    CoH2 registered?

All they would have to do is make any sequel different enough from CoX that people would feel they have a choice over which game to play. Some may stay, some may move and some may play both.

They could make the next game more action oriented and less turn based like console hero games are.
  3. [quote]This popular event is back with the potential to earn unlockable costume pieces and badges. Brave the Well of the Furies, find Aphrodite’s Girdle, and take down that mischievous Red Cap, Snaptooth. Don’t forget the exciting temporary powers available only from this event…confound your enemies with the Nectar of the gods and enemies become allies with the crossover Dimension Drop buff.[/quote

Again I ask, What is Brave the Well of the Furies?

I don't remember this from previous years.
  4. So what is 'Brave the Well of the Furies'? I don't remember this.

Phenomenal. Story is fairly predictable, but eff my ay its a stunning movie. Would recommend seeing it in 3d because while the glasses were a little uncomfortable it really, really adds to the enjoyment of the movie.

And if I can see it in 3d in Switzerland people in the States have no excuse

Shame my date didn't put out, but hey, thats life right?
I guess since you said you saw this with your sister, I am not surprised she didn't put out, unless you are from south Switzerland! :P
  6. I would like to pick a server or three that I will never make characters on and move the slots to Champion.
  7. Didn't she start out sweeping the floors or placing trash cans in Paragon City? I seem to remember a post waaaaayyyy back where she talked about her being trained to add stuff to the game and then another one when she started doing dialog for NPCs.
  8. This year I tried it with Ninja Run, a jump pack, Sprint and a combination of all and still couldn't get the gold.

Handguns I've had some experience with:
    • .45 M1911. My least pleasurable experience because of a nub on the grip safety that kept getting hammered into the heel of my thumb.
    • 9mm & .40 Glock. Glocks are great guns...just not very sexy. I have gone akimbo with two .40...terrifying experience.
    • .40 & .45 USP - my favorite so far. Loved the .45, but felt the grip was too bulky. If I had the money, I'd buy a .40. Very expensive, military grade handguns.
    • Walther P99

Things that I have not fired, but would love to:
    • Beretta 92F - Came very close to buying one of these from a show, but without having ever fired one I balked. I do have a very nice Airsoft replica because I think this gun is terribly sexy.
    • Sig Saur P226
I carry the .45 USP at work. It cost me 700+ many years ago. I looked at what they cost now and Holey Moley!

In the meantime, I'm searching around for other ideas for "The Dying of the Light" (either instrumental or with lyrics), and a few ideas are percolating still. And there are other bands out there who ARE willing to let me license their music - it's just a matter of what I can afford. (After all, I don't make anything for doing these - the things I do for love.)

You might want to Look into some of the songs by Epica. Same style of music, but better IMO AND most of their songs would last the entire 10 minutes or so you plan for the video. If you could get their permission, it would rock.

I would love to see this build. I have figured out most of what you are using, but when I plug them into the planner, I can't match your numbers.
  12. Glad to see you won out.

Next time though pop a few inspirations and crane kick them into the next town.
  13. My characters have long 'talked the talk' and finally they can now 'walk the walk.'
  14. I have been messing around with a respec for my INV/EM character using this guide. The slotting levels are off as I was just sticking slots in to cover what I need to see if I had enough left for what I wanted. I did have to drop Energy Punch in order to get RPD, so that left me out an attack when I drop down to low levels.

This is what I came up with.

    How does it look?

I am at about 55% defense on smashing /lethal so I might can look at doing something else or just laugh in the face of defense debuffs with my extra padding.
  15. I am looking it over, but one thing is that combat jumping and ninja run do not play well with each other and since I use a speed on demand bind precludes using both at the same time as every time I move would turn off combat jumping.

I do think that the 20% resist to slow and recharge debuff might be useful to a set that require timing to get attack chains off, but that would depend on how much +recharge I have in set bonuses.
  16. Okies, here it is.

  17. I am about to hit 26th on this character and am thinking about a respec. I put this together to see how it would look and it seems to look pretty good on paper as it were.

I didn't want to go too heavily in one area except maybe regen, so I spread my enhancement sets out a little. I am not too sure it I went over the limit of 5 for bonuses. I will take a better look at it once I have it posted were I can see everything.

I mainly use Ninja Run as movement and would love to add Hurdle to the respec, but I would probably have to give up Fly and I am not too sure I want to do that as it is the only power I can put the WG: Slow Resist in which I think DB needs. Yes I do qualify for skipping the prereq for Fly.

This is what I came up with.

What I am looking for advice wise is:
!. Power selection and order? Different order? Need something I forgot? Dump something?
    2. Enhancement slots. Enough or too few.
    3. Sets? Different ones or more or less of the ones I am using?
    4. How will it perform over-all?

Thanks for any advice you can give.

EDIT: Not sure why the colors didn't work. Must be the new boards.
  18. I am looking at a possible upgrade. I was running 2 8800 GTX with 768 meg of RAM on each backed by a 1000w PSU, but one of my cards died on me.

I need to see what my MB can handle since it is an old EVGA Nforce 680i.

It's extra fun during a Rikti Invasion; the gathering for the end phase fight becomes a mass of explosions.

That is because they hired Michael Bay as a dev.
  23. I got charged twice and it took a while for the first email to show up to the point that I thought I didn't get charged twice. Then the second one dropped by.
  24. Defeat All mission with lots of mobs and one guy in the back named Al that completes the mission.

Is it typo or did you do it on purpose?!
  25. The idea is an invasion from another dimension that Portal Corps doesn't have access to, so the players would have to do several missions to figure out what is going on and then one to find the portal and enter it kind of like Hero One's Team had to do during the First Rikti War.
