Have to agree that perhaps hasten isn't a good plan, due to the endurance loss but hey, try it & see, you don't have to use rage all the time if you don't want to.

I didn't get Dull Pain till L24 & I didn't suffer, keep stocked up on respites. The only difference to you is that I got air superiority and it makes a very good addition to your attack chain. Don't get hurdle over swift, the main thing about being a brute is keeping your fury bar up & that means getting from one bad guy to another asap...swift helps you with this. Finally I am L28 & still havent got any damage enhancements in my attacks, you don't need em till later, get one acc/end red/resh red in them & you'll be rocking & when you get rage, slap 3 rech red in it & that will be perma. I cannot believe how easilly I sail through mission, soloing +2 boss's, 2 at a time regularly with very little trouble and if anyone doubts me, they are welcome to come & watch me

Can't remember what level I was when I fought my first EB but haven't had a problem really with any of them & am on one from top diff. Got Barracuda today so might change my opinion yet but I doubt it.
Yeah bet it is easy for a Mastermind but then I can do it without all my mates helping me

get all the Dark attacks, even shadow punch. It is afterv all negative energy & not many have a resistance against that, you get hold of a claw PP when he has done his unstoppable force of nature doo-dad & everyone else in having no joy, up walks the dark melee scrapper & whoomph, resist that ya big ugly waspalike....dead...no resistance...it makes sense :=).
Touch of fear is your friend too, 2 hits & the boss is busy whilst you mop up his mates.....good acc debuff in it too.

Explosive blast is only any good for the whooo big bang effect. If you want to get in take advantage of your fulcrum shift, then I went the acrobatics route, I know that inertial red does SJ but i found that the hold prot of CJ & the knockback pro of acrobatics has saved my butt numerous times. Keep your stuff to single target atacks, you'll find you get enough aggro with FS. Another tip, best place to be in right in the mud pots/blazing aura etc of your pet tanker, cos they ain't going to hit you if they are attacking the aggro magnet.
I have a couple of accuracies in all my attacks & don't seem to have much of a problem, missing rarely. I have 3 accuracies in FS, Siphon Speed & Siphon Power & tend to miss even less. If you need any in tips at any time feel free to gimme a shout

I have been mainly soloing with my Brute, set on the one from the top difficulty and bar the Longbow balista who took 2 attempts, all the rest of the EB's have seemed right wimps. I have tried soloing Frostfire & Atta on CoH before & it has usually ended in tears but these CoV EB's seem soft by comparisson. Are they a bit soft or am I just too good?

Solo'd Tommy One eye on Srtiga & had 4 quantum whoevers & 2 void stalkers....thankfully not all at once but boy did I feel popular!

get as many acc enhances in stuff as you can, better to hit more & do some than miss & do nothing. I found that Transference seems to have a lousy accuracy, may just be me & I have 3 in Fulcrum Shift, cos ...well you don't wanna mis now do you?
With a couple of recharges in Transfusion, siphon speed & hasten on the go, you will be healing those greatful melee people about every 6 seconds or there abouts, is lush.

If any of you guys that have hit 50 & don't play CoH but are thinking of starting, I'd be only too happy to swap some influence for infamy, a bit of a mutual helping hand you might say....come on guys I hate being poor!

I think if they decided to do the same with the colours of dark scrappers armour in CoH there would be an uprising, I mean it looks a bit evil doesn't it.....maybe a nice pink tint would make it look nicer....not a pleasant thought is it?
