  1. OOC: I'd be out of this padded box, for one.

BIC: Ghoul chuckled darkly as he stood up and thought about ther times he had been in the cage. He always liked it when someone else was there instead of him.

"Ghoul's gonna get changed," Ghoul said before running over to the stairs and pulling himself up, one stair at a time, to get to his room.
  2. Archlich took the map and gave it a cursory look over before turning back to robot.

"How did the information regarding the incident come to be damaged?" he asked.
  3. Khell showed up outside Conference Room 7 at about the same time as the two elevator guards from the Chief's 'personnal guard', as he and the other regular work stiffs called them. While Khell and crew was equipped with a standard issue pistol and taser, even though Khell's wasn't quite standard anymore, the Chief's guard were loaded to bear with body armor and automatic weaponry. While relations weren't exactly warm and fuzzy between the two types of security guards they were at least all respectful of each other.

"Hey, guys," Khell whispered to the other two men as he looked from them to the closed conference room doors. "What do you say we find out if there's something interesting going on?"

"Sounds good to me," one of the guards whispered back and drew his pistol before standing to one side, ready to cover Khell's entrance. The other guard took up a similiar position as Khell shruggedand put his ear to the door.

"And this, my friends, is why I whispered," Khell whispered as he cupped his ear to the door to see if he heard anything. Hopefully if there was anybody in there they hadn't heard the incoming guards.
  4. The spells were flawless, the cage resistant to acid, and unharmed by the plastic swords. A quartet of glowing numbers suddenly appeared on the inside of the cage and started ticking down from 10:00.

    EDIT: Dur...
  5. Sighing, Archlich flagged down one of the mysticbots. As the robot hovered over, Archlich repressed a shiver at the unwholesomeness of the thing. Magic and technology working together? Disgusting.

"Tell me all that you know regarding the crime that occured here," he ordered the machine.
  6. Archlich's eyes suddenly flared, the brightness causing those children in front of him to cover their eyes. Then, in a flash, he was just as suddenly gone, the children that had been hugging him falling into empty space.

"Where'd he go?" Ghoul said angrily as he pushed Toy off of him.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!?!" roared a voice from upstairs, barely recognizable as Archlich's normal rasp.

"Uh oh, o_o" Toy said as he sat up. "Somewon tried to get in his room."

    ************************************************

Archlich glared at the children in front of him, his gaze alternately flicking from one to the other, trying to get answers from just that stare. He reached down and picked up Blightlord and Kaos, the ones who looked to be the ringleaders, in each hand and brought their faces close to him.

"YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED IN MY ROOM!" he thundered. "ALL OF YOU! IN THE CAGE! NOW!"

Before the babies had a chance to react, all of them were suddenly gone, teleported into a playpen cage set into the back og the center room. This was the place Archlich put children who had been bad. Of course, only Archlich did this as Essex would never dream of doing such a thing. Which, in Archlich's opinion, made me a necessary balance.

The multi-colored bars of the cage, while flimsy looking, were tempered with some of Archlich's finest defensive wards. They were there mainly to keep children's powers, which could sometimes be quite powerful, from getting out and injuring someone in their anger at being put in time out.
  7. I'm pretty sure I never called it Hammerspace, but yeah, Data Bomb was all about how illogical that was. Had it stuck in a loop for minutes.
  8. Archlich looked from Ian to the Detective in annoyance. Why did such a simple operation have to be so fouled up? Putting his annoyance to the side for the moment, Archlich's hand tightened on his sword hilt.

"And how might we aid the police, detective," he asked in his disguised voice. "If we do not even know what the situation is?"
  9. "Mr. Archie!" Ghoul cried out happily because jumping forward and latching onto the lich's other leg. "We love you Mr. Archie!"

"Me too! =D" shouted Toy as he hovered up into the air and threw himself at Archlich's right arm, hugging it with his arms and his wet blanket.

Archlich, for his part, remained relatively calm.

"Get off of me!" he shouted, shaking his limbs to try and dislodge the three before anyone else could take advantage.
  10. "Let's meet outside of CR7," Khell said into his radio as he started walking to the elevator. "Fred, you bring a new camera just in case the one in there broke and the rest of us will hang around just in case something serious happened. Which I doubt."

