I also play the perimeter defense role, hunting all the sneaky ones who run away and shoot into the mob at a distance (longbow eagles or nullifiers) and take out the hassle crews (Malta Sappers and Longbow Spec ops) before they can do much damage.

My Claws SR has never failed a mayhem infact she does them faster and easier than any other character I have (including my Dark/Dark brute). This may have more than a little to do with the choice of secondary pool however, I eneded up deleting my lvl 34 spines/regen stalker after she died 3 times on a single (Villanous) mayhem. -

Claws/SR FTW - have been playing on Relentless since lvl 35 and only have to change down when I meet a longbow Balista

Stamina - Absolutely (20)
Acrobatics - Absolutely (22)
Dark regen is best left to post Stamina anyway as it drians a 3rd of your endurance when triggered. -

Yep, add this to the stupid debt rules the imposed, the stupid hospitals that don't heal and the teleport to base when dead that reses you fully untoggled on half health and zero stamina in the same place you died in the PvP zone and I'm inclined to agree with the comments postsed in this thread. -
Playing my Claws/SR stalker last night I had a thought, the Def probably beats that of an SR Scrapper as we have hide +Def bonus as well. I also found that even with Claws (probably the lowest damage set of stalkers) I can still take down an Orange minion with 3 or 4 hits (not including crits/AS or build up) and do it so fast that they basically only get 1 or 2 shots in.
I love my stalker again (after adding aid self to the build) but never play here PvP as as stated here everybody can see her and even SRs phenomenal DEF is negated by every heroes +Acc bonus. (I've never had a thrown spine miss her PvP)

Double negative meaning 'everybody does...' -
Regen stalker in particular need the extra HP, this would actually make them worth while playing. As it is the only point to their regen is to allow them to run away and take less time to lick their wounds.

If you debated the posts wouldn't be deleted, the fact is you started taking the discussion personally and lashed out at other posters. That sort of behaviour is usually used as flaming and is very rarely (if ever) tolerated on any board.
Sorry if you feel you have been victimised, I'm sure if you PM Bridger or any of the other reds they'd explain the situation to you. -
I beat one with my Ice/Rad corrupter but then his mate (another Spines/Regen) came and ripped me a new one before I could recover my Endurance.

SR or Ninjitsu Stalkers are wonderful, you need to get upto SO level but they are devastating once you get there.

Crow you have to get your head around the CoV AT's they are very different from their CoH counterparts. Remember they are villian and as such need to be more self reliant. If you want scrapping + support I'd say Brute + Corrupter is the way to go. If you want Tank + Control + Healing then it would be MM + Dominator

Spines regens are pretty much the reason I never PvP. Too much damage too hard to kill and too many of them.
Spines/Regen the ultimate CoH bandwaggon -
Tell him you fight him without insps if he wont use any holds :P

Dark/Dark is awesome- you get 3 brilliant buttons:
Soul Drain aka Turbo boost
Dark Regen aka I'm not dead
Dark Consumption aka I'm not tired
Triggering these 3 in succession (with the aid of death shroud and cloak of fear) allows you to run into a mob of oranges, kill them all and run out the other side with all 3 bar on Full looking for more action.
Add to that Cloak of Fears AoE fear attack (-acc hold) Cloak of Darkness (stealth and +Def) and oppressive gloom's Disorient and you've got a build that can do a mission in less than 5 minutes.
Slot DM for Accuracy and End Redux (forget damage tbh) and DA for Dam Resist and End Redux and you have enough End to keep you going between Dark Consumption boosts. -
I respecced my Claws/SR stalker taking out all the non toggles and replaced them with stimulant and aid self.
Took her into Warburg to hunt toxic tarantulas and don't really get hit that much more often but don't mind so much when I do anymore as I can heal the damage quickly.
I am getting the non-toggles back but at lvl 38 and 41 instead.
Dropped elude as it is nice but boy the crash is a killer. -
Freaks insistance to get in real close is exactly the reason I love them so

Agile and Dodge work extremely well in PvE (until you run upagainst a longbow balista that can almost 1 shot you).
Stealth and Invisible work against Enemy with high perception like Rikti drones. I love SR PvE, there's something satisfing about standing in a ring of enemy watching the dodge flash up over your head as they attack and then hiding while they all attack you. Just don't try it on Longbow, they can hit anything. -
I have a lvl 38 SR stalker with all def powers full slotted and she gets hit all the time in PVP. I'm currently building a Dark/SR and plan to leave out Agile and Dodge and get Aid other Aid/Self as SR badly needs a heal and coupled together with Hasten/Quickness and Siphon Life health shouldn't be a problem. Plus Dark gives and automatic Acc Debuff with every hit that should more than make up for the missing perm powers.
