not fixing exploits related to that content creation. Hey, we are all lazy and sloppy to some extent. But I wouldn't hire any of these people if I had a serious job I needed done.
Developing a system that was specifically asked for by a subsection of customers makes you lazy?

Just saying, I'm currently a lvl9 something, over in another something that's shiny and going to be something on March 31.

Maybe the purity police can get rid of all their undesirable fellow gamers in one shot.

I'm making a note here so I can ask you why you are hanging around mid April.

I only point and laugh at someone getting banned when they really deserve it, like being racist or sexist morons in broadcast, harassing someone or similar. Those people can just get out and stay out.

Also, rereading the CoH Code of Conduct... we're apparently not supposed to trade cross-server. I believe that part needs a re-write with the market and global email systems in place now.
I only point and laugh if the person said they couldn't or wouldn't be banned.

Yes, you see 5000 Mu is a gross exaggeration.

Why would I want to stop reading your posts, I've already said they make me laugh didn't I?

I divide my play time between a lot of characters, so if one is on hold for a week, or even two, because I need to wait for a bid on a certain recipe or piece of salvage to be filled that's not a problem.

The problem probably lies completely with me, but, say, 100.000 inf means next to nothing to me. But paying 100.000 inf for a piece of common salvage completely rubs me the wrong way.
If it could not be purchased below flipper resale price the flippers would run out of stock.

    Your logic has a flaw.

My supervisor ended up handling that case in a very unorthodox way; he looked up the offending character's IP address, traced it back to a person, and called the guy at home while he was in the act of duplicating unique items. I doubt if that would fly in CoH but it was kind of hilarious when it happened back in my old game.

In another case, at one point in the game we released exactly 10 very powerful copies of a certain sword. A few years later we did an inventory of powerful items and found that there were now 15! Needless to say there were questions to be asked (it turned out most of the duplicates had been created by players lying to support staff about having "lost" the sword due to a bug, and the support person doing an insufficient check of item logs before cloning a new copy).

Anyway, anyone who thinks every single account in this game doesn't have a comment log tied to it might want to open their eyes. You will never know what it says about you. And I can almost 100% assure you that if you've got numerous notes showing you to be a problem child that that factors into how support staff interact with you when you make a Petition, and how seriously the staff take your claims about bug reports, etc. If this game is anything like other games, that also controls how actively online GMs monitor your /tells and /chats. GMs may even have actual avatars they can use to go invisible, and mark our accounts with 1-star ratings!

Point being, even if it seems like no one was punished, they could have been. And they may never know it, or why the GMs are so much more savvy about their newest exploits.
Now that you've said all of that, would you care to go back to my question?

Negative enhancements (originally for people who don't like KB) weren't working right and never left internal test servers

I admit it's the only character that I have that the I19 change impacts and I'm not suggesting that in general that the vast majority of players and characters will benefit from this, other than those who whine that it doesn't come with extra slots, I'm just giving an example where I regret that there isn't a way to neuter the effects such as free unenhancements for those powers you can slot if you don't want them.
You might want to reread my post or I19 is going to be very "surprising" for you.

Without Stamina: sapped, dead, hosp. Or, sapped, run away, take 5 min to recharge because Rest is still down from you using it 30 seconds ago, and you got to stand around WAITING and WAITING and WAAAAIIITTTINGGGGGG. This is not my idea of a fun mission.

With Stamina: sapped, eat a few blues, back in business - or run off and recharge 30 seconds later, then back to the fight.

Some people prefer option one, and I don't get it - but then there are a lot of stylistic choices in life I don't get either. Truly, it takes all kinds.

Some growing up is indeed needed, if you think this bratty attitude of yours is convincing anyone to drop the Fitness pool like a hot potato. Or that those of us with Fitness on everyone need to "learn to play." If anyone made such a snide statement about one of your playstyles you would be the first to cry foul.
I love the fact you call out someones bratty attitude the same post you USE CAPS TO PROVE YOU ARE RIGHT. But honestly I was just making fun of your gross over exaggeration in that earlier post. Most of your posts I just laugh off because your points are obscured behind enough hyberbole to make a fish story seem modest .

I mean if we had THAT much free range inf we would see things like SGs buying up tons of prestige to mess with the prestige grind SGs who feel some sense of superiority for being "#1".

    --edit--

I do think the market needs to be caped...nothing should sell for more then 8 billion inf and we need a player inf cap of 16 billion.

Isn't the 2 billion cap an effect of some sort of data limit on 32 integers?

When my level 18 or so character is running that Marshall Brass "Discover truth behind PTS" mission with 5000 Mu Adepts in it, is the fact that they can suck me dry as a bone, drop my toggles and kill me due to the fact that I need to "learn to play?" I find such a supposition both naive and arrogant.
There have been a number of times we are 4 or 5 mobs into a mission before MNP realizes he forgot to turn his toggles on. It's normally "man these guys are hitting hard I almost had to pop a green there I wonder why...ohh wait...there we go" and then everyone on vent laughs at him. I don't know maybe he's just a good scrapper since no toggles doesn't mean instant death (he's invulnerable I think).

I don't like melee so I don't have any first hand experience myself.

But now like a player with a costume piece that's been removed from the game and can't visit the tailor to tweak his costume because they would lose that piece, I'm in the similar situation with respec because it would grant this character all of the fitness pool.
Umm if you have 0 fitness powers don't you automagically get it when I19 goes live.

I thought respec only came into effect if you had a power from fitness.
