Hm, I saw that. But I prefer to see him as an absent-minded slacker who never applies himself. Plus, his dialogue is hilarious. There's too much grim floating around CoX, imho.

So as even my friends who don't play CoH know, Sands is my favoritest sig character evar, mainly because of his delightfully lighthearted smartassery. Unfortunately, I rarely draw a) guns or b) armor. I just don't know how I could do the stormtroopery white armor thing without making the wearer look like a total tool (actually, I think most of the arbiters look like tools, with one exception <3). Plus, I forgot his stupid glasses.

So the end product is someone who doesn't actually resemble Sands at all. BUT IT'S HIM I SWEAR. Right before he shotguns me into debt again.

While drawing the latest page, I noticed that a few of you are missing pictures. Namely, Janus Fanel and Spark Force, the latter of which originally sent me his via sendspace (which expires after a set amount of time). I'll need a response within the next couple weeks if you want to be in this chapter, and eventually if you want to be in the comic at all.

For the rest of you, the next page will probably be up Friday, although this also depends on if Comicgen behaves and how much I dislike my job and therefore need to take advantage of Double XP in the meantime. So far, it's Cherry, Comrade Hero, and El_D.

I'm sure many of the toons are 50s in actuality... but in the interests of everyone showing up at once so I could pare down this massive list I got and also keeping in mind it's not like Manticore could really do something like this anyway, I figured it would be okay.

Kur and Rad are also 50s, but it's not interesting hearing about people who have already finished leveling...

As some of you may remember, I took a bunch of requests awhile ago for some characters to be put in my comic. There were a whole bunch and most of them are going to be in this current arc, so I figured I'd post them as they appeared in this thread for simplicity's sake.

Oh, good. I was hoping to find out if I got anything glaringly wrong

The other day, I decided to start a group picture of my resident double-fictional villain group, Kurenai. Even though I'm probably only going to end up cutting most of these pictures down so I can fit them into however many pixels each 2000-some px divides by nine into, yeah.

They should be labelled, but in case they're not, the villains included are Turbo-Ski, Tsugumi, Trane, Liam Hawkeye, Nathan Thorne, Foxglove, Kuroda Kousuke, and Damsell. Lydia Lovecraft is still being worked on :/.

Making stuff with Flash is a lot of work, ain't it? It's cool that you're spending your break making something when you could just as easily play CoH >_>.

One thing: I noticed your movie is some 2.5 MB, which seems really high for a preview. I have a feeling it's due to the background music, but there's really no way for me to be sure. If you're planning on submitting this to Newground or something similar, though, you should definitely look into ways to compress it a little more.

Okay, I have about 20 or so responses so far, so I'm going to put any more requests on hold until I can deal with some of the ones I've already got. I'll update this thread as I deal with those on the list and/or I can open this offer back up again.

And I love that pic, too. It goes right up there with my other favorite 4chan junk, like Snake's horrified expression as light erupts from his pants or Light screaming about "going for the gold in the Beijing Olympics".

Okay, I've posted the information of everyone whose information I've received, and this is what I've thought of so far:

1. Spark Force: I'm not sure if you wanted to make a cameo or have a more extended role, but if it's the former, I have a bar scene I can put you in at the end of the current chapter.
2. CapeMike: You obviously need to be in a funny scene. I'm still thinking.
3. Gamble: I was thinking your matter materialization powers would probably be of great interest to Crey. Hmm.
4. Slaughtermouse and Turboski: Do either of you want to be part of Kurenai? You'd have to wait somewhat longer to appear, but you'd also be signature villains and not limited to one story arc. If not, Slaughter goes in the next chapter and I'm not sure about 'ski. I don't want her to be a beat-and-forget type villain.
5. The Fenris Project. None of the two chapters I have planned ahead have anything to do with the Council. So I'd like to put you in later as a chapterwide villain in a case Kadmon and Shrike are investigating. (I'll try to fit the CoT in there as well, since their stories are strongly tied to that villain group).
6. Lucretia de Loccia. As someone who routinely requisitions Crey resources, she seems like the perfect guide for a break-in

masterdx: As many as you want, although I will put other people's first toons above your second or third toons, unless they can be put together.

Hi, everyone. I'm the author of a City of Heroes-based webcomic named Reflect, and as you might have guessed from the title of this post, I'm looking for toons who'd like to make an appearance somewhere in it one way or another.

You can find some specific kinds of toons I'm looking for here, but I'd just like to have more of other people's heroes/villains in general involved. It IS a CoX comic, after all. Anyways, if nothing else, it's an opportunity to get a free drawing.

If this sounds interesting, use this cool form I made, but just remember to give me enough so I don't get your character wrong.

Another Edit: Major roles go to friends and interesting toons first. Also, the size of any and all roles is directly proportional to how long you'll probably have to wait to appear, since I already have two chapters semi-planned out.

TA turned about the way I expected... Hoods have always been my enemy (along with Macs). I like how Windfallen turned out, but only after I emitted a primal scream of rage after I lost the original lineart. Grr.

I don't really like this one :/. I guess you can tell what's happening, but Trinket just doesn't look very girly (this is what happens when you draw guys al the time!). The panels don't look so hot either, which I probably should have expected... There's not a lot of middle ground between hard coloring and soft in PaintBBS, so I probably should have stuck with one or the other. Oh well.