Stepping into the elevator, Khell tapped the button for the 14th floor, where Conference Room 7 was, and sat back.
  11. The two knights walked into the wall disguised as the doorway to Archlich's room. The actual doorway was about five feet to the right and its door was actually closed.
  12. You know...I'm going to have to make my robots play an instrument now cause you guys have been talking about it so much.

    Mini Bot: Bagpipes

    Combat Toy: Drums

    Large Toy: Trombone

    Block Bot: Flute

    Toy Bot: Keyboard

    Small Toy: Triangle

Toy Dispenser: Guitar (Cause he likes the attention.)

    UNITED WE ARE, TOY'S BOTS!

*goes off to write music and make millions of dollars*
  13. The silver armored figure looked away from the gate guard and focused on the others, specifically the Maltans. His gauntleted hand strayed down to the sword sheathed at his side as Archlich tried to stay in character.

"And what, pray tell," the knight said, his voice echoing oddly from within his helm. "Would servants of the Malta Group be doing at a lawful convocation?"
  14. Every time someone traveled through the doorway, he was teleported to the ceiling as though he was walking out of it.
  15. OOC: Muck went into the doorway and then was teleported to the ceiling. There's no specific path you must walk.
  16. Muck walked through the doorway and then came out of the ceiling. He fell face first to the ground.

    ***********************************************

Archlich stood up and brushed Sienna away as she kept babbling at him. He stepped out of his office and looked at the soaking group of children filing through the door. Archlich put his hands on his hips and sighed.

"Children," he said, making it sound almost like a curse word.
  17. "I need no directions," Archlich said after the robot offered.

He brushed past the mechanical device with a long engrained contempt that he normally kept muffled around Toy Dispenser and the others. He glanced back at Essex in time to see Hallucinogen pop up, causing the lich another fit of consternation. He had really wanted as few people to show up as possible, especially heroes, so that he could destroy this 'magitechnology' and then leave in relative peace.

"No rest for the wicked," Archlich muttered as he walked past Curtis and his Maltans up to the gate guard where he stood in front of the guard and crossed his arms impatiently.
  18. "Are you finally done out there?" Archlich called out from the office as he heard the small stampede of children rush inside. "If you are, go tell those ones upstairs that they should stay away from my room."
  19. "Magitechnology? What the hell?" asked Toy Dispenser as he flung a piece of paper onto the table next to Archlich's chair.

"I told you," Archlich said, talking as though he had already explained it multiple times before, which he had. "I'm going to go there and find out exactly what it is."

"I should go with you then! Who better to understand the technology bit than a guy made of it?"

"You need to finalize the trials of those robots you've been developing," Archlich said as he watched the mastermind pace about the room. "I currently have no pressing engagements so it would be best for myself to go."

"But Archlich," Toy said, freezing in place and looking at the lich right in the eyes. "If you go, you're going to blow the whole place to smithireens."

    "Exactly."

    *************************************************

With a flash, a silver armored figure appeared on the rooftop of a building facing the mansion, invitation in hand. The knight, with his visor flipped down, spent a long moment surveying the terrain. Finally, apparently satisfied, the knight jumped off the roof, disappeared in midair, and reappeared right behind Essex.

After adjusting his royal purple cloak and checking to see that the red runes woven into the edges were alright, the knight looked down at the little girl in front of him and froze.

Her, Archlich thought bitterly. Always her. Now I know this is going to get a lot more complicated.
  20. And I don't have ANY songs that I listen too!

    MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Ghoul managed to squeek out an "Okay." before he pushed the entirely too heavy baby dwarf off of him. Ignoring her after that, Ghoul ran over to tell Reikoff and his group about his plan to get Archlich all wet.
  22. "Wow, O_O" said Toy as he watched the fight going on.

    "I know," Mini Bot said.

"Crazy ain't it," Combat Toy agreed as it fired a pair of nerf missiles the running Cobalt.

"Now you've done it," Large Toy sighed as the rest of the bots opened fire with their laser pointers.

    ***********************************************

"Heh heh, Ghoul let them fight it out and then Ghoul will beat up the winner," Ghoul said to himself as he stayed back from the main fighting, lurking around the edges for his chance.
  23. Yeah, you think that'll work. >_>

    BRING IT ON!!!!!!!1
  24. *watches Lord Recluse and Statesman beat the crud out of eachother*
