I went with Air Superiority and Flight over Combat Jumping & Super-jump, which hurts me a bit, defensively, but I can't recall the last time I died outside of some of those nutty AE missions. Of course, I did manage to luck into the +3% defense IO recipe early on.
But my SD/SS tanker is only 35, so I have a little more room to go. At this point, I really doubt I'm going to take Hand Clap, and I might skip Hurl as well, but I'll almost certainly get Foot Stomp, and One With the Shield. Of course, if I take OWtS, I'll have every SD power. (I took Grant Cover because even though I only group up rarely, it is very nice to have to help protect the squishies if I'm not holding everything's attention.) -
Would it be dumb to slot it in the Super Strength power "Rage"?
And does it have a chance to go off only when the power is activated, or at regular intervals during the Rage's duration? -
*nod* Shield Defense (for example) offers Defense (melee) with the toggle power Deflection and Defense (Ranged, AoE) with the toggle power Battle Agility.
Whereas Stone Armor has Defense (Smashing, Lethal) with the toggle power Rock Armor and Defense (Energy, Negative) with Crystal Armor.
A Power pool power like Combat Jumping is +Def (all). -
Ahhhh.... I'd seen that myself and had been wondering.

Still, I remember the early days of CoH, where you couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting a Hulk, Wolverine, or Tick clone.

Honestly, he might last quite awhile. I wouldn't have petitioned him had I not read his bio. The thing he's ripping off is obscure enough that I wouldn't know it was a ripoff.
[/ QUOTE ]..... the Vision is obscure? He was a frickin' Avenger for years. -
I really don't want to know what those hot dogs are made of if they're making a profit at those prices.

I'm Jacob McCandles!

*pause* *shock* I'm sorry, Mr. McCandles, I thought you were dead. -
All it's missing is a patron complaining about the high prices of cheese sticks.

I'm going to chime in with my $0.02 here (well, I have already with a question, but I never saw an answer to it before I logged on and found out firsthand... anyway, I digress).
I've worked a retail position for close on to seven years. And let me tell you all something. Just because there's a sale today on Item X doesn't mean the store must refund you the difference between what you paid and the sale price.
Is it nice if they do it? Yes. Have I seen it happen? Yes. (Actually, more often then you'd think, but then, how often have you rung up jobs that ran $3000 and the customer didn't bat an eye?) But the store doesn't have to do it. Part of it depends on how much customer goodwill they want to maintain, and whether they can reasonably afford to. If you're talking some small chain store or a stand-alone retail outfit, yeah, they probably could give you store credit for the $10 you could have saved if you had waited another day.
Some company like NCSoft, where if they give everyone a free month, it's hundreds of thousands of dollars that they're out? A lot less likely.
Ultimately, if you feel that strongly that you're being cheated and you absolutely must crap yourself into a frenzy over this.... door's over there. ---> -
So, I assume that the G vs E edition in-game item pack is still a separate purchase?
