Stalkers do have acess to /Energy Aura. But it has a few powers trimmed off. I still fail to see how a stalker could do it unless he tped in.

I fail too see how a stalker can walk up to a player with such a power on. It will break his hide and he will be flung away. I must admit I just started stalking though..

PBAoE's like Tornadough (sorry had too) really make it difficult for Stalkers like myself to get that AS off. Be wary though it is possible to TP in hit you with a De-toggle and slay you that way..

That is if your into PvP..

Well having got to that high level of level 9, I am loving my EM/NJ. Its great, it really is great.

I am glad I choose Energy Punch over Barrage though, it is great for when a mob has just that little slither of Hp left.

AS, it rocks. I dont really do much one shotting but then again I am taking BU at level 10 and have yet to slot my AS with anything other than an +ACC I got as a mob drop.

Its great, I find it quicker to level through street sweeping at the moment. But I am sure this will change as I level up and recieve more powers.

I am very excited about trying my toon out in a PvP zone, just have to level up a bit more.

Endurance is a bit of a pain, I seem to run out quickly. But thats what stamina was invented for, as were -End Cost enhances.

I've only got to level 6 at the mo' but even now I can see the potential. Just have to get through the lowbie levels and get some good enhances in some powers. I am using red 2+'s at the moment tee-hee.

I've finally joined the CoV community too.

Being a villian is so much fun, so is stalking, well will be...

My most fun moment so far has to being Pwned by a prisoner in tutorial. Just did not watch my precius 100hp and promplty ate my first piece of gravel.

Stalkers though are great fun, unless your attack from hide misses in which case things can get a bit hairy.

If anyone wants to trade Infamy for Influence (Defiant) gimme a holler on my chat handle @Krunch or /t shadow weave. I will be on tomorow afternoon/evening and am willing to pay intrest! I really need that infamy he he.
Deluge if your reading this and thinking "I thought I was swapping Union inf for Defiant inf" you still are buddy, just waiting for you to be online the same time that I am.

Roll a diffrent set if you want higher def, EA has some nifty tricks up its sleeves later in the game. Making it all pretty balenced.

Ok so maybe then an EM/NJ build with CJ-SJ-AB, its a few toggles aye but with -Endurance costs I'll be ok. And If I also take Hurdle stacked with CJ thats some rapid movement in a fight.

This way get a heal status protection and a few power toys.

Hmmm.. I need to write up a build.

Sirens Call tonight on Union. Utterly awsome fun.

To start with me and just a couple of guys out hunting stalkers. We had sucess, but at the same time the villians were taking a heavy toll on us. A few more villains enter the PvP zone, the total count is now about 4 Heroes 7 Villians. Yet more Villians come, we cant hold out anymore every were we run were attacked. So I er.. Spam arena a little bit, after all it is a PvP channel. More heroes come. Were now pushed right up against our own hospital. Litterally rez'ing and back to the battle. More heroes come so now its about.. I would say .. 15 Heroes to 15 villians. We break through the what can only be described as a siege. Secure a few hotspots and push the villians back towards their own base. Now the tables are turned. We now siege their own base. At times they tried to breakout, but were checked everytime.

It was great running 2 hero teams in partnership with the other team. Probably the most fun I have had in a while. But the villians got peeved and left. Were we had stuck it out surounded, they simply fled the battlefield. Sirens Call was dominated by Heroes once again..

Sorry, I just felt I had to share this with you..

Why more people dont try PvP out I will never know.

I cant wait for that new PvP zone. Were we actually make a diffrence.

For the record I died 3 times.

2 times by a stalker knocking my toggles and someone holding me, stalker then kicked me to the ground.

That other time I cant remember. Think a Brute got lucky.

Yes, I think I will go Em/Ea. I can always just roll again if I find I dislike it.

At the moment its a toss up between Energy Aura or Ninjitsu.
I just have a pit in the bottom of my stomach that the Ninjitsu heal will come in handy and save me many times..

But then again no KnockBack/Down protection... Unless I take acrobatics, in which case I would loose Air Sup' and take CJ/SJ/AB. Which I suppose is not as bad a trade as it could have been. That little more defense is always helpfull and I would be more manouverable in battle. Thats great for stalker right?

Yeah I am thinking I will pick up stealth just to be on the safest side of safe. Again the extra DEF is handy.

If I go down the above route stamina is a must at level 20 then. Which is ok by me tbh.

I know the logical thing would be too go /Regen but I have used Regen since I3 and its getting a tad boring always knowing when to take what and use what.

Ah blimey but If I went Regen I could get SS and hence ghost things..

This is a really hard choice..

As many of you will know I am rolling a Stalker as soon as CoV arrives. Yet I still have a few issues involving powers etc.

1. What is the Stalker damage cap?

2. Barrage, I like this power. Its animation is brilliant to me. I read one guide which apart from saying its rubbish etc, tried to tell me that the main reason not to take this power was because its damage in hide is lower than that of Energy punch. But why on earth would you use Barrage in hide when you have AS etc?

3. Hide is stealth needed? I will be doing some PvP so, if it gives me that extra chance not to be spotted then I am all for it.

4. EA, good set bad set? The status protection at level 10 is a pretty great feature. Yet it lacks an heal and other utility powers of the other sets.

5. Repulsion, said by some to be a rubbish power, to me though the ability to say "I dont want to fight you now, go away" is a pretty good one?

6. Slightly OT but I heard somewere that SO's are set as a reward in SC. Now this is a very atractive propersition to me, as this is my first time in CoV I'll be short on Infamy.

7. What about mission difficulty, imo a stalker would excel in a 1 red mob 1 orange mob situation that I used too see in Invincible on CoH. Is this plausible however?

8. Any stalker orrientated SG's on CoV Defiant server? To provide a bit of support in my early levels.

I wouldnt know, I have been wetting myself for a while in excitement for rolling one. I just orderd CoV but play is making a few days look like years to me..
